_____________________________________________
I am not voting in the next presidential election. And, I don’t want to hear how if I don’t vote I have no right to complain about how things are or what some political puppet is doing that is unconstitutional, unlawful or just plain stupid. Yes, I do have the right to complain: just as I have a right to refrain from contributing to this national charade we call “voting”.
I refuse to allow people to claim that I have only myself to blame if Evil-doer #1 (R) got elected and they think that I voted for the bum, and now he is breaking every campaign promise and doing exactly the opposite of what he said he would do, and now this is somehow my fault….my personal failing…..because the guy turns out to be a jerk. I voted for him (supposedly) so I have only myself to blame if I don’t’ like the way things are. I refuse to vote. I can’t win. We can’t win.
I don’t want to hear how our fore-fathers died in countless wars of aggression so that I could have the right to vote. That’s not what they died for. Voting was never what they died for unless voting has [.Inc] after it. (I guess it does)
I refuse to be made complicit in selecting the next New World Order flunky. Not that my vote would count; our votes are not counted. Diebold, Sequoia and other electronic voting machine manufacturers have seen to it that no matter how we, the public, fill out those ballots the machines magically produce the candidate selected for us prior to the election. Electronic voting machine manufacturers were well paid for their uncompromising commitment to rigging elections. After all, why leave anything to chance and leave open the possibility that the people’s choice might actually get elected. That could really mess things up if we actually had a legitimate candidate that hadn’t been vetted and pre-approved by the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bilderberger’s, the Trilateral Commission and various shadowy figures that seem to slip in and out of the shadowy halls of government insisting on having their way.
And besides, we might be depriving those highly connected controllers of elections of the simple pleasure of watching us walk away from another election in a state of shock, knowing that the voting was decidedly in favor of one candidate and yet someone else “won”.
I am not willing to enter some voting booth and be forced to choose between Evil-doer # 1 (R) or Evil-doer #2 (D), even one more time. Besides, if Evil-doer #1 (R) has already been decided on as our next dictator-in-waiting, I could stand there and fill ballots for Evil-doer #2 (D) all day long and the handy dandy electronic voting machine would convert my ballot choices to the pre-approved winner(s). But the point is…..I refuse to be made complicit in my own destruction. I refuse to be forced to decide between which version of Evil-doer I want to be in charge of trashing the constitution, and selling us off to foreign interests and multi-national corporations. I refuse.
I am not about to participate in what amounts to a national day of deceit. I will not join the ranks of those individuals who cling to the idea that being right or left, Democrat or Republican, liberal or conservative means jack-didley-squat anywhere inside the sewer that is the District of Criminals on CRAPital Hill. (Wish I could take credit for those descriptive terms, but I can’t). Inside the beltway is one big giant party dedicated to deconstructing the sovereign United States. They aren’t left or right, Democrat or Republican except when there is a photo op or a camera close by….or when we engage in the national deceits that are our elections and they need to appear to be opposed to each other for affect. Out of sight, they work together to destroy as much of what is left of us as a country, as quickly as possible. I refuse to contribute to this.
We have allowed this two party system, complete with crooks, philanderer’s, liars, thieves, corruption, anti-American activities, phony religious panderers, New World Order supporters, UN promoters, North American Union facilitators, and in many cases….sexual perverts, to run roughshod over us. Many of us have allowed ourselves to be convinced that we cannot tolerate a third or fourth party because it might ruin the chances of the pre-selected winner to actually “win” or to claim a land-slide. That could actually be a good thing….but then there’s that little problem with those rigged voting machines. Even so, a great deal of effort is expended by the Big 2 to denigrate, marginalize and render third or fourth party candidates pretty much persona non gratis at the voting booth. Those who still mindlessly cling to this phony left v right paradigm wail endlessly at the prospect of a third party candidate supposedly derailing the vaulted candidate, possibly stealing victory from his/her clenched fists. Oh! The tragedy of it all! Of course none of this would be possible without the cooperation of Lame Street Media.
The rest of you can, of course, do as you please. If you feel like pulling those levers or blackening in those little ovals on a ballot and slipping that ballot into that rigged machine..by all means…do it. Whether you vote or you don’t vote, no matter how that election turns out….its going to be all your fault anyway. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. I prefer the “don’t”. I don’t think I could take putting my name on another pointless ballot and knowing that I continued, simply by choosing to participate, to support or consent to the ongoing destruction of our country.
The only vote I could cast in good conscience is : NO CONFIDENCE. Otherwise, I refuse to participate.

There is hope for people like you and me I recently found out thatyou can vote and not vote at the same time! We have a legal right to REFUSE to vote for all parties on the list. When you go to your polling station you need to tell them that you want to refuse your vote or ballot. This will be marked as a refusal or something similar and will be counted SEPERATELY from all spoiled ballots. Which will show how many people feel there is NO good choice hope that helps.

Amen. People don’t even know what they are buying. They don’t read labels. Then they wonder why they are broke and unhappy. Then they believe the politicians who want us to believe there isn’t enough food or enough of stuff. But there is when you buy products made with integrity. By your logic, then you should not buy anything ever from a corporate producer–including cars, electronics and groceries from mainstream stores or pharmaceutical drugs–because every time you purchase you are voting with your money. It’s all so far gone now you have to pick your battles and unfortunately, whether we like it or not we are all in the middle of the fray every day with criminals who are run by big banks. Sometimes you have to play in degrees to make changes.

Don’t forget–things happen in degrees. Just because something is being rigged from behind the scenes doesn’t mean it is perfectly rigged. Even the best riggers fail. Computers are full of variables and computer hackers who rig the system fail and get exposed all the time. There are tipping points and when everybody votes it makes a lot more work within the system to manipulate false numbers-especially when more people are watching. The biggest mistake we make is believing there are only one of two avenues–there are a million possible ways the future can go based on a million different choices. So don’t think voting or not voting creates such predictable outcomes. Outcomes are always full of variables.

The only real power we have in this country now is on how we spend or don’t spend our $$. Boycott corporations like GE who made Billions in profit last year and paid no taxes. Spend your $$ on needed items only, food, clothes etc and not on more electronic gadgets, expensive fashions, un-needed material things. Politicians are blood suckers, take from the workers, middle class, poor and elderly and give more and more to the wealthy and corporations. The “new” teaparty politicians collected millions from the same special interest they preached about. This government has been so corrupt for decades that it is now well beyond repair. The Patriot Act was installed so they could shoot down and jail protesters, even peaceful ones. we are living in a Nazi oppression country and tyranny from our corporate owned government. We need a full scale revolution, but the bastards knew people were fed up and now the Patriot Act will kill off any type revolution. Many laughed when informed people warned about the “new World Order” which has been in the making for decades and decades, laughed when people said that JFK was killed in a conspiracy same as RFK and MLK. They still believe the lies the govt told them about 911. They don’t want to hear about the poisens in our food, air and water. Just give them their “American Idol” and leave them aone! That is the way it is folks. Elections are rigged, stolen and no one in government does anything about it. Obama doesn’t want to bring to justice the bankers who caused the housing collapse. The GOP want to kill off the elderly so they don’t have to give out SS and Medicare and they want to make sure no one inthe future can get these programs. In fact these are the only programs that the govt runs wells, except that they have been raiding the SS funds for decades and never put the $$ back. There is so much evidence about our corrupt government and politicians if people really wanted to know the truth! We have the best government MONEY can buy! Americans have sat nonchalantly for years! In the political gold mine, the politicians get the gold and the citizens get the shaft! The Democrats and the Republicans are crooks, it is just a matter of which crook will better look out for the Average American, the Middle Class, elderly and poor. The answer is none! Many politicians preach the bible, but not the true meaning of the bible! They preach Christianity, but not what Jesus belived, but Jesus wasn’t for the big corporations, he was for the average people, th hungry, the poor, the elderly etc…
FDR said it best: ” The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.” Our government has become ” For the corporation and by the corporation!” We are no longer the United States of America!

…Your all right of course – the election is not the real vote. The real vote occurs everytime you spend a dollar. When you buy a particular national/global corp’s product or services then you are voting by proxy through the very corp. that is funding/corrupting these clueless/spineless politicians.
…We consumers still rule, we have only to wield that power by making the right choices. Take your money out of the game, whenever possible find other more local ways to meet your needs, but most of all – unplug that boob-tube and set it out on the curb so you’ll stop parroting the propaganda.

This idea of “saving the republic” by voting is very naive.
This isn’t a sovereign nation, there is no “republic” and there hasn’t been for a very long time. People believing this myth are deluding themselves.
This region is ruled by decree and manipulated by the Public Relations Regime, which is a form of high tech necromancy enchanting the people hypnotized by electronic media. Voting is an empty ritual, worse than a waste of time, it is compliance with a criminal system, a form of submission and obedience.
It is all just theater.

An excellent commentary Mr Boering. I have always wondered what happens when the majority don’t want war and ALL political candidates back it. [It is a real scream that Obama is doing a reverse Vietnam in Iraq – replacing the army with private sector mercenaries. What a complete toe rag?] Is that anarcy? Taking aside the anti-democratic SELECTION process, the USA has been an elected dictatorship for some time now (some might argue – for all time). Taking aside that all laws are scrutinised by a special commitee to ensure they don’t offend the Jews and their Zionist-Atheist-Communist masters – and I thought the Pilgrim Fathers were Christian? Taking aside the entrenched denial of many Americans (as vouched by many comments to this article). Taking all this aside, the best protest of the 99% and the OWS would be to not only boycott the next election, but make it known that that is the intention.
You want to really frighten the NWO and see real change….not Obama bluff, bluster and short change….down tools “en masse”.

Then, you are told that “you got what you voted for!”. We need to STOP being CHUMPS and STOP voting. The criminal controllers will panic if the masses virtually stop voting – they NEED the masses to believe that they (masses) are in control via the “vote”. When the masses no longer believe that – revolution shortly follows.

Although we live in a cesspool of corruption, where the power brokers are established to get power and gain, taking this course of action, which is no course of action, only plays into the hands of those who are trying to destroy our form of government.
My recommended course of action is simple: do what you can. My dad used to say, “‘Every little bit helps,’ said the little old lady as she pissed into the ocean while her husband was drowning.'” Although humorous, this nation cannot survive in any recognizable form if we allow Obama another four years in office. He has frozen drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico and is quashing the oil pipeline from Canada. The latter means a million jobs right off the top.
The American people are angry, and rightly so; however, doing nothing accomplishes nothing. We might not always have great options, but there are forces of good working for us. Refusing to vote, to me, is like committing suicide. It’s the easy way out. Mr. Boering accomplishes nothing and, worse, he advocates doing nothing. We cannot expect God’s help by taking this course. As horrible as the McCain ticket was in 2008, few can argue that he would have taken us down the destructive course Obama has. And as liberal and out of touch as McCain was, we ended up getting the most liberal Congressman in office: a blatant Marxist who has done more damage to this country than any enemy we’ve ever encountered.
So look, do (or don’t do) as you wish. But my philosophy is to take the best course of action you have available. It may be a bum choice, but Mr. Boering’s do nothing course is like taking one’s foot off the brake as we reel off the road. I’ll continue to make the best choices I have and to reap the consequences. But doing nothing is not an option. I voted for Ross Perot years ago, but our country was not on the verge of ruin. We’re in a very different situation now.

Great post. And why do politicians sell out? Because the people let them sell out. The “people” depend upon the big corporate interests just like the politicians do. The “people” spend all their money and resources supporting the very groups who seek to destroy them. Instead of patronizing local producers, they are in thrall to the big centralized systems. So the politicians are in the middle–merely reflecting what irresponsible citizens create.

All I can say is thank God you are not president. Based on your logic, the president should never have a dialogue with anyone he disagrees with. He should be a bigot and hater–and at the same time he should be flawless, without making any mistakes in his life. That is the very logic, which allows BIg Banks and Corporations to run our lives–because people like you don’t care that their agendas kill people. But what you don’t get is that the big guys are busy killing you from within. Your arcane way of thinking is simply useless.

Exactly. People are dependent on Corporations and politicians–like a bunch of suckling babies. They think life is about big cars, big houses, big plates of processed food and big televisions they can use to watch other people with big cars, big houses and the next big thing. The current lifestyle is the opposite of American–America was supposed to be about being self reliant–getting away from the control of the corporate King.
When you start living local and living on less you realize you don’t need what “they” say you do in the media. There is plenty to be had–and it’s more satisfying when you are more self reliant and live and do business locally.
All it takes is a small percentage of people to seek out local commodities and to pursue alternative technologies–which exist–but which get hidden by for profits. Wake up.

First, the elections are rigged because WE allow this to be. All not voting does is hand our country to them on a platter. It is time to take it back.
This (and previous) administration is full of Domestic Enemies of the US. “Domestic enemies pursue legislation, programs against the powers of the US Constitution. They work on destroying and weakening the Rights of the People guaranteed by the Constitution. Plus they create laws, amendments, etc that goes against the restraint on the three branches of our government by the Constitution”.
The three branches of our government, the military, all law enforcement, all Heads of the States, all federal employees are required to take an Oath to support and defend the Constitution and NOT an individual leader, ruler, office, or entity to get into the Office or Position they want.
They Must keep that Oath until they leave office or position they currently occupy to be able to continue to stay in that position.
If they do not keep that Oath, they make themselves Domestic Enemies of the USA.
Then they no longer meet the legal requirements for them to stay in that position or office and must be replaced.
This means that right now pretty much the three branches of our government is filled with domestic enemies because they did not “Preserve, Protect, and Defend the US Constitution” (POTUS) or did not “Support and Defend the US Constitution”. That means they no longer can be in the Office or Position they are currently occupying.
With domestic enemies of the Constitution within the highest levels of our government, what are we to do? Fire them, they are illegally there by their own actions or inactions.
What are the sworn defenders (Law Enforcement and Military) to do? Arrest them, charge them, escort them out of office, hold them until we can replace the domestic enemies within Judicial branch.
At what point is non-political action necessary? Now. It is time for arrests and charges. Then replacing them.
Think about this: If there was never intended to be action to defend the Constitution from those who are domestically attempting to destroy its power and authority, why would each Oath require such?

I have an even weirder scenario for you. Long range planning psychopaths make sure they have a backup plan in case the “unwashed masses” get too restless. They allow Ron Paul to become Potus, then squish him from all sides.
If he is genuine and not just controlled oposition, then he gets “lone gunman treatment,” thus sparking a revolution (which will be infiltrated and controlled from within). If he turns out to be a plant then the biggest psy-ops game ever will ensue. RP would then make fake attempts to accomplish populist agenda and get shut down hard. Then most would except defeat like good little slaves when they realized no one could “save” them. Did it ever occur that looking to a candidate-any candidate-to be your savior is just one more form of dependancy on big brother and government worship as well? Great article.
You’ve got to realize that the elections are a very sinister psychological ploy to implicate us in our own demise. It’s as though they give us a choice of a noose or swallowing poison. And then they can exult and say either You voted for us or You didn’t vote so you can’t complain.
The best comment is by Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party who says we are presented with a choice of selecting the evil of two lessers!
Here’s my comments about our bogus election system.
1. we have one party, the Republocraps.
2. they are the only ones “partying”, and at our expense.
3. we vote for them but they never vote for us. only for their corporate sponsors
4. politicians are simply professional bribe takers, passing laws to the highest bidder.
5. politicians should not be able to receive public salaries, but rather the same corporations, banks and lobbyists who pay for their elections should pay for their salaries while they are in office. that way the perversion of our system will be clear and apparent to all.

If enough of us have the right person in our collective mind/heart then we would KNOW in an instant that the jerk that the paper or electronic machine spits back at us is a fraud and election tampering has taken place. These dissidents don’t realize they are going to be the first ones the government goes after. They are accomplishing nothing. Just like I put out literature by the thousands out for 20 years, but probably accomplished nothing other than someone might have learned a little. These dissidents think if they have all this following they will get something done. But I feel the ones who want to learn what’s going on will go out and learn on their own. It takes years to learn reading hundreds of books and you can’t just sit there for an hour and overload people with info. Your best bet is to just throw a comment or two out there like “Those Jews seem to kill people who try to take supplies to others.” But all in all you can spend your time reading books and then try to condense it and talk to someone and they think you’re a freak. People who write books get people to learn, but talking unless it’s a very close friend or relative, just leave it alone. Never ever has some one argued with someone and that person said, you are right.

Unless we can work together, then we just as well do nothing, because a mob gwts nothing done. When they protested the Vietnam War they didn’t shorten the war. Because they didn’t kill people. When someone like JFK is killed it sets us back 50 years. But we don’t use that option. We just riot and try to vote and complain. We need to start using the killing option. ELECTIONS ARE JUST A FACADE.
Every 4-5 years people are told to DEAL/BEAR so-called democratic DICTATOR.
Why does one need leader when there is power to people, however you need leader when there is NO power to people!
They make fool every 4-5 years and remember THOSE WHO CAST VOTE DON’T ELECT but THOSE WHO COUNT VOTE ELECT!
Make a real change by providing POWER to PEOPLE and not LEADERS, since now-a-day almost every leader is on SALE and acts as PUPPET for ELITE!
MAKE THAT PARADIGM SHIFT in 2012 by enabling POWER to PEOPLE and not FAKE LEADERS!

Elections are held on the week-end
Voting as a way of life
Being a Swiss citizen is hard work. Well, that’s democracy
http://www.economist.com/node/2403566
“FORTUNATE events have put me at the head of the French government, but I would consider myself incapable of governing the Swiss,” Napoleon Bonaparte told a Swiss delegation in 1802.
Switzerland’s federalist past goes back much further, however: to August 1st 1291. After the death of Emperor Rudolf I, a particularly unpopular Habsburg overlord, the people of three small cantons in central Switzerland, Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden, got together to conclude a co-operation pact, the Bundesbrief. In 1315 the three cantons won the battle of Morgarten, prevailing with a tiny band of men against a huge Habsburg army, which encouraged other cantons to join them. In time these voluntary agreements formed the basis of the Swiss Willensnation—a nation created by acts of free will by a diverse people.
Swiss democracy works from the bottom up. Starting at the lowest level, much of the action takes place in Switzerland’s 2,800-odd communities. Some of these elect their own parliament, but most have a traditional community assembly (which generally meets indoors these days, though a few still assemble on the village green) where all citizens over 18 can turn up and speak their mind.

I understand the outrage and suggest getting involved to stamp out voter fraud. This is from Devvy Kidd:
“What can I do”? I’m asked that all the time. My first response is you will have to do as I have done for 16 long years: give up your free time and dedicate yourself to getting the job done. I do it seven days a week because it is my duty, my responsibility to do my part in keeping this republic from going under.
Blackboxvoting.org has put together a comprehensive kit that YOU and those you know can use to get the message out and how to do it. There’s no cost to read this document:

When are people going to realize they vote by being responsible–by how they make and spend their money. The only honest living is to run your own business or work for someone you believe in. Period. Give up your big giant cars and live honest. If enough people did that, we wouldn’t have to have these fear-based conversations. The big structures would naturally topple.

Corporations are ultimately bought and sold by BIG BANKS–. So FOLLOW THE MONEY–it comes down to where you spend your money.

Write in your candidate and get on the election board. They usually need people and not too many are willing to give up their time. When you are there, you can help count the votes.

As our liberties are sold to the highest bidder in corporate America they somehow think that the people cannot see. Our electric company is touting an
” energy saving” program with a slick brochure. Not a word about the smart meter that will hook you into the control of your electricity. Talk about deceptive.
The only reason I watch television any more is to see what they are up to next. The number and content of ads that try to control our perceptions of reality is just too much.

If this is really the way it is or how you see it (I don’t disagree) than it must be time for a revoluton ? Beyond the scope of the next pres election, something bigger is brewing and it is evil. Life as we know it they plan to replace with mega cities, people piled on top of each other. No home/land ownership, cars, freedome and everything we consume and breath is all controlled and monitored. The plan itself they predict wll kill 3 billion people.
Agenda 21 is nationwide, it has begun, also called sustainable livng, re-forestation project, etc. It sounds innocent enough but it is far from it!
Please become informed, spread the word! Some cities are rejecting it, we need to attend our town meetings and protest this along with the new smart meters, we are elready exposed to enough harmful stuff.
“… God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy,
the forerunner of death to the public liberty…. And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”
Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334 (C.J. Boyd, Ed., 1950)
We are so overdue! I am waiting, I am willing & ha ha I am woman as well!

The reason you should vote is you never know at what level key changes can be seeded. Just because big money cartels run the world doesn’t mean a single person can’t help shift some things-even if he knows he’s walking through land mines. (Anyway, if the other candidates had won the last election we’d be dealing with a half-senile vet who thinks Vietnam is still going on and a semi-educated cheerleader who things the Rapture or end of the world is like an inevitable gunfight at the O-K Corral.)
If you want to boycott politics, then boycott the powers that be above government. Quit buying your food and goods from large corporate companies and buy local. Watch how your whole life changes. If you buy local food, for instance, that isn’t processed–it will taste better and make you healthier. And it will help a small businessperson survive—which as we know is key if we are every going to thrive.

Excellent post. I have argued several of your points over the past years as to why I do not participate in the election process of idiots. You have given more ammunition…thank you.
