News is coming in across the country regarding the fight against smart
meters. If ever there was an indicator that not only does our government not work for the people, but that they have absolutely no interest in what the general population thinks or wants the smart meter issue has got to top the list.
After being exposed personally to the smart meter scam, I began calling senators and representatives not only here in my state, Minnesota, but in other states as well just to get their response.
Without exception this is what I was told in every instance of contact in exactly this order:
- I never heard of smart meters….what are they?
- We haven’t had any other complaints about smart meters.
- Smart meters are no worse than your cell phone. (false)
- There is no credible evidence that says these meters are dangerous. (false)
- This is a legal issue…hire an attorney.
- We only make the laws so we don’t get into legal issues.
- There is nothing we can do for you. Go back to your city council.
What are the chances?
What do you think the chances are that without exception absolutely every senator or representative office we contacted would say exactly the same things, in exactly the same order….unless they were following a carefully prepared script provided to them?
Having had to face my own smart meter battle here in my small rural community after it was identified as having grant money that could be used for smart meters, among many other things, I saw firsthand the use of the same arguments used across the country in the attempt to convince people they have no rights. There were any number of activities this small town could have used the grant money for, but Ferguson Water Suppliers swooped in and shined the city council up and money that could have gone for various improvements that might have benefited this community was wasted on smart meters for water.
Letters were sent out saying the meters were mandatory. No public meetings, no full disclosure, no public input and no one said a word about the 40% rate hike on minimum use charges that will be effective as of January 1, 2012.
Claiming the new meters were more accurate, the City Council failed to mention that no complaints of inaccuracy had been logged with the old meters. (We checked)
Claiming the new meters would save residents money on their water bills, the Council has been unavailable to answer questions as to why the monthly bills will be increased 40%.
Claiming that it would cost $50 per month for a meter reader to walk by and scan the old meter, the City Council has failed to show any former meter reader who ever made any wage remotely close to $50 per hour. This was an obvious attempt to extort property owners who refused the meters in order to coerce compliance.
Claiming they had the authority to mandate the smart meters, the City Council passed an ordinance two months after the fact (defacto laws are prohibited in both federal and state constitutions and ordinances are local laws) in order to make the private contract they had entered into with Ferguson, while failing to meet PERPA requirements, appear legal.
This scenario is being played out across the country. If you think your congressional representatives on any level give a crap, or even remotely care what you think try giving anyone of them a call.

Naperville Smart Meter Awareness news says that 14 states now allow smart meter (also called AMI, AMR, ERT, transmitting meters, etc.) refusal. The fight against these is multi-faceted.

OTHER consumer smart meter issues including privacy and security are KNOWN by utility regulators but not admitted to the public.

yeah if you can put a super glue or resin with a fiber bulk agent in it and stuff it into the analog meter lock hole ……at least the scum bag putting the meter on cannot get the analog off …
if you can get the collar lock ring off ,,and can measure out a template of a lockable/weldable hinged on one end heavy lock ring ,do it cus once these pg$e scumbags nwo stooges put the meter on its lites out for you ……

the dead giveaway is that the neccessity for these microwave cooker meters to pulse thousands of times a day is more based on human destruction as the meter could just pulse the usage for a couple seconds a month to transmit useage ..
i have expereinced the radiation sickness and i never get sick from anything ….
people who say thet these units are harmless need to understand that radio frequency microwaves travel at the speed of light 186,000 miles per second and cycle 3 billion times a second,,this is how microwave ovens cook or navy ship radar is just as daNGEROUIS if you stand in from=nt of it ,,it is deadly …micronucleii proliferation …..etc…

these things are not going pay for themselves for 20 years …..iron shaped collars ,,can be fashioned to mate together on one end and then either lock or weld the other end ////or put a see thru cover or a cover with a read access hole on it for them to read meter …

A SMART meter pulses as many times as 14,000 times an hour and is far more powerful than a standard cell phone. An Iphone is another matter. They are highly hazardous.
A smart meter not only collects data about WHICH appliance you are using, but how long you used it. Thats what all the Energy star and other euphamisms are that are applied to chipped appliances that communicate with the meters. How else would their tiered pricing scheme work if they didn’t have the inside scoop?

You people have no idea what you are talking about. Smart meters give off the same 900Mhz signal as a cordless phone. A cordless phone has the same transmitter and you are holding it against your ear…. which do you think is more dangerous.
A smart meter gives off a one second pulse every hour. It cannot tell what appliances you turn on it just sends your consumption data.

Tuesday, January 24, 2012. – Some guy came to my gate and told me he was here to change out my old meter for the new smart meter. I told him, “No your not.” My dog was there with me and standing next to me and not attempting to approach this guy. He put a stick with a tennis ball on the end of it in her face in his attempt to keep her away from him. I told him to get that away from her Now. He said, “So you are refusing the new meter”, and then he stood there to imput into his hand held machine my refusal. I started to get loud with him and I did chase him off of my property. I did call him a few foul names, that he didn’t know the harm these things do to human health, a few more names, that he was doing this for a paycheck, and I got him out into the street next to his truck. I told him to get in and leave but he was tempting me to go further against him. A couple more names and he drove just a couple of houses away and stopped to put something else into his device. Since these meters were put on the homes around my house, I have not slept one total night through without waking up every hour. I am not a violent person. But lack of sleep for the past nine months has gotten me to where they wanted me to be. On the edge. If those people in public office will not work for the public, then just maybe someone going over the edge will bring this to the forefront of the MSM and from there who knows what. This is what they wanted by putting these meters on homes. A riot. We all know that there are those that want to make a total takeover of world governments including these United States, so let’s forget about going to our congress or state and city governments for help that will never come. Violence is what they want.

Canada some utilities are shifting low peak usage to high peak usage in what
I call ” time shifting ” to inflate hydro bills. Since actual consumption doesn’t
change making it almost impossible to fight. This is one of the major
problems with time of use billing.

Maybe where you live, but here in rural west of the Mississippi, our local “public servants” live on authoritative power and maybe the perks of holding office. They get little to nothing in salaries. They’re your next door neighbor, the bar maid, waiter/cook, school janitor or retired candlestick maker. Part of the Good-Old-Boys Club who think even though they accept the grants along with the “wink, wink” mandated strings, they’re still in charge and they’ll take care of their “friends”, “wink, wink”. Thanks to their ignorance, they are being used and serve the Communitarian Shadow Government who also owns them through grants and promises of life long political careers.

Aware of that knowledge (your power board) has continued to surreptitiously install Smart Meters within its operational area.
May 31, 2011, the World Health Organization classified radio frequency electromagnetic fields as a Group 2B Carcinogen. Dr. Robert Baan of the International Agency for Research of Cancer clarified the classification 2B, possibly carcinogenic, “holds for all types of radiation within the radiofrequency part of the electromagnetic spectrum, including the radiation emitted by base-station antennas, radio/TV towers, radar, Wi-Fi, Smart Meters, etc.”
Board Commissioners of (your power board) have betrayed the community and the public trust by not disclosing this information and are grossly negligent for failure to create a mechanism of choice whereby individuals may elect to have or not have these devices installed in accordance with the Energy Policy Act of 2005, which requires all public utilities to offer net metering on request to their customers. Consider also the fact Agent Orange was a Group 2 Carcinogen until a 1998 reclassification to Group 1. Denial of its lethal effects and years of cover-up by our government have thoroughly been researched and well documented.
Additionally, smart meters violate federal wiretapping laws by recording and storing databases of private activities without the knowledge and consent of the People who are monitored. Smart Meters can identify individual electrical devices and record when they are in operation, making them a tool for invading the right of privacy and domestic security.
The Board is vulnerable to law suit for unconstitutional and possible dangerous assault on people in their own homes and neighborhoods. Under Federal law of “qualified immunity” Board members may be held personally liable for damages because their immunity is valid only “insofar as their conduct does not violate clearly established statutory or constitutional rights of which a reasonable person would have known”. And the agency is not entitled to “absolute immunity” for administrative or investigative functions.
You have been justly notified; your immunity is in jeopardy and you may be held personally responsible for illnesses resulting from Smart Meter radiation and illegal wiretapping. Other areas of the country have legally returned to optional analog meter use as opposed to Smart Meter “enforcement”. You owe accountability to the citizenry for this situation and have no vote of confidence until it is resolved.

I just finished Koire’s book. Easy to follow and reads like an Adventure in Governmentland, where we the people are all Alices. BTW, just because your town, city, county isn’t a member of ICLEI, I’ll bet they belong to the National Association of Counties( NACo) or a state affiliated puppet(Name-of-State Association of Counties) or a league of cities and towns. They are ALL lobbying for, promoting the rules, regulations of and training how to impose the implementation of Smart Growth and everything else “smart” that goes with it.

You need to do the research on smart meter’s. Smart meter’s are like a CELL TOWER ATTACHED TO YOUR HOME. They are actually WAY WORSE!! The
signal goes through ALL YOUR WIRING 24/7 AND CAN’T BE TURNED OFF!!
There is also a pulsating beam constantly going as well through your home.
Smart meter’s also put out a LOT OF DIRTY ELECTRICITY, AND ARE A FIRE HAZARD AS WELL!! All new appliances will also have wireless transistor’s that work with the smart (dumb) meter’s. The meter’s are actually a WEAPON!!

In Australia we don’t have great rivers, there are only Murray and the Darling which essentially run from the north-east down to the centre in the south. The previous government introduced water allocation for the users of this essentiall system and thus made it a commodity. Greed took over from there and water hoarding began in the north on a grand scale leaving the lower half of the country in pretty poor shape. Banks and investors started buying the allocations and some farmers were left with farms that couldn’t be farmed. Subsequent governments turned out to be just as apethetic and and the whole situation has stalemated for 10 years. Water is the new tax stream. I synpathise with your plight.

For what it’s worth…I managed to put off BC Hydro until Dec, when they finally managed to pin me down I said I do not want one, cited job loss as my major concern. The girl who came to install it was very pleasant, she said “No problem, lots of people are opting out. Happy New year” and she left. BC Hydro has always been unfailingly considerate when reading my metre and in BC we have the cheapest hydro in N America. I pay ~7 cents/kwh compare that to the 28 cents/kwh Hawaii pays. Anyone who has a cell phone or wi-fi in their house is exposing themselves to a helluva lot more em radiation than a smart metre.

I’ve read several articles lately warning about how vulnerable we are to a EMP (electromagnetic pulse) weapon attack. It’s almost like we’re being told it’s going to happen.

I’ve been battling my electric company for a year over that damn Smart Meter.
The NMPRC finally sent me a letter claiming they have no jurisdiction over what type of meter a utility installs.
I answered them publicly proving that they do:

My bills went from $60 per month to $250 plus. My landlady cannot recover from quad bypass surgery. My animals are acting strange and that meter kills every plant I seed.
The Smart Grid is nothing but corporate fascism looking for a place to rob the public. I think they found it.

I know for a fact the smart meter’s are dangerous for your health. I had one for over a
year and a half WITHOUT ANYONE EVER NOTIFYING ME. I had major health issues from it! What REALLY SHOW’S IT’S A SCAM is the way they claim were in the dark ages with analog meter’s AND YET WE STILL USE OIL THAT IS PREHISTORIC TECHNOLOGY, BECAUSE THE PTB CONTROL THE WORLD WITH OIL. But you won’t see AN END TO OIL USAGE ANYTIME SOON!!!
AND OF COURSE NUCLEAR THAT ALSO PROFIT’S TPB,AND KILLS US OFF AT THE SAME TIME!!

To those asking whats wrong with smart meters.
Firstly, the meters can be completely shut down remotely. In the past, it would take technicians to physically go and disconnect the power supply to an area. Now it can be done remotely. Hackers, or mischievous individuals will be able to bypass the security measures and knock out the power to areas. They could then circumvent the security measures against the power suppliers to have a very difficult time to restore power in a timely manner. In times of emergency, governments and military can also take advantage by remotely shutting down power for what ever reason they see fit.
Secondly, the meters themselves are hazardous to health. The output of electro-magnetic fields are too high to be safe. While one meter’s output might be safe, the meters combined in a area amounts to serious levels. For example, in townhouse situations the meters are grouped closely to homes in the area. So the effects are multiplied. When you add up the EMF output it exceeds wireless/cell phone tower transmissions. Wireless tower transmitters clearly state warnings for no individuals to be near for extended periods of time, due to health and safety reasons. But these same health and safety reasons are ignored for smart meters.
Anyone who is tech savvy can check the amount of EMF output from their smart meter, and they can also see how far it reaches into your home. It will shock you if your knew how bad it is.
Its just one of those things that will take time to see how bad of decision it is to have these smart meters around us, just like lead paint or asbestos in the past.

PG$E, California’s Utility Monopoly, recently admitted that each smart meter transmits radiation between 10,000 & 190,000 times each day.
This corrects previous false statements repeated often by utility companies across the country.
NOTE: many of the tests on non-ionizing radiation (the type of radiation emitted by smart meters) have been done using devices other than smart meters because smart meters have only been in people’s homes for a very short time.

SMART METERS ARE ONLY GOOD FOR UTILITY COMPANY EXECUTIVES
Concepts and theory sounds great, but upon closer inspection:
A. Utility bills are increasing where smart meters are installed, not decreasing.
B. Customer information from smart meters is NOT formatted for customers and does NOT change customer behavior towards conservation.
C. The cost – benefit of smart meters is horrendous and is being promoted to profit the utility companies and their suppliers, not customers, our society or our environment.
D. The Smart Grid does NOT use or require a smart meter on each home. The necessary smart information can be gathered much more efficiently and timely and inexpensively at energy distribution points. (The smart grid does not care or need to know how much power any one home uses.)
E. The vast amount of unnecessary and nearly useless information to be handled and stored may actually raise energy usage.
F. This massive Billions-of-dollars smart meter program (that we pay for) will leave NO funds for programs that would truly bring energy saving solutions and the public will not be receptive to real solutions after being burned by these Smart meters.

I heartily recommend that you get Rosa Koire’s book Behind the Green Mask: UN Agenda 21. In her book she tells how to fight the Delphi technique being used against us in order for the Agenda to be brought to every community in the USA. She also tells about her own battle in Santa Rosa CA. We are studying Delphi, Smart Meters,…..how to fight against city (and county) hall and I suggest you get this book to learn more on how to fight the battle.
