Every one needs to check your electric meter, especially if it has been changed recently. If an FCC number appears on the face, you are under surveillance. The smart meter transmits a constant stream of information to the power provider. This information includes when you are awake, when you sleep and everything you do in between. It informs the provider constantly about all activity in your house.
Anyone who cares to buy the information transmitted by your meter may do so. The police, insurance companies, actually anyone who comes to think they must have an interest in what you are doing in the privacy of your home. Since these meters are radio devices this amounts to warrantless wiretapping. It is the ultimate surveillance system.
While these devices are installed with the false promise of reducing your power bill, the truth will hit you full force when you open the first bill you receive after installation of the smart meter. Your power bill will have doubled, minimally, but more likely, quadrupled.
Here is a brief clip from the certified letter that you must send to the power company, certified mail, prohibiting the installation of a smart meter on your home or apartment:
8. It is possible for example, with analysis of certain “Smart Meter” data, for unauthorized and distant parties to determine medical conditions, sexual activities, physical locations of persons within the home, vacancy patterns and personal information and habits of the occupants.
More than 15 million homes are already under total surveillance.
So what can you do to protect yourself from a surveillance free-for-all? You copy and send this letter below, retrieved from minivanjack’s youtube channel, as certifed legal copy of your refusal to allow the meter company implied consent.

NOTICE OF NO CONSENT TO TRESPASS AND SURVEILLANCE, NOTICE OF LIABILITY
Dear (Energy Provider) and all agents, officers, employees, contractors and interested parties,
If you intend to install a “Smart Meter” or any activity monitoring device at the above address, you and all other parties are hereby denied consent for installation and use of all such device on the above property and installation and use of any activity monitoring device is hereby refused and prohibited. Informed consent is legally required for installation of any surveillance device and any device that will collect and transmit private and personal data to undisclosed and unauthorized parties for undisclosed and unauthorized purposes. Authorization for sharing of personal and private information may only be given by the originator and subject of that information. That authorization is hereby denied and refused with regard to the above property and all its occupants. “Smart Meters” violate the law and cause endangerment to residents by the following factors:
1. They individually identify electrical devices inside the home and record when they are operated causing invasion of privacy.
2. They monitor household activity and occupancy in violation of rights and domestic security.
3. They transmit wireless signals which may be intercepted by unauthorized and unknown parties. Those signals can be used to monitor behavior and occupancy and they can be used by criminals to aid criminal activity against the occupants.
4. Data about occupant’s daily habits and activities are collected, recorded and stored in permanent databases which are accessed by parties not authorized or invited to know and share that private data.
5. Those with access to the smart meter databases can review a permanent history of household activities complete with calendar and time-of-day metrics to gain a highly invasive and detailed view of the lives of the occupants.
6. Those databases may be shared with, or fall into the hands of criminals, blackmailers, law enforcement, private hackers of wireless transmissions, power company employees, and other unidentified parties who may act against the interests of the occupants under metered surveillance.
7. “Smart Meters” are, by definition, surveillance devices which violate Federal and State wiretapping laws by recording and storing databases of private and personal activities and behaviors without the consent or knowledge of those people who are monitored.
8. It is possible for example, with analysis of certain “Smart Meter” data, for unauthorized and distant parties to determine medical conditions, sexual activities, physical locations of persons within the home, vacancy patterns and personal information and habits of the occupants.
9. Your company has not adequately disclosed the particular recording and transmission capabilities of the smart meter, or the extent of the data that will be recorded, stored and shared, or the purposes to which the data will and will not be put.
I forbid, refuse and deny consent of any installation and use of any monitoring, eavesdropping, and surveillance devices on my property, my place of residence and my place of occupancy. That applies to and includes “Smart Meters” and activity monitoring devices of any and all kinds. Any attempt to install any such device directed at me, other inhabitants, guests, my property or residence will constitute trespass, stalking, wiretapping and unlawful surveillance, all prohibited and punishable by law through criminal and civil complaints. All persons, government agencies and private organizations responsible for installing or operating monitoring devices directed at or recording my activities, which I have not specifically authorized in writing, will be fully liable for any violations, intrusions, harm or negative consequences caused or made possible by those devices whether those negative consequences are justified by “law” or not..
This is legal notice. After this delivery the liabilities listed above may not be denied or avoided by parties named and implied in this notice.

Don’t know where you are Tai. Most likely your meter was installed without your request or permission. There are most likely groups in your area fighting back against these things.

I know this is done to my house. I called the FCC after I saw sparks flying from the outlets and heard voices through the outlets. The wouldn’t help. I’ve seen my kids convulse, my husband and I both have heart damage. If you can help anyway God bless you.

No one is denying them access to the meters. That is the only condition under which power shut off would apply. You are confused Jack……the consumer is required only to provide access to the meter. since virtually all of them are installed on the outside of homes……what’s the problem buddy? Or are you maybe one of those trolls who work for these sicko’s? You sound a little to arrogant to just be a regualr poster

Actually Jack…..
There is a difference between energy monitoring and unwarranted surveillance and wiretap and failure to totally disclose what is in fact an unrevealed contract. These meters do far more than monitor energy. These meters track everything you are doing in your home with regards to the use of appliances, water, technical equipment, and when and how long you did it. Thta is no ones business.
Former Secretary Gates has raised the alarm about the vulnerability of the system and national security.
This is NOT an “opt-out” system, but rather an “opt-in”. You must be offered and accept the meter or request it. If you do neither of those things……no contract. There is no federal mandate and all of this was done under PURPA regulations which only state that the states and untilities must consider this option but are not compelled to comply.
These meters are dangerous to public health. Those who knowingly violate property rights, individual rights and proceed under the color of law while claiming they are operating under a claimed fiction of law which they cannot produce because it doesn’t exist are subject to futre penalties.
So are you suggesting that people allow them selves to be extorted for bogus fees or be coerced into having one of these dangerous meters installed because some unethical utility took several millions in grants and put profits above the public health?
And just maybe Jack……some of these individuals who are pushing these hideous things will fall ill from the affects of having radiation pumped into their homes 24/7. Now that would be justice.
We have more than a thousand people who have sent this letter to various utility companies……they not only do not have one of these silent killers hanging off their house….they also still have their power. And contrary to your comment……refusing the meter cannot be used to disconnect anyone from their power. You should have read those regulations a little more thoroughly.

Do you realize that a regular dial meter is an energy monitoring device? If you send this letter, you can legally be disconnected from any power service. The power company has the legal right to demand access to the meter and if access is not provided, the power company has the legal right to refuse providing power service to you. Keep going and you will get what you are asking for.

the meters may belong to ConEd…….but the property they are installing them on…..is not. They also claim they have “easements”……those are good only up to the property line. This is at the very least a trespass to chattel.
I know of no one whose business or life was interferred with or disrupted because a meter reader came by.
I would inform ConEd that you will be charging them a storage fee for the meter installed on your home….after all, as they themselves said……they own it. What is it doing on your property?

I mailed a letter just like the one above and just got this response from conedison of NY:
“If the meters can measure the amount of energy a customer uses and can transmit that information accurately without our needing to enter a bustomers’ home or business and the customer can be billed to actual readings without interrupting their normal day having to wait for a meter reader, it is to the advantage of the customer and conedison to utilize these types of meters.
The meters are conedison’s property. It is our duty and responsibility to maintain and upgrade them when necessary. We do not need our customers’ permission to do so.”
in other words they told me to go and (take a hike) myself.
Where would I find how to respond to this? Do I need to after I served the letter?

add this…..
If any such device has been installed without which I have not specifically authorized in writing, such device will be disabled, disconected, and or bypassed, without penalty or negative consequences, allowing customer to receive an unmetered supply of power until a ‘non-smart’ meter is re-installed.

SMART METERS LINKED TO CANCER.
Utility Companies based previous safety claims on World Health Organization (WHO).
But May 31 2011, WHO says Wireless Smart Meter radiation is linked to CANCER (possible Class 2-B human carcinogen – same as Lead, DDT, etc), and so it likely also damages bodies & brains (including children’s) in many additional ways sooner than cancer.
Doesn’t this automatically end the mandatory installation of Wireless smart meters in Civilized Nations?

2. WIRELESS SMART METERS – CANCER, NERVOUS SYSTEM DAMAGE, ADVERSE REPRODUCTION AFFECTS.

Also, Smart meters do NOT reduce energy use.
Only (1) Higher prices and (2) More knowledge about how to conserve reduce energy usage. Smart meters have NO impact.
The information from 99% of Smart meters is NOT real time and it is NOT formatted for customer use. Fancy color graphs of previous usage and having to go on-line to see them on the utility company website does NOT lower energy usage.

Those signals can ALSO be used to MODIFY behavior and occupancy and they can be used by criminals (typically people with access or knowledge of such technology like Engineering or Technical industry workers in their spare time) to aid criminal activity against the occupants.
These are ‘neurotech emitters’ that can severly harm or unbalance health, or cause effects as in rape via uncontrollable compulsive drinking, and compulsive gambling, or theft cases, and even arson via material’s agitating technology all applied at distance.
USA had better get it’s act in order so that 3rd world countries feel a need to match accountability instead of aping bad examples. The tendency is to look towards the BRICS nations these days.

Please be warned that Malaysia’s urban areas have under cognition of BOTH incumbent and opposition political parties are also involved in use of such devices against citizens. I’d advise all tourists and foreigners to be very cautious when dealing with the locals.
Besides inducing paralysis and lapses in consciousness and suppression of consciousness, other effects such as induced ill health from lymph node manipulation to simple constipation to causing of heart palpitations are a threat that can be encountered at any time should abusive locals decide to harrass those not aware of such technologies.
