This is not for those of you who cling to the false left vs. right political paradigm. If you are one of those people who cannot grasp the fact that labeling yourself as either of these, is only a disservice to yourself, you probably aren’t going to like this a bit.

With that said………

We have a president who is openly attempting to rig or disrupt the coming election. So desperate to win, his efforts to collapse the US Postal service go unchallenged by Republicans across the board out of fear that mail in voting might cost him the election. Now he claims he should get an additional third term.

During a rally in Wisconsin, the president lied to a cheering crowd, telling them that he deserves eight additional years in office because, he falsely claimed, his campaign was spied on in 2016 — an assertion his own FBI refuted in a detailed report.

President Donald Trump refused to commit to accepting the results of the 2020 election and ensuring a peaceful transition of power in an interview with “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace aired Sunday.

This man/child will never leave the office willingly. Having been caught in so many exaggerations and outright lies, you would think he would be grateful for the opportunity to exit gracefully. But there is nothing graceful or refined about this man. He is amoral, has no boundaries, is a pathological liar, is a serial adulterer, and refuses to take responsibility for anything. His own family says he has no principles, and cannot be trusted.

Maryanne Trump Barry, President Trump’s older sister, said her brother “has no principles” in secretly recorded audio obtained by The Washington Post.

Don’t take any of this as some kind of endorsement of Hillary Clinton. I can not begin to imagine the hell that would have rained down on us had she won the presidency. She is in my opinion, one of the most dangerous, deceitful, dishonest, manipulative politician’s out there.

But this is my point: When we accept these obvious duds, these unqualified, dishonorable, dishonest, individuals as the only possible options for the highest office in this country, who can we possibly blame but ourselves? These two were the best we had? This was the best of either wing of the vulture called government?

So many people are reporting that they are not voting this year. I suggest that this is the only possible way we can voice our rejection of two of the worst possible candidates. I personally refuse to be put in the position of having to choose between two old men, one of whom wants desperately to wear a crown, and the other not even sure of where he is.

We are played by either side alternately, in a good cop/bad cop routine. The joke is on us, the public. Especially those clinging to these fake ideologies that mean nothing in reality. We label ourselves, box our selves in and viciously, verbally assault anyone who dares to dispute our harbored beliefs. You may all do as you like, but I refuse to play along any longer.

Remember this: Patriotism is not the worship of a president or other politician. Patriotism is supporting, protecting and valuing our country.

I am a political atheist. My country comes first before any political posturing.

How some “dead”people vote

The issue of dead people voting arises in every election.  While there are many possible ways in which this can occur, including the simple failure of removing those names from voter rolls, there is one area which may seem minor compared to others.  Minor unless you consider there are currently an estimated 1.4 million people under guardianship currently in the US, most of whom have had all their rights stripped from them except the right to vote.  And another 1.4 million in hospice care marked for preemptive death (as of 2106) the ever expanding pool of dead or soon to be dead voters is quite large and continually expanding.

Do not mistakenly believe that these guardianized individuals or those in Hospice are going to actually be allowed to vote.

The right to vote

After every national election, the screeching from either party concerning the reasons they lost always include the claim that dead people were somehow voting. The fact is, votes are cast in the names of people who have actually died, but the question is: how are they voting from the grave?

Dead people voting is a type of election fraud that occurs when the name of a deceased person remains on a state’s official list of registered voters and a living person fraudulently casts a ballot in that name. Those names are generally kept on the voter rolls by the predators failure to report and have them removed or election officials unable or unwilling to check on the validity of the name.

I don’t know what it will take. I have no idea how many times and in how many ways the American public has to be conned, scammed, manipulated, and repeatedly played as fools before they catch on to the plan.

Still clinging to that “liberal spin” BS? Still believe that in the halls of congress, the government at all levels, that some right or left wing club is challenging and fighting the other wing? Did it ever occur to any of you true believers that if any of what you are hanging onto as the literal truth is, actually not the truth?  Then why is there no corresponding reaction of any kind? Other than a few camera shots, a few canned words of condemnation and then, dinner and drinks all around.

If there is a battle in government it has nothing to do with some fictional political party or belief. It is always centered around money; who has it, who wants it and who will profit from the current fray. And at the end of the day, who will manage to increase their power enough to exempt themselves from what ever nefarious plan they have set into motion.

Make America Great Again?? How about we MAKE AMERICA FREE AGAIN?  How about that? How about we get rid of the Patriot Acts, TSA, and several of the other federal assaults on liberty that have driven us to the point of distraction. You cannot find one person who believes the conspiracy theory put out by the government to explain 9/11. Why are we tolerating the assault on America that was the planned end run to that horrible day? 3,000 people died so that the rest of us could cower in fear and roll over?

The public, continually assaulted with jingoism has latched onto the notion of “liberal spin”. Remember the “no spin zone”? In my humble opinion Bill O’Reily spun more crap than any other combination of paid actors acting as anchor on a news station. But he was venomous. He had a particular knack for zeroing in on the worst in us and spinning that into some nightmare scenario that only he could save us from. If only we would listen to him. Please….

If you are more inclined to believe there is a liberal spin, there is always Rachel Maddow and others like her. Their job is to convince you that all would be well in the world if only we could gt rid of those on the fictional right. She mocks, cons, and laughs her way through all kinds of non-issues created specifically for public consumption.

Don’t like what the government is doing to us at any given time? Well, blame that on the liberals. No wait….blame it on conservatives. No…No wait a minute….blame it on some leader in a foreign country that has nothing to do with us and then try to tie your fictional political opponent to them. Next, prime the public! Sell it to those who think they are on the left as one thing, and to those who think they are on the right as something else. After all, the American public is so dumbed down, so brainwashed and embedded in the right vs left war, they will buy anything you tell them. Meanwhile, whatever is actually planned that will adversely affect you and yours will move ahead at lightening speed while you remain diverted with  something that usually is a fabrication created just for that purpose.

In the end it is us (the public) vs them (the government) and us losing in a major way. Still want to fight over who is liberal and who is conservative? Carry on fool!

Establishment Right and Left Call for COINTELPRO 2.O

Both heads of the two-headed establishment political hydra want to resurrect COINTELPRO, the FBI’s illegal subversion program, in response to speech they oppose and want outlawed.

In August, The Verge (owned by liberal Vox Media and founded by former CIA asset Markos Moulitsas) and the National Review, the failing neocon journal edited by Rich Lowry, posted articles on how to best undermine the First Amendment right of millions of Americans.

The Verge cites a recent paper by N. F. Johnson and a collection of academics. Johnson and his fellows compare online “hate and extremist narratives” to a chemistry project.

“We observe the current hate network rapidly rewiring and self-repairing at the micro level when attacked, in a way that mimics the formation of covalent bonds in chemistry,” they write.

Because of this dynamic, the authors suggest fighting “hate” (unacceptable political speech) by inserting a “population in a pre-engineered format” within a targeted “hate-cluster” and destroying it from within.

This is a tactic taken right out of the COINTELPRO handbook.

The bread and butter of COINTELPRO operations was the use of wiretaps, anonymous letters, informants, and other means of subterfuge to, in the Bureau’s own words, foster factionalism and create suspicion within groups, bring individuals into disrepute before the American public, and create disruption and discord among such groups and movements in order to destroy the Left, or at least render it useless.

OPINION:

I cannot believe, after successive presidency’s reflecting both supposed political ideologies and party’s, that anyone is still buying into the right vs. left, Republican vs. Democrat, liberal vs. conservative, BS. And it is BS.

Playing on, at times, extreme religious beliefs, or manufactured propaganda meant to frighten you in to accepting another war of aggression, or professed moral righteousness, we are encouraged to vote for one party or the other. Along with the tossing about of the words socialism and communism and the chronic hysteria that accompanies those words, many of us are convinced that our votes really matter or that things will actually change as a result. Actually, they do change…they always get worse. Makes no difference which wing of the this one party system you vote for.

Combining church and state?

We have a 1^st amendment prohibiting that and for good reason.

Let me say that the lunacy emanating from churches in today’s world is enough to make a rational, reasonable man’s head explode. When I see blanket statements such as “Democrats hate Conservatives and Christians”…Really?? Really America? How many of you actually believe that? Or how about, “conservatives hate Democrats and they are satanists?” Are you really that easily manipulated and stupid? But if you need one, the barrage of idiotic religious drivel from either side of this combination of church and state, or, the lack thereof, is really obnoxious.

While President Trump called for unity and cooperation in his 2019 State of the Union address, the views of the audience showed a sharp and bitter divide, especially on issues affecting the health and medical care of Americans. Most striking was the solid bloc of Democrat “suffragettes” clad in white like Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

When the President congratulated women for their increased representation in Congress, this bloc rose to its feet to applaud uproariously, as if the home team had scored the winning touchdown in the high-school championship game.

Otherwise, the women mostly sat sullenly with arms crossed, or even displayed overt and in-your-face derision. They sat, as did Speaker Pelosi, while Sen. Bernie Sanders scowled eloquently, during the standing ovation for the President’s promise that America would never become a socialist country. The President had just observed that Venezuela, once the richest country in South America, had become a pit of abject poverty and despair under socialist rule. No sign of compassion have Democratic Socialists shown for women rooting through trash seeking food for their children, and no trace of concern about the refugees fleeing into Colombia and other neighboring countries.

These congresswomen in white are blind to the White Ladies of Havana, Cuba, who march in silence every Sunday after church to protest the communist regime on behalf of their fathers, brothers, and sons who were jailed and tortured by the Castro brothers’ totalitarian regime for their anti-communist beliefs. A naturalized American citizen (a legal immigrant) who grew up in Communist Romania, Ileana Johnson, is dismayed that Americans have elected socialists to rule over our lives. Bernie Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez’s mentor, has praised Fidel Castro for educating and bringing healthcare to Cuban children, and “totally transforming” society.

After the election, sappy statements on social media exhort us to bow down in praise that the first minority this or the first woman that was elected and how this means we have catapulted our nation out of the Neanderthal era. Funny how no one mentions Young Kim’s victory – but she is not a Democrat so it does not count. It’s funny how no one cheered women of color when Condoleeza Rice was secretary of state. Instead she was called an Aunt Jemima and a house nigga’ in a nationally syndicated cartoon.

Now it is acceptable to call young conservative black students enjoying their visit with President Trump “N-words in Maggot hats” and ridicule them as “props.”  What racist insults! Undoubtedly, the prominently positioned little black boy at the Affordable Care Act signing just happened to be strolling outside the White House East Room.

What is it those in this, supposedly spontaneous, caravan think it is that they are going to find here? Peace? Security? Prosperity? We don’t have any! We are either unable or unwilling to take care of our own people….what is it you think we are going to do for you? Homelessness here in the US is reaching critical mass. Violence perpetrated by law enforcement is epidemic. Our children are taken by CPS and used for profit, and they will do the same to yours. Our elderly are being robbed by probate tribunal actors, and then euthanized in hospice or in hospitals once all their property has been transferred to their new owners. And those of us caught in the middle can barely make ends meet. What is it you believe you are going to find here that you weren’t already dealing with in the country you are leaving behind? Drugs? We have pharmaceuticals for that that are far more lethal than any street drugs and doctors more than willing to get you addicted. Violence? You can get shot to death by police here for having a broken tail light. We can’t board a plane without specially marked ID’s or a passport.

But the bigger question looms: What made all of you in the caravan think or believe you had the right to storm the US demanding entry, even if by illegal means?

As of late there has been a lot of pointing the finger and talk in the mainstream news about “white supremacy.” What we have here is one more bone thrown out for the masses to chew on, all the while, politics becomes business as usual. American’s elected a black President for the first time in their history and riots did not happen. Why are there riots now? Did the previous administration and the mainstream news lay a foundation that was a political agenda which was meant to divide the nation and pit various races against one another for a purpose driven endgame?

White supremacy and its roots have been around for centuries but it is now part of the NWO establishment.. Some fifty or so years ago the establishment was only considered to be those who were pro business, stock market players and high rollers that lived in uptown gated white communities, and were suave country club golfers, drinkers and American flag wavers.

After a lifetime of voting with Democrats, this year I marked the box for a Republican. I think it says something about how politicians view the general public when someone with your history can even campaign for an office, much less think they should actually get that office. What was the DNC thinking? What were you, yourself thinking? Did you think we really were stupid out here?

Like so many, I watched with shock and awe as Trump ran away with the election. All the more surprising as MSM and the Republican party tried their best to derail Trumps candidacy.  Shocked that so many voters finally stood up to the political machine in D.C., and said they had had enough. Awed, by the scene that unfolded on MSM. Absolute shock! leaving seasoned “anchors” virtually speechless. I rather enjoyed it.

November 8^th 2016 will mark one of the most egregious days in our history. On that day, a known criminal, a woman so corrupt that it staggers the mind, is one of two candidates for president of the United States. How did we get here?

Based on the massive number of phone calls I have received over the last month, asking me to vote for Clinton; asking me if I was voting for Clinton, I can only say….HELL NO!

Several of these callers asked me “Don’t you want to see a woman in the White House?” Yes I do! I have waited all my life for a woman to have a serious shot at being elected president. But! Not that woman! The calls quickly devolved into a tirade about voting for her anyway because after all, I owed it to her as a woman to give her my vote.

Well, all I can say is, If my vagina was doing the voting I would probably buy that argument. As it is, I am voting with my brain and it tells me that we are all in deep do-do if Clinton gets in.

Already, arrests are being made in Virginia and Florida of election workers who are filling out absentee ballots for Clinton. We already have reports from Washington D.C. and from Texas about the flipping of the votes in the electronic voting machines. And we have had one media outlet post election night results showing Clinton winning by a slim margin seven or eight days ahead of time.

So….What do ya think? You think it might be rigged? I keep envisioning that robot from the 60’s TV series “Lost in Space”…..Warning! Warning! Danger, American voters! Danger!

Clinton is most likely one of the most dangerous and threatening individuals to ever appear in public office. “ Not fit to serve” doesn’t even begin to describe her. She will do anything and everything to those who oppose her and her penchant for vendettas is unequaled even in the underworld of organized crime.  Heck, she herself is a study in organized crime.

Like many other Democrats, I will be crossing the line this year and for the first time in my life, I am voting Republican or third party candidates.

The view from a political atheist

To all of you whiners and criers out there who whimper or scream hysterically that if I don’t vote I have no right to complain……..the hell if I don’t. I have watched this cycle every four years devolve into some kind of sick comedy act, and this election has got to be the final insult to the American voters.

On the so-called “right” we have Trump. A misogynistic blowhard that has supposedly built a fortune by gaming the system, filing multiple bankruptcies on his businesses and walked away with the goods and left many holding the bag.

On the so-called “left” we have Clinton. A murderous, treacherous, deceitful, career politician whose history in government is littered with one sordid episode after another.

330 Million people estimated to be in the US and this is all we can come up with for presidential candidates? Really?

We seriously need a vote of [no confidence] on our ballots. I refuse to be backed into another corner and being forced to choose between two clearly unqualified, unworthy, unreliable, dishonest, lying, cheating, conniving, deceitful, manipulative, Trilateral, Council on Foreign Relations, central banking flunkies, as my only options for president. We don’t elect presidents anyway.

When congress passed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, promising to impose a $1,000 fine on anyone giving employment to an undocumented alien, we scolded them for lying to the American people. We said the federal government had no intention of enforcing immigration law and the proof of it was the millions of illegal aliens being granted amnesty.

We said their goal was to perpetuate the lie, not end it. We said at the time, “The next wave of 15 million illegal aliens will be granted amnesty too — and so on and so on and so on. And when they finally have the votes to take over this country, they can deport us.” We said their blood oath pledge to God Almighty to seal our borders forever “was a lie before it was even uttered.” They sing-song that like the lyrics to “Happy Birthday.”

As we warn constantly: never, never, never believe your government!   This border security charade has been going on for over 40 years.

One classic case surfaced when Mitt Romney was Governor of Massachusetts. For months he negotiated with Immigration and Customs Enforcement for permission to allow his state troopers to arrest illegal immigrants. It was like pulling teeth, but the feds got shamed into it and finally had to feign an interest in law enforcement.

Don’t Be Fooled by the Political Game: The Illusion of Freedom in America

Being a citizen in the American corporate state is much like playing against a stacked deck: you’re always going to lose.

The game is rigged, and “we the people” keep getting dealt the same losing hand. Even so, most stay in the game, against all odds, trusting that their luck will change.

The problem, of course, is that luck will not save us. As I make clear in my book, Battlefield America: The War on the American People, the people dealing the cards—the politicians, the corporations, the judges, the prosecutors, the police, the bureaucrats, the military, the media, etc.—have only one prevailing concern, and that is to maintain their power and control over the citizenry, while milking us of our money and possessions.

It really doesn’t matter what you call them—Republicans, Democrats, the 1%, the elite, the controllers, the masterminds, the shadow government, the police state, the surveillance state, the military industrial complex—so long as you understand that while they are dealing the cards, the deck will always be stacked in their favor.

Incredibly, no matter how many times we see this played out, Americans continue to naively buy into the idea that politics matter, as if there really were a difference between the Republicans and Democrats (there’s not).

As if Barack Obama proved to be any different from George W. Bush (he has not). As if Hillary Clinton’s values are any different from Donald Trump’s (with both of them, money talks). As if when we elect a president, we’re getting someone who truly represents “we the people” rather than the corporate state (in fact, in the oligarchy that is the American police state, an elite group of wealthy donors is calling the shots).

Most Americans have their own simplistic methods of evaluating candidates for political office during America’s seemingly perpetual campaign seasons, but truly progressive proponents of true democracy have come to realize that the so-called “Two Party System” (often logically parodied as America’s “One Party System” when it comes to the corrupting influences of Wall Street and War Street [Big Finance, Big Military, Big Media, Big Food, Big Pharma, etc]) has been increasingly co-opted by the wealthy ruling elites who have been “purchasing” the blind allegiance (and later voting patterns) of both Republicans and Democrats. But the stench from this system is getting over-powering and sooner or later real patriots will have to stand up and start choosing candidates that are the least influenced by money and power and the most committed to a sustainable future for our increasingly poisoned nation, planet and children, not to mention all the other victims of global American imperialism, militarism, racism and economic destabilization.

However the candidates and their billionaire paymasters win their seats, they are the ones that will shamelessly be making life or death decisions for the lowly 99 Percenters wherever they are in the nation or the world.

These essentially amoral elites (the wealthy campaign contributors/bribers who are in the game for the money and power) are the ones who will be deciding the fate of the earth (and the fate of our innocent progeny) as they repeatedly fail to do the right thing for humanity. A dogmatic principle for conservatives is to “never change the status quo if the status quo is making a lot of money for the investor classes and is creating a lot of power that could be lost if reforms in favor of the common good are made”.

American NeoConservatives in the Republican Party (and the NeoLiberals in the Democratic Party) refuse to acknowledge that unbridled, unregulated capitalism is poisoning the planet’s climate, water, air, soil and food supplies (and therefore dooming the public health) and, in order to continue duping the sickened public, are investing billions of dollars in the raft of well-paid, well-tutored, lapdog politicians and spokespersons that will allow the corporate gravy train to continue unimpeded, with little or no concern for the 99%.

Telephone Surveys as a Propaganda Tool

Every week or so during campaign season, corporate-controlled media groups do telephone surveys that ask skewed questions of a small number of allegedly “statistically significant” landline phone owners that happen to answer the phone calls (cell phone owners seem to be excluded, a serious flaw that makes the results suspect). Select results of the surveys are dutifully reported on the corporate-controlled media, often stating that “most Americans view the country as moving in the wrong direction” – with the implication that the political party currently in power (rather than the corporate elites that control the agendas of both parties) is responsible for the lack of public confidence and therefore deserving of being thrown out of office.

The pollsters never do surveys asking people to evaluate the job performance of the leadership of America’s corrupted capitalist system and its exploitive and extractive economy that is systematically devastating the environment. If such a survey were ever taken, I suspect that the Wall Street and War Street profiteers and the other captains of industry (those that are so obscenely rich that they can afford armed bodyguards, private chauffeurs and live in mansions in more than one gated community) would have trouble getting much more than a single-digit job approval rating.

Ratings for their corporations, despite the billions of dollars spent “green-washing” their images on TV, would be similar to the 9 % approval rating of the US Congress (and nowhere near the supposedly disastrous 46 % job approval rating for President Obama. Most of us 99 Percenters would testify, if we were ever asked, that it is the unelected 1 Percenter misleaders and their corporations that are leading America in the wrong direction, laughing all the way to their off-shore tax-evasion banks.

I would like to see an unbiased poll of mental healthcare folks and others who have witnessed up close and personal the tortured bodies, psyches and souls of America’s suicidal and homicidal combat veterans (not to mention their traumatized battlefield “enemy” victims, most of whom were innocent non-combatant civilians, especially women and children) who were wasted in the illegal and stupid Cheney/Rumsfeld/Bush wars for oil in Afghanistan and Iraq. I suspect that such folks would denounce, if asked to be entirely truthful, the corporate war profiteers and their Congressional lobbyists that have been keeping the military/industrial/congressional/media complex’s gravy train going full steam ahead. I have walked through the barren remains of Babylon in Iraq and the ancient Roman city of Antioch, the capital of Roman Syria, which now lies buried in silt deposits. I have visited the marble ruins of Leptis Magna, once one of the most important agricultural centers in the Roman Empire, now isolated in the desolate drifts of sand southeast of Tripoli. I have climbed at dawn up the ancient temples in Tikal, while flocks of brightly colored toucans leapt through the jungle foliage below. I have stood amid the remains of the ancient Egyptian city of Luxor along the Nile, looking at the statue of the great Egyptian pharaoh Ramesses II lying broken on the ground, with Percy Shelley’s poem “Ozymandias” running through my head:

Civilizations rise, decay and die. Time, as the ancient Greeks argued, for individuals and for states is cyclical. As societies become more complex they become inevitably more precarious. They become increasingly vulnerable. And as they begin to break down there is a strange retreat by a terrified and confused population from reality, an inability to acknowledge the self-evident fragility and impending collapse. The elites at the end speak in phrases and jargon that do not correlate to reality. They retreat into isolated compounds, whether at the court at Versailles, the Forbidden City or modern palatial estates. The elites indulge in unchecked hedonism, the accumulation of vaster wealth and extravagant consumption. They are deaf to the suffering of the masses who are repressed with greater and greater ferocity. Resources are more ruthlessly depleted until they are exhausted. And then the hollowed-out edifice collapses. The Roman and Sumerian empires fell this way. The Mayan elites, after clearing their forests and polluting their streams with silt and acids, retreated backward into primitivism.

As food and water shortages expand across the globe, as mounting poverty and misery trigger street protests in the Middle East, Africa and Europe, the elites do what all elites do. They launch more wars, build grander monuments to themselves, plunge their nations deeper into debt, and as it all unravels they take it out on the backs of workers and the poor. The collapse of the global economy, which wiped out a staggering $40 trillion in wealth, was caused when our elites, after destroying our manufacturing base, sold massive quantities of fraudulent mortgage-backed securities to pension funds, small investors, banks, universities, state and foreign governments and shareholders. The elites, to cover the losses, then looted the public treasury to begin the speculation over again. They also, in the name of austerity, began dismantling basic social services, set out to break the last vestiges of unions, slashed jobs, froze wages, threw millions of people out of their homes, and stood by idly as we created a permanent underclass of unemployed and underemployed.

The Mayan elite became, at the end, as the anthropologist Ronald Wright notes in “A Short History of Progress,” “… extremists, or ultra-conservatives, squeezing the last drops of profit from nature and humanity.” This is how all civilizations, including our own, ossify and die. The signs of imminent death may be undeniable. Common sense may cry out for a radical new response. But the race toward self-immolation only accelerates because of intellectual and moral paralysis. As Sigmund Freud grasped in “Beyond the Pleasure Principle” and “Civilization and Its Discontents,” human societies are as intoxicated and blinded by their own headlong rush toward death and destruction as they are by the search for erotic fulfillment.

(1) Astronomical military spending at a time when there’s nobody left in the world big enough to fight us, with the exception of international terrorists (of which the definition is any rebel faction in a Middle East loaded with factions, most of which we first created, then armed and now oppose, not because they’ve changed but because we have),

(2) the health care farce, which makes us the most expensive, least effective (at least #47 in the world) and largest laughingstock in the world, and finally,

(3) the final triumph of corporate governance in Washington, which is icing the decline and fall of both capitalism and democracy in one fell swoop.

Witness the final humiliation: Warren Buffett, the richest deckhand on this ship of fools, recently announced how he could cure all our ills in about five minutes: every time Congress screws up by deadlocking itself or filibustering over the people’s business, we suspend their Congressional salaries and munificent benefits, such as the real health care system they deny us. The result would be guaranteeing the immediate end of deficits, debt problems and unemployment. Inadequate, Warren, but like drowning lawyers, a good start.

Take the Pentagon (as Rodney Dangerfield might say: Please). While every politician is shit-hemorrhaging over the budget deficit, military spending has reached such ridiculous proportions that multi-billion dollar items (such as the recent F-35 horror) click automatically into place, even though nobody – including the Pentagon brass itself – wants the bloody thing. It’s just fixed, embedded national policy/corporate welfare that subsidizes the weapons industry. And just the other day, our formerly audacious hopeful President sent to Congress his endorsement of the largest Pentagon budget in history.

Obama NOW claims that he has the authority to override our immigration laws after repeatedly stating that he could not – not by Executive Order – but with a Presidential Memo (much like my grocery list memo on the fridge). Of course those of us paying attention realize and acknowledge the lawlessness taking place, but for those who so eagerly believe what the bias and selective mainstream media tells them – they are just uninformed of the travesty taking place – by Obama’s own admission.

Of course the Democrat’s are ‘All In’ on the lawlessness making claims such as “Gee, Obama had to … the House just would not suck it up and pass the treasonous Comprehensive Immigration Bill that WE created”. Of course, these very same Democrats are ever so silent on the fact that via Harry Reid – most of the compromising that the GOP did seek – went into a drawer in Reid’s office – never to be seen again. The Democrats only focus on this talking point because….well…. it’s all they have to try and persuade the American Citizenry that their aiding and abetting of this corruption is warranted.

One must wonder what other laws Obama feels he, his pen, phone and memo pad can simply ignore and I wonder…. if in 2016 a Republican is elected President, if the Dem’s will be so supportive of such ‘I Am King’ lawlessness?

Mid-term elections: America loses again

We just swapped one bunch of crooks, liars and thieves for the other bunch of crooks, liars and thieves. The country just went “red” more from embarrassment than anything else. You should be embarrassed and turning beet red from being duped yet again. 2/3 of us didn’t even bother to show up to vote. What’s the point?

About last night…..

I scoured the usual lineup of cable news shows to see what the response was there to the mid-terms. At one point on MSNBC where Rachael Maddow was predictably finding humor in the elections, I wondered out loud what was wrong with this woman? According to Maddow, the elections weren’t really as bad as they seemed on the surface and we should just laugh them off. They really didn’t mean anything or at least not what we thought they did. This wasn’t really a political shellacking, it was just a rub & buff…nothing more. HaHaHa….Isn’t this funny? No, it isn’t.

The remainder of the scripted reality shows we call news on MSNBC also pandered to the “its not what you think” line. Yes it was what we think. More than that, its what we know. We just traded one old man for another old man; both of them nested up for years inside the beltway and so detached from the public that neither of them try to hide their disgust for “We the People”. We just opened the door to another neo-con assault on the nation. Pardon me for not laughing.

Faux news was ready to implode as one hack after another jubilantly reported the shellacking of America via the elections and what is nothing less than the return of the neo-cons. Already they are talking about “deregulation”.

Remember when the country first elected Obama? Remember the collective sigh of relief as he spoke of returning the country to its former glory? Remember when we all thought he was going to end the neo-con overthrow of our government and country?

And remember when we all realized he had simply picked up where the Bush/Cheney Crime Syndicate left off and added some new twists of his own?

Remember how sick at your stomach you felt when you realized that Obama was Bush on steroids?

That’s kind of the same feeling too many of us out here have today. This wasn’t a mandate for Republicans although they are trying to sell it as if it was. It was a rejection of the corruption, the anti-American mind-set in the District of Criminals. And we had only two choices.

There are few out here in the general public, regardless of supposed party affiliation, expressing any sense of celebration or excitement over last night’s election returns. We simply swapped one faction of the one-party system for the other. Most agree that nothing is going change other than the way the pre-planned agenda will be implemented.

Absent from any debates, if you could call the public displays put on by candidates on both sides a debate of any kind, was any discussion of the illegal and unwarranted spying by NSA and multiple other spy agencies operating without oversight.

No one mentioned or even discussed casually, the militarization of law enforcement against the public at large. Not one candidate mentioned the military tanks, the grenade launchers, assault rifles, SWAT gear, and other military weapons that local law enforcement is now arming themselves with for use on the very communities that employ them. Equipment that was paid for with taxpayer money or borrowed in the name of the People and produced so excessively that there was enough equipment to sell to other countries, to arm our own military and to arm local law enforcement against us.

Millions more privately insured Americans will soon see their policies canceled; the individual mandate penalty/tax will kick in; the crushing burdens of new taxes on businesses, medical devices, and insurance premiums will reverberate through the already stalled economy; and more and more independent physicians will have to close their practices owing to new requirements.

My favorite bumper sticker for this campaign season is “Keep your doctor, change your senator.”

Monica Wehby, M.D., pediatric neurosurgeon, is trying to unseat a one-term Democrat in Oregon. Dr. Wehby has been very active in the American Medical Association, trying to change its pro-ObamaCare stance.

Election season is upon us.

Local and state elections are taking place and will continue through November 4^th with the all-important mid-terms.  Do these elections really matter?  I would suggest perhaps more than ever.  These elections could determine if we ever have another election that even resembles fairness.  All have witnessed the effort to limit free speech and control the press in such a way as to affect the outcome of elections.  We have seen the term “voting intimidation” redefined so it applies for some but not for others based on the whims of the Attorney General.  We have seen efforts to enhance voter irregularities so as to benefit the Marxist/Progressives.  This election will determine the future control the Marxist/Progressives have to continue to further their agenda to complete the fundamental transformation to a classless Marxist society that was promised in November of 2008.  Not only are the congressional elections critical to stop this course of action, but so are all local and state elections. Many people will be assisting with campaigns, working phone banks and walking precincts.  We learned about private citizens being attacked by the directive of powerful people in Washington.  An example is Catherine Engelbrecht of “True the Vote” who has had the full power of the federal government attack her by a directive of Elijah Cummings.  Freedom Loving Americans advocate that only citizens should be allowed to vote and to prove citizenship is reasonable.  The Marxist/Progressives advocate that anybody should be able to vote including non-citizens, people who died, and pets.  They tell their supporters they should vote early and often.  We recently saw the Marxist/Progressives who advocate voting early and often believe so firmly in this concept that they honor those who admit to breaking the law with multiple votes.  North Carolina is learning many people have voted not only in North Carolina but also in different states.

The Americans With No Abilities Act is being hailed as a major legislative goal by advocates of the millions of Americans who lack any real skills or ambition.

 

“Roughly 50 percent of Americans do not possess the competence and drive necessary to carve out a meaningful role for themselves in society,” said California Sen. Barbara Boxer. “We can no longer stand by and allow People of Inability (POI) to be ridiculed and passed over. With this legislation, employers will no longer be able to grant special favors to a small group of workers, simply because they have some idea of what they are doing.”

 

In a Capitol Hill press conference, House Speaker john Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid pointed to the success of the U.S. Postal Service, which has a long-standing policy of providing opportunity without regard to performance. At the state government level, the Department of Motor Vehicles also has an excellent record of hiring Persons with No Ability (63 percent).

 

Under the Americans With No Abilities Act, more than 25 million mid-level positions will be created, with important-sounding titles but little real responsibility, thus providing an illusory sense of purpose and performance.

 I am always amazed when so-called liberal, progressive, or socialist politicians and/or members of the national media refer to people like me, who believe in Liberty and individual freedom, as Right Wing Extremists, Nazis or Fascists simply because we believe that the U.S. Constitution is the law of the land and should be followed by all elected and appointed government officials at every level of government.

 These progressive politicians and members of the national media, continually use a  ‘Left-Right Paradigm’ to classify Constitutionalists, Conservatives and Tea Party types as extremists and place them on the right side of the paradigm, while the so-called enlightened liberals and progressives see themselves somewhere on the left side of the paradigm.

In the United States today, the Left-Right Paradigm is in reality a false paradigm that gives people the public appearance that there are two main opposing political groups, the Republicans and Democrats. These two major political parties, like magicians, cleverly give the illusion that they have basic differences in their national and world views, but in reality, both political parties share the common goals of staying in power, moving our country towards a socialist-style, big government, nanny state where a sizable majority of the people will be dependent upon elected and appointed government officials, from both parties, giving them government handouts or other assistance.

Although publically, the Republicans and Democrats seem to disagree on major and minor issues that divide the nation, they are really just using these issues to manipulate and rally certain segments of the public behind one side of the issue or the other, with the real purpose being and to get donations for the cause, whatever it may be. The basic idea behind this practice is to keep the American people divided so that each party can maintain control over those people within their party’s sphere of influence who think the way the party leaders do.

In my opinion……

As someone long ago said, “If God wanted us to vote, He would have given us candidates worth voting for”.  I have no idea who might have originally said that, but I have concluded they were absolutely right.  I find myself wondering if God is not up in heaven somewhere laughing his holy behind off over the joke that is our political system.  Could be God is just so tired of us!

As a gentleman in the midst of his senior years, I find myself somewhat thankful for my advanced age.  I most likely will not live to see the end results of the traitorous conduct by all factions of the political system and, the absolute ruination of this once great country.  I do not believe my soul could stand it.  I did not serve my country to see her end this way; but end she will if we do not stop the cancer that is [federal government] from eating away at the core of our nation.

Watching the successive efforts by both Democrats and Republicans to deconstruct, to disassemble, to destroy, to bastardize, the very things that made us great, is heartbreaking to watch.  We elected these people in good faith and they have returned that good faith by being the most worthless, greedy and horrible people imaginable.  There is not, in my opinion, even one of the lot them worth another day in office.

What happened to you?

It is astonishing to me to see my own countrymen turning on one another.  It seems these days that all that is necessary to become a traitor to our country, to our communities, is to don a government uniform, or carry a government badge and set about terrorizing and harassing our fellow Americans.  There is no honor in what these men and women do; they have simply become drunk on the unfettered power, the ability to torment, torture, harass and terrorize their fellow citizens.  We can see that they enjoy what they are doing and for most of us the site is enough to sicken even the most hardened among us.

But we, as a country, go even further than this.

The rumors, innuendo’s and probably a fair amount of good information is circulating about Obama.  Republicans are working furiously to make him into some kind of boogey man.  Be afraid! Be very afraid!  If Obama gets re-elected you never know what will happen.

Yes, actually we do.  The same thing that will happen if Romney is elected. 

Either one will:

• continue to deconstruct the United States,
• sign away our sovereignty with free trade agreements
• sell more of our infrastructure off to foreign interests
• lie us into more wars
• continue the building of the police state
• condone the unwarranted spying on and surveillance of Americans
• continue to push Agenda 21 to end property rights
• use the phoney “global warming” crap to increase taxes
• take all water rights except those granted to corporations

Have you ever wondered what the real cost of those proposed socialist programs are going to be – once most of the programs of the Democrat-Socialists are fully implemented in the United States, against the will of the American people of course. Have you ever wondered what your quality of life will be once these costs finally hit your wallet. If you have wondered about it, you may be very interested in looking at the current tax rate figures for the European Union.

As you look these mind-boggling, very high tax rates, keep in mind that in spite of these astronomical figures, these European countries are still not able to finance their social engineering and social welfare programs exclusively from tax revenues. Just about all of the European countries are also deeply mired in public debt of gargantuan proportions. Greece has reached the point where its debt is so huge it is in imminent danger of defaulting. That is the reason the European economic community has intervened to bail them out yet again.

If you’re following the international financial news, you know Spain and Portugal are right behind Greece.

Thanks to our current administration and the many Democrat-Socialist and Liberal-Republican administrations and politicians who came before, the United States is now heading right down the same path. Surely, both political parties can share the blame.

The VAT tax named in the table is the national sales tax that Europeans pay and that kind of a tax is exactly what you can expect to see the Obama administration proposing after the fall elections, if they win. This will be on top of the U.S. federal income tax

The initial percentage in the United States will not be anywhere near the outrageous numbers you now see in Europe, but then again neither were the federal income tax rates very high back in 1913, when that tax started. The current outrageous numbers in Europe didn’t start out as outrageous either. They started out as minuscule – right around the 1% or 2% where they will start out in the United States. Magically, however, they were increased over the years to where they are now. If history is a guide, the American taxpayers can expect the same thing here.

It is the very notion that with hard work and perseverance, anybody can get ahead economically here in the USA . Do you think that can ever happen with tax rates between 60% and 80%? Think again. With the government taking such a large percentage of your money, your life will be exactly like life in Europe …

Matters are no different here. The myth of a free America was always seen with bitter irony by those not blessed by such freedom. In the founding generation, as half a million labored in slavery, many who fought in the Revolution genuinely believed in liberty, but for the ruling elite who chided them on, liberty was hardly more than a slogan. This has always been true of our political leaders. The Father of the Country was a centralizing slaveowner. Old Hickory talked up freedom as he threatened war on South Carolina and forced the Cherokee to flee from their ancestral land on a barbarously murderous walk of shame. The Great Emancipator turned America into a military dictatorship and abolished the revolutionary right of secession. Wilson’s New Freedom was cover for a Prussianized war machine generating revenue for his profiteering buddies on Wall Street. Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms failed to include the freedom not to be drafted or interned in a concentration camp. Ronald Reagan threw the word freedom around as he trained Latin American torturers and raped the Bill of Rights in the name of fighting drugs. The United States has never lived up to its rhetoric.

But the events from February 28 through April 19, 1993, still stand out in my mind as a watershed. It was the post-Cold War regime’s coming of age, signifying a major event in cultural history.

Everything about Operation Showtime was brazen, and it seemed like an overreach even by some of the government’s establishment defenders. Yet today Washington’s fixers must look back at these embarrassments as a hiccup at most, as growing pains on the way to establishing a militarized law-and-order apparatus of nearly unlimited power. That this stepping stone was reached on the eve of the Internet era, right before the old media began its decline in influence, was most convenient for the police state and its solidification.

The propaganda against the Branch Davidians was perfectly tuned to appeal to the masses, each adjustment in frequency coming just in time to keep the people listening. Religious fanatics with a meth lab, armed and dangerous, abusing their children – few wanted to stand up for these people during the siege. Even fewer wished to identify the Davidian response to the original raid for what it was: self-defense. The Davidians fired on the ATF so long as the ATF fired upon the Davidians, and when the ATF ran out of ammo, the Davidians held their fire. The government’s officials were the aggressors. What followed were fifty-one days of psychological warfare designed to isolate the Davidians – from water, from food, from the press, their lawyers and family – and break them down like any wartime enemy.

I read several books each month.  Seldom have I read anything that infuriated me more; that made me want to jump up and bang my head in the wall out of frustration and anger than “Throw Them all Out!” by Peter Schweitzer.

While we have labored under the gross mismanagement of the federal government and the ensuing and massively un-repayable national debt that has been steadily building over the last 25 years in particular that resulted in the markets collapsing from unbridled banking and stock market corruption, those fine jackasses in the District of Criminals have made a killing using insider information to trade, sell and buy stocks that would be directly affected by legislation they were pushing.  

If ever there was an argument for term limits, for ending what Schweitzer calls the Permanent Political Class, this book is it. 

You cannot read this book and not be outraged over the insider trading, the self-enrichment and the selling out of the public as congress, both Republican and Democrat alike make money while the rest of the country slides into an economic abyss.

God save the oil cartel subsidies and to hell with the poor!

While the Republicans disparage any thoughts of asking the upper 3% and corporations to pay their fair and equalized share of taxes, they also fight like banshees to prevent the repeal of the 36 billion in tax credits and subsidies to the oil cartels which continue to produce billions and billions and billions and more billions, in net profits.  

God forbid we should even bring up capping the prices the cartels can charge the public for their products.

With both party’s having done their fair share of damage to the economy, jobs and the standard of living for most of America, neither party is too keen on rolling back the unearned and unnecessary financial privileges extended to high dollar corporate campaign donors especially when these funds from the oil conglomerates are so lucrative. 

With the battle still raging in the District of Criminals regarding how to cut spending it is apparent that no one considered the idea that possibly cutting those massive subsidies to oil companies might just lessen the load a bit.  Instead, knowing that oil prices had risen an average of 40% above last year (no reason for this other than they could raise them) our collection of jackasses in the District decided the best way to save money would be to cut fuel assistance to low-income families; that was far more acceptable than exercising any sort of control over oil cartels. 

Besides, poor people aren’t likely to take you to expensive restaurants or to fly you around on one of their corporate jets to some vacation get away disguised as a government business trip and they don’t have the money to finance your political career…..so screw them.

The only thing Republicans and Democrats can agree on! Lets eat the horses!

Horse slaughter plants are legal again in the United States. Restrictions on horse meat processing for human consumption have been lifted. 

In a bipartisan effort, the House of Representatives and the United States Senate approved the Conference Committee report on spending bill H2112, which among other things, funds the United States Department of Agriculture.  On November 18th, as the country was celebrating Thanksgiving, President Obama signed a law, allowing Americans to kill and eat horses. Essentially, one turkey was pardoned in the presence of worldwide media while in the shadows, buried under pages of fiscal regulation, millions of horses were sentenced to death.

Horse slaughter has been prohibited in the United States as funding for inspections of horses in transit and at slaughter houses was non-existent. This worked because the horse meat cannot be sold for human consumption without such inspections. The House version of the bill retained the de-funding language and the Senate version did not. The conference committee charged with reconciling the two opted to not include it. The result is that it is now legal to slaughter horses for humans to eat.

Notwithstanding that 70% of Americans oppose horse slaughter, that President Obama made a campaign promise to permanently ban horse slaughter and exports of horses for human consumption (horses can be sent to Mexico and Canada), that documentation of animal cruelty, slaughterhouse stench, fluid runoff and negative community impact exists, it is taxpayers that will bear the costs!

Wyoming state representative Sue Wallis and her pro-slaughter group estimate that between 120,000 and 200,000 horses will be killed for human consumption per year and that Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Georgia and Missouri, are considering opening slaughter plants.

During these trying times, is the only thing that Democrats and Republicans can agree on is that Americans need to eat horses?

MAJOR JACKASS ALERT! 

The Senate voted to pass the anti-American Defense Authorization Act of 2011, S.1867.   The vote was 61-37; 61 Senators who swore to defend and uphold the Constitution just flipped the bird at the entire country. 

44 Republican Senators voted to keep the detainee provisions in the bill….these are those same Republicans who are going to save the country from Obama and the Democrats. 

17 Democrats voted to keep the same provisions….These are the same Democrats who are going to save country from the Republicans and the neo-cons. 

I can’t speak for anyone else other than myself here but, I am so sick of this traitorous bunch of political whores and jackasses, I can barely stand it.  I cannot think of one rational, plausible reason as to why this bill included the so-called “right” to arbitrarily and summarily determine any one, anywhere in the world to be a threat/criminal, and to detain them indefintiely without any bona fide reason and based on nothing more than what  might amount to a “belief”  and to hold them indefinitely without charging them with any crime or producing any evidence that one had been committed and to do this to anyone the government decides to, even US citizens.  Who are the real terrorists here?  And why would codifying this into some horrendous law, make it any less repugnant or any more justifiable?

Its bad enough that we are unable to trust anything this bunch does, much less even one word of anything they say, but the fact is THEY know that WE know they are lying and betraying us at every opportunity, yet they continue to do so while simultaneously trying to convince us that one party or the other is the only party that will save us from fascism/socialism/communism…..whatever “ism” suits their current needs.  The fact is, we need to save our selves from our own government.

For those of us who voluntarily expose ourselves to the news that isn’t news on Lame Street Media, this morning was a real waker-upper.  We have all come to expect sports games being treated as if they were of national importance; after all why wouldn’t we?  It’s not like we have illegal wars being conducted on numerous fronts, or the corruption on Wall Street and in the overall banking system isn’t killing us economically. 

The interlacing of sports news, celebrity mis-haps and other nonsense that is irrelevant considering the current sad state of affairs of our country goes, eats up a huge portion of valuable time that isn’t consumed by the incessant commercials for crap you aren’t likely to buy anyway. 

Sports and celebrity news seems to consume large blocks of time while relevant news (what little is offered) gets a few sound bites and we can suddenly find ourselves listening to a story about a man who saw Jesus’ face in cheeseburger that he is selling on Ebay.  My yes….that would be important and so earthshaking.

I watch at least one of these corporate/government shills for the powers that be every morning just to note what they ARE NOT reporting that might have been of real interest and useful to the average viewer.  And then it happened…………… 

I was sipping  my coffee, kind of zoning out as the CNN (and several other cable networks) broadcaster smiled and talked about football as if it really mattered to any of us out here who are observing the slow wrenching demise of our economy, the on-going and growing corruption of the government, and suddenly Newty Gingrich appeared on my screen.  The cream in my coffee curdled, and I mentally recoiled as if a huge snake had appeared before me.  In essence it had.
