Enjoy your holiday everyone!  Take time to remember those who gave their lives and/or service in defense of your liberty.  

Those who fill the rows in Arlington National Cemetery and those who have been buried near their homes gave all they had to make sure you remained free.  Many suffer from lifelong disabilities as a result of their service in honor of your freedom.  To honor them and their sacrifices we, in the federal government, lovingly referred to as “Uncle Sam” have done everything we could to sustain the Constitution and your civil liberties and freedom.

The ages ranged from about 18 months to 7 years. Nine little human children lined up upon the poor rocky ground of THEIR Nation. Bombed perhaps in the middle of the night while sleeping. Collateral Damage.

But you cannot see that Reader, because that is upsetting. That might cause you to question the actions of a government that takes your money to kill innocents. Of course these bombings must stop. Now.

Sometimes There Is No Answer

 

People die.

The various ways could fill this blog with dark depressing facts.

Yet it happens.

As thinking rational beings, we want justification for the loss of a loved one. We want answers and so we comb backwards through the events looking for the smallest action that could have “changed what might have been”.

“Could I have”, “should I have”, “did we”, “how come”, “there should have been a law” – it is all part of the stages of grief to find meaning in the final process of life : Death.

 If a bully moves into your neighborhood and starts to throw his “weight” around, the bully’s neighbors have two choices ….. defeat the bully, or capitulate to his every whim for fear of igniting his wrath.  This is the choice for America and every other country who is forced to confront the bully. 

A bully has been in our “neighborhood” for at least 100 years and all we seemed to have done is to capitulate to the bully’s every whim.  The bully’s whim grows more radical by the day.   But there comes a time when we can no longer ignore the bully.  His whims have entered into our personal lives in a big way and have come into the private, sacred sanctuary of our homes.  Because of our apathy and capitulation, the bully feels emboldened to go even farther with his interference.  Now his interference comes in the form of economic and political enslavement and after that, who knows what?

Critical Senate vote

On June 10, the Senate will vote on SJ Res. 26, a Joint-Resolution to disapprove the EPA Rule that would allow the EPA to regulate carbon dioxide as a pollutant.   Carbon dioxide occurs naturally throughout the environment, and is what mammals exhale.  It is not a pollutant!  If the EPA is allowed to define it as a pollutant and regulate it in the atmosphere, then the EPA has a license to regulate life itself.

This is what the resolution says:

“Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That Congress disapproves the rule submitted by the Environmental Protection Agency relating to the endangerment finding and the cause or contribute findings for greenhouse gases under section 202(a) of the Clean Air Act (published at 74 Fed. Reg. 66496 (December 15, 2009)), and such rule shall have no force or effect.”

Please contact your Senators and urge them to adopt this critical resolution.

Part 2:

In part one I eluded to the fact that early America prospered because of the availability of lesser educated men willing to work with their hands at jobs requiring diverse mechanical aptitude. Many millions of them were from other nations, and contributed to our grocery basket of human culture, but one and all had the same dream. The opportunity to work at honest labor and earn their own way was intellectually intoxicating, and the thought of one day owning their own business was enough to drive them to near suicidal effort. Most were honest, hard working family men, and the ability to support, love, and protect their family was their greatest joy. Does that sound like a good base to build a stable society on? It does to me. I have worked with men like them most of my life, and remain unfit to clean their work boots.

The Answer is No. The Time is Now

If I had the opportunity to sit in each living room of America, this would be the conversation I would have with each individual who believe they have no power.

America – why are we making this so difficult? The endless discussion, the banter back and forth, the reconciliation game being played in Washington, D.C., Republican, Democrats, Constitutionality?

The answer, though simple, is quite clear once the muck is removed from the discussion. No. Polite, firm and insistent. “No Thank you Mr. Republicrat. The answer to Health Care Reform is No. The answer to an increase in Taxes? No.”  Not a qualified maybe, not a “wait and see”, the answer is No.

Can one not see the return of the Republican’s to the discussion is no more than their attempt to grab what little power and money not already jingling in the pockets of the Democrats? The call sweeping the Nation now  is – “The Vote in 2010 is going to wipe out the corruption in Washington, by replacing the Democrats with Republicans.” Do you really believe that?

I say the answer is No.   No incumbents.   Each and every one of them has contributed to the conflagration that currently abides in this Nation. If you truly believe that through the election process a single one is going to carry through for your wants or needs, take the blinders off and open your eyes.

The only path to the return to simple Government of the People By the People is the People.

Not promises, additional Regulatory Practices, endless debate or bargaining.

Fighting for Liberty = Terrorism

Well, according to the goons at London’s Gatwick Airport, fighting for liberty is now officially recognized as “terrorism.” A young man wearing a T-shirt sporting the slogan, “Freedom or Death” was told to cover his shirt because the slogan was “threatening” and “an incitement to terrorism.” That’s how far things have gone in the UK, now, and it’s looking more and more like we’re not very far behind. This makes me wonder how long it will be before the state of New Hampshire is forced to change its state motto (“Live free or die”). Actually, it’s already been suggested.

When expressions of the values our nation was founded upon become “an incitement to terrorism” and we must watch what we write or say for fear of being labeled as “terrorists,” we are already living in a police state, folks. Whether there are troops in the streets with guard dogs or not makes no difference; the effect is the same: a loss of fundamental liberty. In fact, I would say that we are living in a far more effective police state by virtue of the fact that the troops and guard dogs are not needed in order to keep us in line. We have become so spineless that just the implied threat of a government crackdown is enough to silence most people, these days.

The Horse Latitudes

They came in the bellies of wooden ships back to their place of origin. They came with little water, good food, or ventilation and those too week were discarded overboard into the “Horse Latitudes.” Only the most fit survived.

They conquered those that originally ate them, plowed fields, and helped create a mighty country. One million were sent to fight a World War, 200 came back.  Some found their way into the abyss, into a desert land, little water or food. After 500 years they evolved into the American Wild Mustang. The most enduring animal ever.

Their social behavior has made them the very living symbol of American freedom and perseverance. They fought our wars, were made into dog food, farmed, moved people and goods, rodioed, stared in movies. Now the BLM is rounding them up to put them into zoos. Will we see a reflection of our own freedom as we witness them in cages? Once they’re gone, they will be gone forever.

Is our own freedom so fragile that some of us can’t be free to witness them as they are? That some who would profit have rights more important? Do corporations greed over rule even our American symbols? They are more American then any of us or any corporation. I would rather give up my soul then see their demise.

There comes a pivot point in our society. A moment that is frozen in time, cradled in the hands of history when no longer as a society we operate as a unit of common sense. When opponents meet upon a battlefield and decide whom will be the victor. As we look back en-masse the realization that we have gone too far descends upon us : at that moment each individual must look into their very souls and ask “What have we done?”

A moment such as the many that span the written history of the Human race is now unfolding in Wisconsin. The opponents are defined such as David and Goliath. Powerful, strong, large and undefeatable versus the meek and humble, inexperienced in battle. The arrogance and sneering Goliath in this situation is none other than Clark County District Attorney Darwin Zwieg. Our David is Mr. Emanual Miller, an Old Order Amish.

By the end of the day, more than one hundred and twenty delegates from 48 states had arrived and we began the deliberations of Continental Congress 2009 that would last 11 days. All of the delegates had high hopes that something good would come from this effort; something that would help the America people find their way at this crucial time in our history. No one could have predicted the things that took place over those eleven days and no one who attended would ever be the same. American citizens from 48 of these united States, from all walks of life, had come together in a people’s congress to devise a plan to return America to Constitutional government. Working long into the night, every night, we huddled together in small and large groups, talking about the Constitution, discussing the Constitution, trying to find the way back to constitutional government for this great country. From this historic gathering, a document entitled the ‘Articles of Freedom,’ was prepared for the Free People of America, written by the delegates themselves who made up a cross section of the American people. This document doesn’t pretend to have all the answers, nor do we expect all Americans to agree to each and every part. We do hope, however, that the Articles of Freedom, will serve as a wake-up call for our elected officials and the free people of America. The document represents a strategic plan that can be used by the people to turn America around and restore our Republic.

Ok, now what? Would Obama be removed from office? Perhaps. Then what? Joseph Biden would be our next President. Ok, then what? Would the United States be freer? Would the States and the people regain their sovereignty stolen by the federal government? Would America’s form of government revert back to its original nature and character of 1787? Would self-government, the consent of the governed, limited government and federalism once again become the guiding principles throughout these states united? Dear Friends,

So far as I can tell from six years on the net, there are three kinds of patriots.

The un-informed, the in-formed, and the cognitively dissonant, all are patriots, and all are pissing in the wind.

The un-informed; are running on emotion, as a result of a life time exposure to public education, and the media industry, and to their worthy credit, most have tried, or would not hesitate to lay down their lives for America, and this is the hardest group to deal with, due to their fierce love for the Constitution, and their perception of America. Telling them the real history of the birth of America is a good way to lose these friends real fast. Believe me; I don’t want to lose loyal American’s because I am not capable of making them accept the truth.

HR 778 IH…The fresh milk bill no one talks about

It would appear earlier this year Rep. Ron Paul (R) Texas, introduced this simple bill into the record of the House.  Here we are in Mid-November, eleven months later……and not one co-sponsor or any action has been taken on this bill.  It is sitting idle in committee. 

While this bill lies unaddressed, northeastern dairy producers and northern plain’s states producers are under attack by hostile corporate raiders with what would appear to be the full compliance and facilitation of state and federal legislators, along with unlawfully empowered unelected bureaucracies which operate as the enforcement agencies for corporate interests

I find it more than odd that not ONE legislator at the federal level in those states where private and independent dairy operations are under attack from instate agencies, has lent their prestigious names to this appeal for consumer choice, evidently opting instead to allow this assault on individual rights and freedom. 

Corruption of government is never more apparent than when corporate pirates and raiders are invited to the table while the average citizen who will be adversely affected are kept out of the room.  

Of all the bills scheduled for the November 18, 2009 Fake food Safety mark-up…….this bill is not included for debate.  Go figure.   _______________________________________

Update: On page 7, there is the whole list of “best practices”  On the surface this would seem to be about giving grant money, and they are focusing on “small and medium size farms and processors.  (Why don’t they train and educate the BIG PRODUCERS causing the food safety problems?!)
Anyhow, at a glance, I’m bothered that most definitions will be “determined by the Secretary” or “meaning given by the Secretary”
I’m really bothered that the “Agricultural Producer Group” (and what is their purpose – are they a board of some sort to advise?) seems like it might consist of BigAg since the wording is so vague.  Dee West

• S2758 introduced by Debbie Stabenow (MI) with co-sponsors:

I have no doubt this bill is nothing less than the consolidation of S510 and HR 2749 and if presented as such, it may not be necessary to refer it back to any committee for further debate.  I suspect it will simply be introduced in the middle of the night and passed with tons of added pork barrel spending and arm twisting. 

At this point I suppose we should be encouraging all of you to write or call your senators and representatives, but as we don’t have millions of dollars to contribute to political campaigns, nor are we in a position to have six highly paid lobbyists for each and every elected official we already know they have no time for us.  None of them will answer your calls, respond to your letters or in any way give any time or attention to your concerns.  They’ll do whatever they are paid to do and then collect a nice big fat salary from us on top of that.

Tennessee confirms state sovereignty

We send greetings from the Tennessee General Assembly.  On June 23, 2009, House Joint Resolution 108, the State Sovereignty Resolution, was signed by Governor Phil Bredesen.  The Resolution created a committee which has as its charge to:

• Communicate the resolution to the legislatures of the several states,
• Assure them that this State continues in the same esteem of their friendship,
• Call for a joint working group between the states to enumerate the abuses of authority by the federal government, and
• Seek repeal of the assumption of powers and the imposed mandates.

We’ve all heard it a million times. America is the “Land of the free and home of the brave.”
Is it? Is it really?

I’ve had people write to me and tell me they agree with this campaign to Kick Them All Out but they are afraid to sign on, make themselves known for fear of ending up on some list. I had a good friend tell me the same thing one day while talking on the phone. He confessed that he was afraid our conversation was being listened to by the government and that he may end up on some list. He wasn’t shaking in his boots scared. It was more of a “Big Brother is watching” sense in the back of his mind but it was there nonetheless. It was a definite concern that should never have been in his mind in the first place. This is supposed to be a free country, isn’t it?

If this forecast holds true, and a major portion of our states file bankruptcy, there will be widespread panic, our state funded services and programs will be closed down immediately, and confusion amongst political leadership and the citizenry.

Not long after the states file bankruptcy, could we see martial law declared by the President of the United States, as a means to bring order and peace. Those who are not willing to comply with the mandates of the martial law will be hauled off to FEMA camps and military bases throughout the United States.

How can you prepare for this economic collapse now?

Food

• Begin stocking up your cabinets, pantries, and closets with non-perishable food items.
• Purchase a portable camping stove in case your home’s electricity is shut off.
• Start consuming a healthier diet so your body isn’t dependent on the processed and junk foods we’ve grown accustom to.
• If your have the space in your yard, plant and grow a garden.
• Stock up on vitamins and necessary supplements to ensure you stay healthy in the next Great Depression.

Household

• Discuss emergency plans with your family, roommates, friends, and/or loved ones.
• Store a stockpile of hygiene items including deodorant, toothpaste, towels, washcloths, and toilet paper.
• Make sure you have a hefty reserve of bottled water on hand, stored in a safe place.
• Keep extra pillows, sheets, and blankets in your closets.
• Have at least one shotgun, rifle, or handgun, if not more.
• Ensure you have enough ammunition to defend yourself, your household, and your loved ones in emergency situations.

Community

• Get to know your neighbors.
• Know who you can and cannot trust in your local community.
• Gather together with like-minded individuals in your community, choose designated methods of contact, and choose a few leaders.
• Pick a safe house, where your community coalition will go in emergency situations.
• Pick two alternative safe houses, in case the primary safe house becomes compromised.
• In times of peace, continue to make your community aware of political, social, and economic dangers.

Money

• Save paper and coin money in a safe place in your house.
• Invest in a small or medium size safe to store your money and other valuables.
• Slowly begin withdrawing from your savings and investment accounts on a regular basis. Store this money in a safe location.
• If you can purchase gold, buy it. Gold retains the same value no matter how low or high the currency markets go.
• Stop paying taxes to save money and force government leaders to listen to the citizenry, the people who put them in office.

Oklahoma still fighting for Sovereignty

Citizens to Assemble in Support of Bipartisan Legislative Efforts to Protect Oklahomans from the Federal Collection, Sharing and Control of Personal Data.
Oklahoma City–January 3rd there will be “Citizens Assembly for Oklahoma Sovereignty” sponsored by OK-SAFE, R3PUBLICANS, and the Constitutional Alliance along to support the Tenth Amendment Resolution and to show that Oklahoma citizens firmly reject The Real ID Act of 2005 and similar proposals to use personal information or biometrics to enroll Americans in a national identification plan. This bipartisan event is open to all residents of Oklahoma who wish to retain their rights and freedoms as guaranteed by the US Constitution and Bill of Rights should attend this assembly on Jan 3rd at 7 pm to be held at Character First, 520 W. Main in OKC. 
State Representative Charles Key and Senator Constance Johnson will be special guest speakers at the assembly and will inform attendees about current proposals before the State Legislature that would protect Oklahoma citizens’ private data from being exposed.  Several Bills have been submitted by Oklahoma legislators that specifically address the collection, sharing and retention of personal information and biometrics that put all Americans at risk such as the REAL ID ACT.

The Tenth Amendment Resolution HJR 1003, authored by Representative Key, presents fair notice to Washington that Oklahoma will not be intimidated into relinquishing legal authority, responsibility or jurisdiction over matters reserved to the state as declared Tenth Amendment to the US Constitution which reserves all powers not granted to the federal government to the state or the people.

Mark Lerner, leading expert on the biometrics industry, founding member of the Constitutional Alliance will be present to give an update on the latest news regarding parallel efforts to resist untenable national/global ID schemes.  The Constitutional Alliance is a non-partisan coalition of Americans committed to preserving state and national sovereignty and the unalienable rights to life, liberty, and property. The Right to Keep and Bear Arms

As a person who tends to lean more to the left on most issues, I have to draw the line in the sand when it comes to the 2^nd Amendment to our Bill of Rights. This one amendment, more than any other signifies our freedom. This is the marker that separates us from other countries and societies. We have the freedom and the right to keep and bear arms. We have the right to defend ourselves…..even from our own government.

The repeated calls for repealing the 2^nd Amendment, or efforts to diminish its intent, usually come after yet another disturbing incident that was allowed to go totally out of control, and then incessantly broadcast by what is supposed to be our news sources until we reach a point of saturation. This is quickly followed by calls for disarming American’s.

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear here; If someone is intent on killing you or several of you, not having a gun will not stop them. People are poisoned, stabbed, strangled, beaten to death, set on fire and die from multiple causes inflicted by another individual every day of the week. This is not because American’s have the right to own guns.

 

             I find it odd that more people die each year from drunk drivers than from gun incidents. Yet no one calls for another prohibition. There are no passionate pleas to ban alcohol; no diatribes on how alcohol consumption is killing innocent people. Besides, this might infringe on YOUR rights.

The right to keep and bear arms is not the cause of rampage killings. It’s the individual who decided to kill other human beings who is the cause. A gun can kill no one until an individual picks it up and uses it. Just like knives can’t stab anyone unless someone picks them up and uses them as a weapon. In a fatal car crash resulting from drunk driving……who or what is at fault; the vehicle or the driver?

The flaw in all the arguments for banning private gun ownership is that somehow by taking away this right, everything will be just peachy. It won’t be. The same individuals who are intent on inflicting injury or death to others will simply find some other means of getting the job done. People are the real threat……not the weapons they choose. Taking away the right to own guns does not and will not reduce that threat.

When the Bill of Rights was assembled, the second most important issue to the founders was this right to keep and bear arms. Of all the other rights enumerated, this was paramount in establishing a free society. They also knew that it is only when government has worked secretly against its own people they become afraid of them and seek to disarm them.

The 2^nd Amendment is the lynch pin of our freedom. As a nation we identify ourselves as free people by virtue of the fact that we can keep and bear arms if we choose to. And it is exactly this reason that so many want to see it repealed. The loss of this right would be psychologically devastating as so many would see it for what it is…..the true end of our freedom.

Right now the major source for attacks on the 2^nd Amendment, are being directed through the United Nations. Yesterday, Senator Obama put a bill on the floor of the senate called the Global Poverty Act. This act would mandate not only a 7% tax on our GDP, but also calls for the banning of small arms. Small arms and weapons includes, hunting rifles and shotguns, not just handguns.

Attacks on the 2^nd Amendment have come from all quarters. The efforts to paint it as “all liberals want to ban guns, and all conservatives don’t” is just more staging. The fact is, our government wants us disarmed; its just that no one wants to be seen as the perpetrator of this unconstitutional infringement on our rights.

Using the UN to implement the disarming of America also makes us vulnerable to international law as opposed to our own sovereign laws. International law does not recognize the right of the individual to defend himself, claiming that to do so is a crime in its self.

The UN also claims that this ban is necessary to protect women and children, and those who wish to commit suicide. This would be the same UN that sits by idly while hundreds of thousands die as a result of genocide. Where are there concerns about women and children and the suicidal then?

The real aim of the Global Poverty Act and its intent to disarm America is to make sure that we have no way to fight back. And as Americans, we most likely would.

For those who disagree with this, don’t worry about it. Once the North American Union is established we won’t have any rights at all, much less the 2^nd Amendment. One of the first things that will be done after the merger is complete is to abolish the bill of rights and then to disarm the public….. leaving you completely at the mercy of the military and local law enforcement.
