Whistleblowers is brought to you in coordination with Marcel Reid and the Annual Whistleblowers Summit.

Our guest tonight is Carrie Devorah.  Carrie is a recognized whistleblower.  Carrie was recently confirmed as a successful whistleblower by the SEC on, what I expect is the first, of more confirmations to come.

“I did the TIP Whistleblower pursuit on my own. I was not represented by Counsel. This is unheard of, moreso since I am the Financial Crime victim.”

August 2010 the SEC asked me to be their whistleblower on JP Morgan, Western and Dawn Bennett. Ten years later one only sits in Jail- Ponzi scammer Dawn J Bennett https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4840938/Radio-host-ran-Ponzi-scheme-tried-cast-spell-SEC.html
But I reported JP Morgan, Western in this matter, too…..(end quote)
Whistleblowers have come out of every federal agency and corporations yet not one of the perpetrators ever sees a day in jail.

While politicians and MSM cry hysterically about socialism and communism in order to strike fear in the public, the real danger we face is fascism; the corporate control of everything, including our daily lives. Unfortunately too many members of the public drank the kool aid on this one, refusing to accept the true state of affairs that has decimated our economy and is in the process of destroying the lives of everyday Americans.. As corporations that have been determined to be “too big to fail” are bailed out for the second time since 2008, you’d think we would get the message. We, the public, are expendable. We are not “essential”.

Even with the ongoing attempts to censor anything not in line with the government propaganda, the information about the virus continues to surface. Doctors, scientists, microbiologists and many other qualified individuals continue to sound the alarm to convey to the public that they are being set up and lied to. Even so, those who are firmly rooted in the political divides; those who haven’t figured out the biggest conspiracy theory’s ever presented to the public originate from government, and those who just blindly accept whatever they are told hold firm to the biggest conspiracy theory of our lifetimes, if you discount 9/11.

The real reason for social distancing

It seems to me that if this so-called deadly virus spread as quickly and easily as is claimed, standing six feet apart would be of no benefit. The idea that it would borders the ridiculous. Everyone would have to stand perfectly still inside a plastic bubble in order for this to be of any reasonable use.

Keeping us separated has one very distinct purpose. This is a psychological maneuver intended to isolate us and to embed into our minds a sense of isolation. Isolation is a well known form of psychological torture and has a deleterious effect on the mental state of human beings. We are herd creatures and being separated from one another is not a natural state for us. But as long as they can keep us separated, it makes us far easier to manipulate and control.

If there was any real possibility of this virus spreading the way it is claimed, absolutely everything would have been shut down, including large corporate stores and businesses.

Can someone please explain why the majority of local businesses had to close down because of this non-pandemic virus, but huge corporations can continue to operate; the House and Senate can continue to assemble. For God’s sake Home Depot and Walmart are still operating among other like businesses. More

Is the corporate media-generated hysteria over what appears to be a normal influenza virus happenstance?

“The real destroyers and psychopathic misanthropes, however, are in high places. They are cynically and criminally exploiting the coronavirus—so far no more dangerous than seasonal flu—to shove their one-world agenda down our throats as easily frightened Americans run around like Chicken Little, begging the state to take care of us before the sky falls.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I certainly don’t claim to be a financial wizard. In fact, at best, I have a rudimentary understanding of how the convoluted funny money economy works. However, you don’t need to fully comprehend the ins-and-outs of rigged monetary system to understand we’re in for big trouble and the coronavirus “pandemic” is not only accelerating the fall but will make the outcome far, far worse.
For more detail on the financial end of this disaster, read Mike Whitney’s Why Washington’s COVID-19 Relief Package Must Be Stopped!
No chance, however. As I write this, Congress passed a pork-laden “stimulus” bill.
If we can believe numbers put out by the CDC, as of Friday, March 27 there were 1,246 deaths in the US attributed to the virus. Compare this with the 1968 H3N2 “Hong Kong Flu.” It reportedly killed 100,000 people in the US and around a million around the world.
At the time, the response was not to lock down the country and destroy the livelihood of millions of Americans and usher in the severe violations of the Constitution we are now witnessing. More
The Senate Corporate Bailout Package Is a ‘Robbery in Progress,’ Warn Critics
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As details of the Senate’s coronavirus stimulus plan slowly trickled in Wednesday, progressive critics characterized the sprawling legislative package as a brazen attempt by both political parties to use trillions of dollars in taxpayer money to bail out and further enrich large corporations while tossing mere crumbs to the most vulnerable.

“This is a robbery in progress,” wrote David Dayen, executive editor at The American Prospect. “And it’s not a bailout for the coronavirus. It’s a bailout for twelve years of corporate irresponsibility that made these companies so fragile that a few weeks of disruption would destroy them.”

“We can call it a bailout. But this is so big it is more like Congress is creating a new government for our economy, replacing our old government. And this one doesn’t have any meaningful democratic protections. A pandemic coup.”
—Zephyr Teachout, Fordham Law

While progressives applauded some provisions in the massive package—including the significant expansion of unemployment benefits and protections for airline workers—Dayen said the stimulus package as a whole is an “outrageous betrayal” of the U.S. public and “a rubber-stamp on an unequal system that has brought terrible hardship to the majority of America.”

“The people get a [one-time] $1,200 means-tested payment and a little wage insurance for four months,” Dayen wrote. “Corporations get a transformative amount of play money to sustain their system and wipe out the competition.”

A Senate vote on the stimulus plan is expected as early as Wednesday afternoon, even though the full legislative text has not yet been released to the public.

The bill would establish a $500 billion fund designed to bail out large corporations hit hard by the coronavirus crisis. Around $75 billion of the program, which would be controlled by the Trump Treasury Department, is earmarked for the airline industry.

But, Dayen wrote, the “enormity of this bailout is being under-reported.”

“The other $425 [billion] helps capitalize a $4.25 trillion, with a T, leveraged lending facility at the Federal Reserve,” Dayen said. “So it’s not a $2 trillion bill, it’s closer to $6 trillion, and $4.3 trillion of it comes in the form of a bazooka aimed at CEOs and shareholders, with almost no conditions attached.”

The Washington Post reported Wednesday that the stimulus package also includes a little-noticed $17 billion federal loan program that was inserted largely for the benefit of aerospace giant Boeing.

Dayen appeared on HillTV‘s “The Rising” Wednesday morning to discuss his thoughts on the Senate bill:

“Just because the rest of the world is consenting to all of this does not mean that you have to as well. Do I have to point out the fraud of 9/11, Sandy Hook, the Kennedy brother murders, the attack on the USS LIBERTY, Pearl Harbor and countless other examples of crimes committed by agents of “government” (Latin for “mind control”) to move their criminal agenda forward? Please wake up from your programming! The truth is out there. All you have to do is look for it.”

Yesterday I went to several stores to buy a dozen eggs and a loaf of bread. There were no eggs to be found anywhere and the only bread I found was at Walmart in the “baking” section separate from the bread isle.

Now ask yourself these questions. Did the chickens all of a sudden stop laying eggs? Did they go on strike over pathetic environmental conditions at these corporate farms? Did the corona virus wipe out the chicken population? Did millions of tons of wheat magically disappear overnight? Did bread makers go out of business last week? Did the trucks stop delivering products to even the multinational corporations? Of course not.
I for one am disgusted by all of this. I know the difference between a real pandemic and propaganda 101. The news is 24 hours a day talking about a virus that has killed only a few people. I even question how many of those dead people were actually going to their graves due to the corona virus. Since most of these people supposedly killed by the virus were old that makes for a very useful group to target to exploit for propaganda purposes. How many died of other causes and yet were treated as if the virus killed them?

Fed Has 10-Year Plan to Save Banks, But No Plan to Save Americans Devastated By Fallout, Admits Powell

Leave a comment

Is the Fed’s latest money funnel to unnamed trading houses on Wall Street part of the plan?

By Pam Martens and Russ Martens of Wall Street on Parade.

During his testimony to the Senate Banking Committee yesterday, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell let it slip out, for the first time, that the Federal Reserve has had a 10-year game plan to deal with the financial crisis. In response to a question on cyber threats from Senator Ben Sasse of Nebraska, Powell stated the following:

“They kind of pay us to be awake at night worrying about things. I would say that if you look at what happened in the financial crisis, we had a game plan there. We implemented it over the course of 10 years. I won’t say that it’s perfect or anything like that, but we have a plan that is meant to address those kinds of things.”

“Those kinds of things?” The financial crisis, fueled by corruption and lax regulation of Wall Street banks, destroyed the housing market in the U.S. and left the U.S. economy in tatters. Millions of Americans lost their jobs and their homes to foreclosure. The New York Fed was the supervisor of key Wall Street banks that caused this problem – shouldn’t it have had a 10-year game plan to prevent “Those kinds of things” instead of creating the game plan after the damage had been done?

Stop worrying about the “commies” or the Socialists …Its Fascism Stupid!

In My Opinion…..

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I swear if I see one more hysterical extreme right winger screeching hysterically about how the “commies” are coming or, the Socialists are taking over I will probably vomit.  We are in the grips of full blown fascism and the corporations now rule our country, our economy, and virtually every aspect of our lives.  As the corporate elites live like parasites on a fat infested dog, more Americans are left homeless, hungry and without hope.
Hiding behind radical religious institutions, a vicious political party has formed which I like to call “the Idiocons”. The name is derived from the words “idiot” and “con” artists who worship power more than life itself.  Add a heaping helping of religious extremism and we have the perfect storm for an idiocracy.
The Idiocons recite with predictable regularity that we are a nation founded on Christian principles.  We are NOT!  The founders were those who fled England and the collaboration of church and state against the people.  The one thing they were intent on avoiding was the combining of religion and government.  Hence, we got the 1st Amendment which not only allows us to believe what we wish to believe, but to do so without government interference or collusion.  It states specifically that there will be a separation of church and state; the founders recognizing and remembering what a murderous and deadly combination this was and could become.  ( George Washington in the Treaty of Tripoli, states emphatically that we are in no sense founded on the Christian religion)
We have attacked relentlessly other country’s who are controlled by radical religious beliefs. We have seen first hand how dangerous and murderous a religion controlled government can be to its own people.  Do you really want that here?  The Evangelical movement which is commonly referred to as the “evangevils” represents the same kind of threat to our nation as other radical religious belief systems represent to theirs.  And in each country operating as a fascist regime, religion is the weapon of choice used to beat the people down.
Radical religions along with fascism are the cornerstones of the Idiocon party.  It is not about God or what is best for the country….its all about power.
Our own U.S. Senate, in 1797, stated clearly that “the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian religion.”
The words appeared in the Treaty of Tripoli, written when George Washington was president, sent to the Senate by John Adams, who followed Washington as president. It was read aloud in the Senate and also printed for every senator. The senators voted unanimously to ratify, with no dissension noted in any record, and there is little evidence of any public complaints when the treaty was printed in three newspapers, in Philadelphia and New York City.
THOMAS JEFFERSON’S VIEWS OF THE PURITAN FAITH
“His [Calvin’s] religion was demonism. If ever man worshiped a false God, he did. The being described in his five points is … a demon of malignant spirit. It would be more pardonable to believe in no God at all, than to blaspheme him by the atrocious attributes of Calvin”
SCENARIO OF NATIONAL BANKRUPTCY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Doom and gloom are appearing with increased frequency in U.S. and global financial writings but specific details of a potential economic catastrophe are never given. Let us speculate on what could happen in the United States.

Is a view into an economic catastrophe available ?

ANSWER: Sure, that is easy. Read what has happened to Greece and Argentina. William Blum, John Perkins, and Chossudovsky give many more examples. Bank deposits have been seized; pensions have been wiped out; jobs have been terminated; real estate and assets are selectively confiscated; the economy crashes; national assets are sold at fire-sale prices to financiers; financiers must approve every government action; etc. The same New York City parties, and their proxies, are repeatedly involved.

How might it be handled in the U.S. ?

ANSWER: The Federal Reserve Bank of New York City will handle it. They have exclusive handling of funds to redeem Treasury securities—as a fiscal agent for the government. They will select who gets funds which the government has available. Ref. 31 CFR 375.3.

Who will benefit from the crash?

ANSWER: Primary Dealers currently receive >$10 trillion annually for redeeming Treasury securities. Some of them were involved in creating the Federal Reserve. The concept that they hold ownership of the Board of Governors, in a closely held corporation that does not have to file with the SEC, should not be overlooked. Furtive acts abound in the creation of the Fed. Their derivatives creations have obtained super-priority status in bankruptcy. More

THE FEDERAL RESERVE: A DIFFERENT VIEW

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“What difference does an increase in the National Debt make? We owe it to ourselves.” virtually every congress-critter has declared. Such a paraphrased statement, reflecting on the exoskeleton structure of the Federal Reserve, ignores the inner historic mechanisms of Rothschild banking, the intense subterfuge and arm-twisting of the Fed’s creation, and the proven destructive forces inherent but hidden therein. 1
The medieval Rothschild Banks established a line of credit for the King provided the King issued a written promise to pay gold, with interest, to the bank at a time in the future. The book-entry Rothschild credit was used to pay for obligations incurred by the king. The credit continued to be circulated in the kingdom between merchants. The bankers sold the king’s interest bearing promise of gold to investors. The promise was renewed by the king on its maturing date and became perpetually rolled-over. 2
VOILA !!! The king made the suppliers of services happy with Rothschild credit; the bankers had the gold from investors; the investors had a promise the king would eventually pay them in gold—which would never happen. 3 Everything went smoothly as long as the bankers could sell the promise and the investors did not demand the gold. 4 As Benjamin Ginsburg has lamented in FATAL EMBRACE; (bankers) AND THE STATE 5, eventually the schemes, which stole the wealth from the people with book-entry fiat money, would come to a catastrophic climax. 6
The Federal Reserve system, claimed to be “staffed and run by Council on Foreign Relations members” 7 does the same thing for the U.S. government’s deficit spending. Their wizard is hiding behind Frank Baum’s curtain as obscurant to any public inquiry.8
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will grant credit (not “create money”) in an account of the US government with an amount that the government will pledge. 9 The government will expend the book-entry-credit account (deficit spending) to pay for goods and services consumed by the government. The suppliers are content. Evidence that the supplier has received a credit voucher is obvious. [It is touted to the public as a loan.10] The heading of the currency given to the supplier by a local commercial bank is Federal Reserve Note; i.e., a debt obligation of the Federal Reserve also identified as a “tender” (substitute) required by law to be accepted for an imprinted number of dollars. 11 More
The Fed Fears an Explosion on Wall Street: Here’s How JPMorgan Lit the Fuse
Leave a comment
By Pam Martens and Russ Martens of Wall Street on Parade
JPMorgan Chase is the largest bank in the United States with $1.6 trillion in deposits from more than 5,000 retail bank branches spread across the country. When it withdraws liquidity from the U.S. financial system, that has a reverberating impact.
According to the filings that JPMorgan Chase makes annually with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), since 2013 JPMorgan Chase has spent $77 billion buying back its own stock. That includes the whopping $17.01 billion it has spent in just the first nine months of this year buying back its stock.
But here’s the shocking news. According to its SEC filings, JPMorgan Chase is partly using Federally insured deposits made by moms and pops across the country in its more than 5,000 branches to prop up its share price with buybacks. The wording in the filing is as follows:
“In 2019, cash provided resulted from higher deposits and securities loaned or sold under repurchase agreements, partially offset by net payments on long-term borrowing…cash was used for repurchases of common stock and cash dividends on common and preferred stock.”
Had JPMorgan Chase not spent $77 billion propping up its share price with stock buybacks, it would have $77 billion more in cash to loan to businesses and consumers – the actual job of its commercial bank. Add in the tens of billions of dollars that other mega banks on Wall Street have used to buy back their own stock and it’s clear why there is a liquidity crisis on Wall Street that is forcing the Federal Reserve to hurl hundreds of billions of dollars a week at the problem.
On September 17, the overnight lending rate on repurchase agreements (repos) spiked from the typical 2 percent range to 10 percent, meaning some very big lenders such as JPMorgan Chase were backing away from lending. That forced the Federal Reserve to jump in as lender of last resort, the first time it has done that in any material way since the financial crisis
OPINION:
I cannot believe, after successive presidency’s reflecting both supposed political ideologies and party’s, that anyone is still buying into the right vs. left, Republican vs. Democrat, liberal vs. conservative, BS. And it is BS.
Playing on, at times, extreme religious beliefs, or manufactured propaganda meant to frighten you in to accepting another war of aggression, or professed moral righteousness, we are encouraged to vote for one party or the other. Along with the tossing about of the words socialism and communism and the chronic hysteria that accompanies those words, many of us are convinced that our votes really matter or that things will actually change as a result. Actually, they do change…they always get worse. Makes no difference which wing of the this one party system you vote for.
Combining church and state?
We have a 1st amendment prohibiting that and for good reason.
Let me say that the lunacy emanating from churches in today’s world is enough to make a rational, reasonable man’s head explode. When I see blanket statements such as “Democrats hate Conservatives and Christians”…Really?? Really America? How many of you actually believe that? Or how about, “conservatives hate Democrats and they are satanists?” Are you really that easily manipulated and stupid? But if you need one, the barrage of idiotic religious drivel from either side of this combination of church and state, or, the lack thereof, is really obnoxious.
That’s Socialism! That’s Socialism!
First, let’s clear one thing up right off the bat! America is in no danger of becoming a socialist or communist nation. We are heading full steam ahead More
Why They Push to “Privatize” Everything…Especially on the Federal Level
22 Comments
Marti Oakley   PPJ Gazette copyright © 2019
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ever wonder why the government, that spends billions if not trillions each year on wasteful agencies and programs, then allows those agencies to become so dysfunctional, so costly they become a detriment to the public? This is an intentional plan in action with a very much desired end result. Privatization. This means, that some special, well connected “stakeholder” who will make massive amounts of money bilking the public is ready and set to go. The word stakeholder is a word used to describe those who have a vested monetary interest in profiting by any means necessary and they have bribed, bought, groomed, and pampered any elected official willing to sell you out. And bear in mind that no private interest would be remotely interested in taking over any of these services or agencies if the potential for unlimited and unregulated profits was not part of the deal.

The reason that the federal government and its agencies contract out work to private corporations; work they should be quite able to perform in and of themselves (considering this is the reason they were put in office in the first place) and the vast amount of money squandered each year, is to limit the information the public can gain access to under FOIA or other inquiries. What that private corporation will hide behind is “proprietary rights” and “trade secrets”. Unconstitutionally ceding their business, power and authority to a private corporation provides protection from prying eyes and mountains of unconstitutional and unlawful activity can be safely kept out of the public eye through privatization.

So called “deregulation” , sold to the public as necessary if the economy is to survive, is simply a means by which corporations are allowed to operate without those precious regulations, codes, laws, or other bothersome rules the rest of us are bound by. Supposedly, regulations make business too difficult for them to operate. And you saw the benefits of deregulation in 2008 when Wall Street oversaw the disappearance of millions and billions of dollars of other people’s money…money which was never recovered. The corporate world claimed that those regulations were an interference with “free trade”, and “capitalism”.

60% of all corporations PAY NO TAXES. But somehow they do receive multi-million dollar tax refunds each and every year. How does “free trade and capitalism” sound to you now? Free breaks for them and the capital flows into their accounts. All the while you, the over regulated and taxed individual fights to keep enough of your income to survive on. [2]

How Today’s Multiculturalism Fuels the Growth of  Third World Cities in America

Leave a comment

By: chuck Frank

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A good many American  people began their decent into into the dreaded black hole around the same time that President, Bill Clinton left office, that allowed our corporations to expand their relocation overseas and also into Mexico.  Banks were also given at the same time Clinton’s gift of deregulation which had protected America’s financial health ever since the Great Depression of the 1930’s.  Finally, the banks gambled with high risk
investments spearheading the 2008 financial meltdown that transpired, while housing foreclosures ran at 3.1 million in 2008 alone to where families lost their houses.
In retrospect, there were now two dreadful mistakes President Clinton and Congress left us with.
The first one was NAFTA which was meant to “bring jobs to America” through free and fair trade.  That didn’t happen.  Unemployment just got worse and in the end, who got rich off of that deal? It was the corporations and the high rollers.
While America began sinking to new lows, deficit spending by the trillions was in order by the Obama administration, while at the same time, multiculturalism was an agenda being pushed  by that same administration as Congress looked the other way.
The caliber of those people being brought into America during those years had not been vetted properly by those agencies who were paid to evaluate the incoming immigrants.  Those agencies at that time were mostly interested in the “placement money” and were not concerned about the safety of the American citizens or how well these immigrants would assimilate.  It is obvious that during those recent years, thousands upon thousands of immigrants which were placed in various cities began to become, brick by brick, a foundation of civil unrest which historically has been used in Marxist philosophy and teachings for the purpose of bringing a country to a low point in order to topple a free and democratic society and thus replace it with an inferior form of tyrannical rule where the people either do not have a say or they are given the appearance of having a say while a charade of politicians offers a structure of formality for the people’s input which will never transpire.  It’s no different than trickle down economics which never happens when there is a deceptive progressive/socialistic agenda supporting  big government, more taxation, runaway corruption, kickbacks, expensive healthcare plans, pensions, and finally deficit spending.
Add sanctuary states, counties and cities such as Seattle into this mix to where people have no money, no moral compass and no desire to assimilate,
this model becomes the last and final brick in a nation that is about to fall from grace.   It is high time that American’s who see the writing on the wall take America back before it is too late as “third world cities”are already becoming commonplace in America.
Why Do They Want Our DNA?
4 Comments
By Dr. John Reizer
Why are we constantly being encouraged by television shows and associated commercials to supply our DNA to different corporate entities?
Whether it’s for disease screenings or to locate long lost relatives, is it really a good idea to give out our DNA to strangers?
ABSOLUTELY NOT!
There’s an important reason not to have your DNA tested by companies that are trying to help you  screen different diseases or to find distant family members. The DNA information that you are providing is being collected by companies that can sell your private genetic secrets to Big Pharma, insurance companies and government agencies that might use the data against you.
Think of it this way; would you voluntarily hand out your social security number to strangers? Of course you wouldn’t. If someone gets hold of your social security number, he or she could steal your identity and cause you lots of financial problems. We all know this and go to a lot of trouble to protect ourselves from identity thieves.
The same mindset and caution should be practiced when it comes to DNA. DNA contains all of the unique biochemical secrets concerning our bodies and the bodies of our ancestors. When we are protective of our genetic codes, we’re not only protecting ourselves, we’re being protective of everybody in our family tree. It’s a big responsibility and one we should take very seriously.
There are plenty of people in the world that have nefarious agendas. Don’t be so eager to give them your secret genetic codes. Trust me when I write that this is not a very good idea. What you don’t really understand could quite honestly come back to hurt you and your loved ones.
What do you think about this subject?
Duty to Warn
(Below is a tiny portion of the many very good reasons why legal drug cartels should never have been trusted in the past and why they should never be trusted again)
By Gary G. Kohls, MD – April 10, 2019
PART 1….
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In some of the many Duty to Warn columns that I have written over the years about the domination that for-profit corporations have acquired over healthcare delivery in America, I have especially tried to warn readers (especially parents of vulnerable infants and children) about the many hidden dangers from the thousands of drugs and vaccines that are mass-produced by the hundreds of multinational drug and vaccine manufacturers across the world. Every single one of those corporations has unethically hidden those dangers via their ever-present propaganda efforts.

For profit corporations don’t pledge the Hippocratic Oath like physicians and nurses used to do. And the only “ethical” duty of corporations is a fiduciary one. Their only “ethical” responsibility is to their shareholders; and that means “to make as large a profit as possible” so that those shareholders will benefit from dividend distribution or share price escalation.

Large for-profit corporations meet the definition of sociopathic entities, which means they have no real interest in the well-being of the public or the environment – unless there are some long-term benefits for the corporation in pretending to be a good citizen or a protector of the environment.

Multinational corporations, no matter what there are the products that they manufacture or market, are largely cold-hearted, conniving, money-hungry entities. Most of us see through their advertising propaganda and attractive logos, sports sponsorships, and their smiley-faced spokespersons who are regularly given space to spout their propaganda during the nightly news reports. Even state-of-the-art mine tailings ponds that use earthen dam walls (especially if they are intended to grow to become 250 feet tall like PolyMet’s!!) are subject to sudden, unexpected – and very catastrophic – breaches that could easily destroy for a generation every living thing in the watershed downstream. Even tributaries can be contaminated and even destroyed in the sudden deluge that can reverse the flow of the creeks temporarily.

And be warned that foreign multinational mining corporations – just like every other profit-minded, multinational corporation that anybody can think of – has their profits as their number one goal; the long-term adverse environmental effects from their mining operations be damned!

Foreign multinational mining corporations have poisoned the environment – sometimes gradually, sometimes catastrophically – wherever on the planet they have extracted their minerals – NO EXCEPTIONS.

The giant multinational mining corporations Vale, BHP Billiton and Samarco (that have extensive operations in Brazil) have again demonstrated to the world why they can’t be trusted, for just yesterday (January 25, 2019) they have perpetrated another environmental catastrophe.

Read on and understand that similar disasters could (and probably will) happen downstream from the PolyMet/NorthMet/Glencore sulfuric acid-producing copper mine whose tailings pond dam is scheduled to rise to an eventually unstable height of 250 feet !!

Far more communities than the dozen towns named above could be devastated irreparably, despite what the starry-eyed and bamboozled (and/or paid off by political contributions) politicians like Senator Klobuchar, Senator Smith, US House member Stauber, ex-US House member Nolan, and practically every politician from either major political party that one can think of. The high potential for sudden environmental disasters similar to Samarco, Mount Polley (British Columbia) and now Brumadinho, Brazil (plus a hundred others since global mineral extractions by huge corporations began).

“ALL tailings “ponds” are a problem. If they don’t breach and spill massive amounts of toxic sludge into the environment like at Mount Polley, they leach that contamination slowly, poisoning the waters and lands (and aquifers) around them for centuries.” — From: http://canadians.org/blog/update-mount-polley-mine-disaster-imperial-metals-and-government-focus-covering-instead.

5 Stories Americans Missed While Fighting Over A Viral Video That Has No Effect On Their Lives

An essentially pointless video of a white Catholic teen wearing a MAGA hat staring at a Native American veteran—who approached him—was at the forefront of every major news outlet this week. The video did not show a crime or government corruption, yet it was able to draw a line through this country on a massive scale. The video is being used by both sides of the political spectrum to paint the other side as monsters. Regardless of which “side” you take, however, the society as a whole will still lose.

The video only affected two people, Nick Sandmann and Nathan Phillip, yet the entire country—quite literally at the direction of mainstream media—allowed it to affect them. The media is getting so good a cutting the country in half on random issues that there is actually a term for it. Videos and instances like this are called a “scissor.”

As Ross Douthat recently pointed out, in a short story published last October, “Sort by Controversial,” Scott Alexander imagines a Silicon Valley company that accidentally comes up with an algorithm to generate what it calls a “Scissor.” The scissor is a statement, an idea or a scenario that’s somehow perfectly calibrated to tear people apart — not just by generating disagreement, but by generating total incredulity that somebody could possibly disagree with your interpretation of the controversy, followed by escalating fury and paranoia and polarization, until the debate seems like a completely existential, win-or-perish fight.

This win or perish fight has become the go to reaction for nearly every news story. Instead of critical thought on news articles, people simply build their defenses and prepare for war—actual truth be damned.

“OMG, the MAGA hat is literally a swastika! It represents everything wrong with society!” Or, “those stupid libtards are trying to ruin this country by preventing Trump from building that wall!” Meanwhile, both sides are missing the point. Their ridiculous infighting is keeping them distracted from actual issues that affect their lives. More

Merck & Company and Big Pharma’s Nefarious Search for Profits An Example of how a Small-Town German Apothecary Shop Morphed into a Greedy Multinational Corporation that Disregards Ethical Principles

“A number of other drug companies paid over a billion dollars in punitive settlements over that same span. Below is a list of seven of the most expensive ones. That list doesn’t include the dozens of other Big Pharma corporations that paid out lesser, “just-the-cost-of-doing-business” payments that were only in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

  • GlaxoSmithKline: $7.63 billion
  • Pfizer: $3.46 billion
  • Johnson & Johnson: $2.82 billion
  • Abbott: $1.82 billion
  • Eli Lilly: $1.71 billion
  • Teva: $1.47 billion
  • Novartis: $1.23 billion”

____________________________________________________________________________

One of the oldest and biggest pharmaceutical companies on the planet is New Jersey-based Merck & Company (known outside the US as MSD – short for Merck, Sharp & Dohme). Merck was once a German company (now international, with its head offices in the US) that is, technically speaking, 350 years old this year. Given its recent stock prices, it is having a happy birthday year ($55 per share last spring and $80 per share a few days ago).

Merck & Co was born when Friedrich Jacob Merck bought a small apothecary shop in Darmstadt, Germany in 1668. Friedrich’s shop sold the usual items of his era, including tobacco, wine, spices, herbal “remedies” and any other products that his customers regarded as potentially healing agents. Apothecaries were the precursors of modern-day pharmacies. The owners frequently dispensed medical advice, although they were not licensed physicians.

In 1827 – a century and a half later – one of Friedrich’s heirs, Heinrich Emmanuel Merck, converted the pharmacy into a drug manufacturing facility – and the rest, as they say, is history. Among the first products that Merck manufactured and marketed were the highly-addictive substances cocaine and the two early natural opioids, morphine and codeine. They were all over-the-counter drugs at the time.

Interestingly, Viennese psychiatrist Sigmoid Freud had a Merck connection in that he helped promote their cocaine drug when Sigmund discovered that the drug was a powerful “anti-depressant” (or at least it made him “euphoric” or capable of causing a predictable drug-induced mania). Freud’s support lasted only until the day he realized how addictive Merck’s cocaine turned out to be. More

     How did Silicon Valley and those rogue Hi Tech giants, Google, Facebook, Twitter, and You Tube become a De Facto media platform, yet, unrelated to news outlets which are either television, radio or
newspaper publishers?  Very interesting.

     The back story begins with those decades past and present college curriculum and indoctrination that has greatly affected many people including the CEO’s that are presently sitting  in Silicon Valley blocking or banning freedom of the press and the freedom of speech that actually began taking shape a few weeks after the 2016 Presidential election.  Yes, it is all documented.  The idea of targeting key words and phrases through censorship was born.  Major computer algorithm changes which were decided upon by top “biased” management teams were then put into place, thereby corrupting a fair and balanced online platform of ideas and ideologies that had previously been the cornerstone of free thought within the American Republic from its very Constitutional beginning.

      With that said, and the present fallout, the freedom of information has surely become compromised to the 10th degree and is being manipulated in a treasonous manner by the private sector, namely Silicon Valley.  Is this not what a tyrant does when they come into office in a hostile takeover?  They will stop at nothing to achieve their goals while lording their oppressive agenda over their adversaries. California Gov. Signs Bill Forcing Residents To Pay Wildfire Litigation Damages

PrepForThat

California officials have now confirmed that 59 people have died as a result of the devastating Southern California Woosley fire. Officials say the Northern California Camp Fire has now destroyed at least 9,000 homes and forced 52,000 residents to evacuate.

As bad as this is, for Californians, things are going to get worse following a deceptive move by its governor, Jerry Brown.

Camp Fire Potentially Started By Pacific Gas and Electric Company

California’s resources are not only battling several major destructive fires, but they are also intensely investigating potential causes.

Yesterday, I wrote up an article on potential cause of the Woosely fire, which California denies. Wildfire blame in California can mean billions in litigation. The state doesn’t want to get it wrong, or misplace blame, or even, honestly apply blame. It’s a mess.

Corporations should not be involved in any aspect of the democratic process. They should not be involved in education at any level. They should not be involved in health care. They should not be involved in the administration of social services. They should not be involved in the administration of justice. WHY? Because they are incapable of understanding and conforming to higher human aspirations and needs. Better to leave these areas to government, and to non-profit organizations, both of which are administered by humans in the human interest…The corporation is sociopathic in its disregard for human goals and values; in fact its behavior fits the World Health Organization’s criteria for defining the psychopath.” Wade Rowland, author of Greed, Inc. Why Corporations Rule the World.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have a heavily-underlined book in my library that was written in 1995 by David C. Korten. It was titled “When Corporations Rule the World”. Around the time that the book was published, I was a small-town family practitioner still trying mightily to follow the Hippocratic Oath, which I took back in 1968. I was also still trying to honor my patient’s inalienable right to be fully informed about the risks and benefits of any drug I was considering prescribing before he or she consented to the prescription. It was time-consuming to follow those ethical principles.
Korten followed up with a sequel in 1999. He titled that book “The Post-Corporate World”. Here is an excerpt from page 7 of the sequel that nicely summarizes what he was warning his readers about:
“’When Corporations Rule the World’ told the new story as I had come to understand it:
Our relentless pursuit of economic growth is accelerating the break-down of the planet’s life support systems, intensifying resource competition, widening the gap between rich and poor, and undermining the values and relationships of family and community. The growing concentration of power in global corporations and financial institutions is stripping governments – democratic and otherwise – of their ability to set economic, social, and environmental priorities in the larger common interest.
“For those of us looking at the larger picture, it appears that President Trump’s announcement that we would be withdrawing from Syria was met with massive resistance by the deep state and the war-hawks who go to bed each night resting assured that neither they, nor any of their immediate or extended families or friends, will ever be sent into another hell created by the military industrial complex along with their other close friends in government.
This situation is about far more than some illicit affair with a porn star.”
In my Opinion:
America has witnessed a coup against the President of the United States. Whether you like Trump or you don’t….this should have all of us on high alert.
Having dared to suggest that we would withdraw very soon from Syria, the war hawks (both on the left & right), neo-cons and neo-liberals along with deep state actors moved swiftly to neutralize not only the office, but the president himself. And don’t kid yourself, there is no difference in these supposed political party’s who live a life of largess on our dime. What a Typical Oil Pipeline Spill/Rupture in Dakota Farmland Looks Like
2 Comments
By Gary G. Kohls, MD
Two views of what a typical oil pipeline “spill” on dry land looks like after crews begin digging up part of the most superficial layer of the oil-saturated, totally irremediable, contaminated wheat field soil that was in the vicinity of the pipeline rupture.
The photos above were taken soon after the 2013 underground rupture of a Tesoro pipeline near Tioga, North Dakota. Farmer Steve Jensen, who had been paid by the pipeline company in exchange for permission to bury the pipe across his farmland, discovered the massive oil contamination of his wheat field while harvesting his crops on Sept 29, 2013. Jensen had to notify the company of its pipeline failure, because Tesoro’s state-of-the-art monitoring technology failed to detect the spill.
Tesoro initially grossly underestimated the significance of the spill (as is typical of all oil companies), claiming the volume of the spill, was 750 barrels. It was soon forced to publish a new figure of 20,600 barrels (which was likely also an under-estimate).
20,600 barrels is equivalent to 865,200 gallons, making the Tesoro pipeline oil spill the largest of the many spills that have plagued North Dakota since the Bakken Formation’s massive oil reserves were opened up to oil exploitation over the last two decades. The Bakken Formation, incidentally, was named after Henry Bakken a Tioga, North Dakota-area farmer where the massive oil deposit was originally discovered in 1951.
Tesoro re-named itself Andeavor a few months ago after it completed the acquisition of an oil refinery company. (Andeavor is currently valued at $105 per share on the New York Stock Exchange). The company is based in San Antonio, Texas,
The Political Economy Research Institute identified Tesoro as the 24th-largest corporate producer of air pollution in the US, releasing roughly 3,740,000 lbs of toxic chemicals annually. Major pollutants emitted annually by the corporation include more than 400,000 lbs of sulfuric acid. The EPA also named Tesoro a responsible party for four Superfund toxic waste sites.
Arizona: ACC Gives APS a Rate Increase on smart Meters
Information & Perspective by Warren Woodward
Sedona, Arizona ~ August 17, 2017
          At their Open Meeting last Tuesday, the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) commissioners voted 4 to 1 to give APS a rate increase of about 4.5% on residential customers’ rates. Since all the commissioners were elected with major APS money spent on their campaigns, their votes were to be expected.
         The lone No vote was from commissioner Robert Burns. Burns has been in dispute, and Superior Court, with the other commissioners and APS over alleged money spent by APS two elections ago to get commissioners Little & Forese elected. As a commissioner, Burns has the legal right to examine APS’s books but he has been stonewalled for about 2 years.
         Burns contends that because of APS’s influence, those two commissioners should have recused themselves. He wants the rate case done over. The issue hangs with the Superior Court judge hearing the case. You can read more about that here: http://azcapitoltimes.com/news/2017/08/15/arizona-corporation-commission-approves-aps-rate-hike/
Fatally Flawed Justice System: The Monopoly of the Corporate BAR Associations
“There is absolutely nothing in the Constitution for the United States authorizing, or otherwise directing the creation of these self protecting unions that have monopolized our judicial system at every level and use that monopoly to profit at the public’s expense. And, there is nothing authorizing the incorporation of these specialized unions or of the Supreme Court itself. Yet here we are in the grips of these corporate entities who have monopolized the very judicial system meant to protect America from just such things.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In every state and on the Federal level, the BAR Associations have established a monopoly on our courts and our so-called judicial system. The existing Sherman Act: the Clayton Act and FTC Act only become active when the monopolized systems that have been established harm consumers. I can think of no other more harmful monopoly to the American public overall, than what passes for the judicial system in America and its associated BAR unions that not ony control and own our courts, but also profit mightily from doing so. The law is what they say it is regardless of what the law might actually be.

The Sherman Act outlaws “every contract, combination, or conspiracy in restraint of trade,” and any “monopolization, attempted monopolization, or conspiracy or combination to monopolize.” Long ago, the Supreme Court decided that the Sherman Act does not prohibit every restraint of trade, only those that are unreasonable. Obviously, the Supreme Court has decided that the monopolies that exist in our courts are not unreasonable. Especially since they too, participate in that monopoly.

Q: Do you believe the monopolies on our courts at every level via so-called BAR Associations are unreasonable?

When individuals go to all the expense and time of acquiring a degree in law, why should they then be required to pass some contrived test, many times at great expense, to acquire a union card (The BARS are UNIONS) permitting them to work in the field they trained in or to practice their trade in any court room in this country? No union card? No access to the courts. Didn’t pay your BAR union dues for access to the courts they monopolize? Too bad for you!

Even the Supreme Court of the United States has established itself as its own BAR. To be heard in this highly politicized “court”, you must be a member in good standing for four years in another BAR union before you can apply to appear in their closed union shop called the Supreme Court. More

Everything we do is said to be a “contract”, from simply buying a cup of coffee to purchasing access to the federal government. It is necessary to view every possible action we may undertake in our daily lives as being some form of contract, no matter how idiotic the example, in order for us to accept that our government itself is one big corporate contracting monstrosity that has less to do with governing the country constitutionally, than it does as a fiduciary profiteer. Key to that profiteering is privatization of what are to be tasks and services performed by the government. Simply put, creating and/or empowering a contracting corporation to perform tasks and services the government is prohibited from engaging in outside of the the enumerated powers in the Constitution.

It only gets worse from here

Having done several Whistleblower’s episodes on my blogtalk channel “TS Radio”, the news that Sonny Perdue will most likely be the new Secretary of Agriculture does not come as good news.  Perdue, who is funded and backed by major bio-piracy companies most notably Monsanto, and others who are in the process of overtaking agriculture for profit, should come as no surprise. Jerry Day of FreedomTaker.com has produced an exceptional new video wherein he explains in detail what Smart Meters and Vaccinations have in common.  It’s called “Conditional Acceptance,” a term and a legal tactic whereby you can refuse anyone who pressures you to sign either an “opt-out” agreement for a Smart Meter or demands you to accept a vaccination.

Opt-out contracts are ones big corporations give you when you refuse corporate offers.  Jerry explains what he calls “highway robbery” in this video:

12-9-2015 11-02-00 AMDoes anyone remember that shortly after 9/11 President George W. Bush sent special adviser Karl Rove to Hollywood to meet with 40 movie industry executives in order to promote and legitimize war? Yes, it was a horrible propaganda agenda but it wasn’t called that.

To this day, the elite’s of America and the world are still on that same mission. If it isn’t the Arab/Islam world of Egypt, or Libya, Afghanistan and Syria that the elite powers may stir up, there is now saber rattling going on with Russia. And our own mainstream media will be there to add fuel to the fire. What is it about violence that is so attractive? For one thing, it sells newspapers, TV spots and acts as a conditioning factor to where certain people will feed upon it and want to see action.

Block The Alberta Clipper Pipeline Scheme

nrdc-2x

Canadian pipeline company Enbridge is pushing an illegal plan to nearly double the amount of dirty tar sands oil it pumps into the U.S. through its Alberta Clipper pipeline, bypassing the environmental review required by law — and the State Department is prepared to allow this disastrous plan to move forward. Last November, we convinced President Obama to reject the climate-wrecking Keystone XL pipeline. Now let’s stand together and demand that Secretary of State John Kerry put the American people before polluters and block the reckless Alberta Clipper pipeline scheme!

Take Action

Make Your Voice Heard!

Your message will be sent to:

  • Secretary of State John F. Kerry

Subject line:

Stop Enbridge’s Alberta Clipper tar sands scheme

Dear Secretary Kerry:

(Consider adding your own thoughts — personalized messages are especially effective.)

I am appalled that your State Department is prepared to allow Enbridge to move forward with its plan to nearly double the capacity of its Alberta Clipper tar sands oil pipeline while bypassing the legally required environmental review. This project would bring even more tar sands oil, one of the dirtiest fuels on the planet, into the United States, increasing the dangerous carbon pollution that drives climate change and worsening our dependence on fossil fuels. And allowing it to move forward without the proper review is illegal. Please conduct a lawful and complete review of the proposed Alberta Clipper pipeline expansion and its far-reaching impacts on our environment, our climate and our health. Once you do so, I’m confident you will have no choice but to reject it. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Consider Voting for Candidates who are Listening to Bernie Sanders and Adhering to Green Party Ethical Values

“Those who take oaths to politically powerful secret societies cannot be depended on for loyalty to a democratic republic.” — John Quincy Adams

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Most of us Americans have our own simplistic methods of evaluating candidates for political office during our uniquely perpetual, very costly, time-consuming, energy-wasting and exhausting campaign seasons. Increasingly, state and national politicians are out of reach for most voters. Local candidates for mayor, city council and school board are increasingly the only politicians that can be personally approached by average voters.
1620385_620302828018437_1618545578_nWe lowly cash-strapped voters know that we have no real influence on the secretive, unelected elites who essentially control the planet’s resources and our nation’s and state’s elected officials and economies. Wealthy and powerful entities, with the willing and eager help of the corporate-controlled media machine, the military elites and our increasingly militarized police (all three of whom serve the corporations and the wealthy elites – and not the poor) are the ones that know how to distort domestic and foreign policy, even to the point of fomenting another profitable – but very “patriotic” war fever – knowing that they and their partners in the military industrial complex will turn a profit from yet another military misadventure.
Polluting Mining Corporations like PolyMet and Glencore Meet the Definition of Sociopath
new-logo25kohlsGary G. Kohls, MD
“Slavery is the legal fiction that a person is property. Corporate personhood is the legal fiction that property is a person.” — Anonymous
________________________________________________________
In 2010 the pro-corporate Roberts’ 5/4 Supreme Court decided, in the Citizens United vs. Federal Election Commission ruling that favored right-wing multimillionaire businessmen and amoral multinational corporations by making it easier for them to steal US elections by allowing unlimited, anonymous monetary contributions to political campaigns, political action groups and politicians.
This ruling, called by many fair-minded observers to be the worst Supreme Court decision of the past century, has emboldened the already powerful and corruptible corporations (that already have dominion over the economy) to now also be able to thoroughly bribe any number of favored pro-corporate politicians to do their will but also to more effectively brain-wash voters through multi-million dollar ad campaigns (that can’t be effectively countered by small contributions from average voters).
The US Supreme Court has thus made legal the absurd notion that inanimate paper corporations like PolyMet and Glencore should have the same privileges (but not the same responsibilities) as living humans. Both of those out-or-state companies are potential despoilers of northern Minnesota’s irreplaceable wetlands, rivers, aquifers and aboriginal land and water rights.
After the ruling came down, there was only a brief bit of outrage from the so-called national and state leadership of our essentially “one-party system” (one-party, that is, when it comes to the Republican and Democratic Party’s corporate and militarist agendas).
What Should be the Punishment for Corporate Entities That Plunder, Rape and Pillage?
But if corporate America has new privileges, shouldn’t it be honoring the responsibilities of personhood as well?
Any thinking person would agree that if any entity enjoys the privileges of a human, it should also bear the same responsibilities as humans. Thus it should incur the same punishments as individuals do when it hurts people, commit crimes, poisons the water, fouls the air or rapes the land?
One of the rare victories against corporate giants occurred at Shapleigh, Maine, when that town managed to protect their water rights from the insatiable water-extracting corporate giant Nestle. (See video and more information on this episode at: (http://www.afterdowningstreet.org/node/40335).
Nestle, one of many multinational corporate exploiters around the world, has no allegiance to any state or municipality or any location where it tries to extract water or minerals that never were theirs to begin with. But when the minerals are gone and the water has been used up or polluted, Nestle, PolyMet, Glencore, et al  will be long gone, which has always been the case of giant resource-extractors and polluters like Exxon/Mobil, Shell, Chevron, British Petroleum, Halliburton, Deep Water Horizon, Coca-Cola, Perrier or whatever other corporate intruder that covets the people’s resources.
And who benefits? Why, of course, the major benefactors will be faceless, out-or-state investors, corporate shareholders and CEOs living and doing business at some luxurious corporate headquarters, none of whom will have to live with the poisoned environment that they will be leaving behind.
Shapleigh, Maine’s  small victory against injustice should inspire the rest of us to do what must be done if America’s fragile democracy is ever to thrive again. The outrageous Citizens United decision must be overturned with a constitutional amendment. (See www.movetoamend.org for more.) The future of the nation, our children, the planet, our drinking water, natural habitat and aboriginal rights are all at stake.
Exploitive corporations don’t really seem to care.
The Trans-Pacific Partnership, Slavery, the AME Massacre and the Emancipation Proclamation:
Duty to Warn
If the TPP had been the Law of the Land for the past 150 years, Slavery Would Still be Legal
“The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) – a global corporate noose around U.S. local, state, and national sovereignty – narrowly passed a major procedural hurdle in the Congress by gaining “fast track” status. … “fast track” is a euphemism for your members of Congress … handcuffing themselves, so as to prevent any amendments or adequate debate before the final vote … TPP is another euphemism that is used to avoid the word “treaty”, which would require ratification by two-thirds of the Senate.”
“The corporate-indentured politicians keep calling this gigantic treaty with thirty chapters, of which only five relate to traditional trade issues…. The other twenty-five chapters, if passed as they are, will have serious impacts on your livelihoods as workers and consumers, as well as your air, water, food, and medicines.
“Only corporations … are entitled to sue the U.S. government for any alleged harm to their profits from health, safety or other regulations in secret tribunals that operate as offshore kangaroo courts, not in open courts.” Ralph Nader
Last week was a landmark week for President Obama and his administration. It was so important that last Friday’s PBS Washington Week program couldn’t find room for the slightest mention of what is arguably the most disastrous and most secretive anti-democracy, pro-corporate legislation since the Patriot Act and Homeland Security Acts were passed at the beginning of the late, lamented Cheney/Bush administration. Similarly – and astonishingly – nobody in the 2001 Congress actually read either of those bills (except for Ohio Democratic House member Dennis Kucinich); and, soberingly, the same is true of the Trans-Pacific Partnership’s fast-track legislation. So congressional members are relying on what the lobbyists are telling them about TPP and again, shamefully voting on something that they haven’t read!
Washington Week only had space for the Supreme Court’s legalizing same-gender marriage, Obamacare, the massacre in Charleston and Obama’s powerful eulogy there.
As important and newsworthy as those items were, not a word was mentioned about what might have been the most important and onerous development in DC, the progress of the secretive, anti-democratic, pro-corporate legislation, the TPP.
Fair-minded, critical thinking, wide-awake persons who are capable of changing their minds when new information is revealed to them (AKA, resistance to cognitive dissonance) have come to understand that anything that happens in the ‘hallowed halls” of the Global Corporate Congress in DC is bad news for democracy, the middle class, the working class and the poor and good news for democracy’s amoral enemies in the multinational corporations, the Pentagon, the war industries and the national security state apparatus..
Any time that the “dirty trick” gridlock masters in the GOP (exemplified so well by the evil visages of Republican House Majority Leader John Boehner, Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and 1840s-era Senator John C. Calhoun) can get the equally co-opted, pro-corporate Democrats to agree to any major legislation (such as going to war), you will know that workers, consumers and democracy – are all going to get screwed.
The euphemistically-labeled TPP is a late Obama administration payback to investors (AKA “return on investment”). Obama’s campaigns were heavily funded by Wall Street, Big Banks, Big Pharma and multinational corporations, and it is now payback time.
The Cynics View of Corporate-controlled American Elections
Corporations fully expect that their campaign “contributions” (AKA “bribes”) will lead to some return on that investment. And, in order to hedge their bets, they willingly spend money on the campaigns of both NeoConservatives in the GOP and NeoLiberals in the Democratic Party that their lobbyists and shills (including the US Chamber of Commerce) have previously vetted/screened and then approved as fit candidates that will support the agendas of their paymasters. These anointed candidates – that only represent the far right wings or center-right wings of our One Party system – are the ones that we bamboozled voters will be fooled into voting for (usually against our best interests) when the next billion-dollar election cycle mercifully comes to an end.
The choices we voters are given when political campaigns come around have been getting more and more frustrating for thinking voters since the paranoid and hysterical pro-war, pseudo-patriotism emerged after 9/11/01.
That hysteria was orchestrated, in part, by the NeoConservative Bush administration insiders that were in the secretive Project for the New American Century (for more on the PNAC). It is obvious to many scholars and investigative journalists that the PNAC played a major role in orchestrating the catastrophic events of 9/11/01. The PNAC agenda was furthered – and actually cemented into place – by the anti-democratic Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Act, not to mention the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision (see http://movetoamend.org/).
The TPP may be the End Game for the Global Corporate Elite
TPP, which has the bipartisan support of both the bribed pro-corporate Republicans and the bribed pro-corporate Democrats, probably represents the final solution to the global capitalist’s problem of providing stock market growth (and stability), the continuation of the privatization of public investments, the continued predatory lending system that destabilizes nation-states, the despoiling of the finite resources of our already corporate-poisoned planet, and the comforting march onward of the meaningless Dow-Jones Industrial Averages (only 30 companies involved).
The amoral and deceptive Wall Street and War Street hucksters will be laughing all the way to their off shore tax evading banks when TPP passes. Obama may not be fully aware of what he is a part of.
I can no longer trust anything that happens in the “hallowed halls” of the Global Corporate Congress which seems to have the blessings of both the “dirty trick” gridlock masters in the GOP and the often co-opted and the apparently well-meaning but sometimes naïve Democrats. The ruling elites, their amoral lobbyists, their non-human, sociopathic corporations and their bought-and-paid-for lapdog politicians operate as if they have no shame; they know who they are and it is our patriotic duty to identify them and put them out of office.
TPP Represents the Anti-democracy End-game of the Global Elite
It looks like the TPP is the economic end-game that the corporatists and corrupt capitalists have been played so cunningly, with behind the scenes support from their transnational corporate partners in the once-honorable 1) US Chamber of Commerce ,
2) the Koch brothers,
3) the American Legislative Exchange Council ,
4) large majorities in America’s Global Corporate Congress and
5) most every brain-washed (or brain-dead) greedy private “free market” investor with a 401K.
The desperate little guy investor with his mutual fund-loaded stock portfolios and 401Ks can be justifiably accused of being accomplices in the corporate exploitation – and the inevitable despoiling – of the air, water, soil and food (AKA “man-made” climate change) and the militarization of the upper atmosphere by the Pentagon and the lethal weapons industries.
Of course, these investors, suppressing the ethics they learned in Sunday School, know that their portfolios may temporarily increase in value after TPP gets passed, but they may not know that they and their children will likely be permanently disadvantaged when their loved ones lose their jobs or see wages and benefits disappear in the race-to-the-bottom competition from exploitive foreign competitors – all for the long-term benefit of the cunning multinational TPP manipulators at the top.
The TPP vs the Emancipation Proclamation? Democracy Loses
And here is where the “un-mentioned” juxtapositions of last week’s major events come in.
Obama scored a lot of points with his pro-democracy, anti-racist, anti-discrimination rhetoric last week, but he should have lost many of those points by simultaneously pushing the bi-partisan and radically anti-democracy TPP. Time will tell. One wonders if his speechwriters saw the irony.
Oboma’s speechwriters certainly haven’t pointed out the obviously evil Dick Cheney-style dark side of the TPP’s union-busting, anti-worker, anti-jobs, pro-corporate, pro-BigPharma, pro-Wall Street agenda. It is a virtual certainty that Obama has never read all of the secret 30 chapters in the treaty agreement. No one in Congress has been even allowed to adequately study all the secret provisions.
After considering all of the above, I realized that if the TPP had been the law of the land before Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation, the tyrannical, apartheid-style (AKA, fascist) plantation slavery system in the South could have successfully sued the Lincoln administration and then fined the government hefty amounts of money for harming its economic bottom line and its future profits if it ever tried to end the highly lucrative business.
It would have been a no-brainer for the shyster lawyers (“shyster” is the term my father always used when referred to corporate lawyers) employed by any corporate-funded New World Order courts like the TPP, NAFTA or World Trade Organization to prove that the bottom lines of any slave holding (or sweat shop, or unionized) company would have been negatively affected if their profit-based system was outlawed. This would have been especially true if the proclamation had been issued by a despised, intellectual, educated, “liberal”, “nigger-loving”, uppity president who was also an eloquent speaker.
If the slaves were set free, allowed to vote or allowed to have their own churches, what would happen to the profits of pro-slavery, racist tyrants like South Carolina’s US Senator John C. Calhoun (see below)?
Any corporate-controlled court of law that was approved by the anti-democratic TPP rules would easily see that future profits of the plantation system would be severely and negatively impacted by the Emancipation Proclamation, and thus the humanitarian aims of president Lincoln would have been declared illegal and contrary to the treaty. The US government would have lost the case or more likely, the case would have been thrown out of court before the Star Chamber tribunal even reached for its gavel.
URGENT: A Shot at Saving American Manufacturing Jobs
You wouldn’t wait until you needed life support to go to the doctor, right?
Well, that’s what it’s like for U.S. manufacturers and workers facing trade cheating from countries like China. They have to wait until factories close and thousands of people lose their jobs before they can even begin to fight back.
It makes no sense. But there’s something you can do right now to help.
A new, bipartisan bill would level the playing field for U.S. workers by strengthening our enforcement laws against unfair trade practices. Please tell your Member of Congress to cosponsor this legislation.
You and I have worked together in recent months to fight for U.S. jobs and against unfair trade. The introduction of the American Trade Enforcement Effectiveness Act shows we’re making progress.
Thousands of American workers have faced layoffs this year because there’s been a surge in trade cheating and imports from countries like China. The new bill seeks to make it easier for companies and workers to seek remedy against trade cheating like this — before the layoffs and plant closures begin.
With Congress currently debating fast-track trade legislation and new free trade agreements, now is the time for action. Join me in telling Congress to stand up for American workers and manufacturers.
Thanks,
scottPaul
