I’m probably as sick and tired of white supremacist canard as you are. I keep harping on it because I’m convinced it is a perfect storm, that is to say a chance for the state to aggravate already record-high political division to the boiling point and exploit it in order to expand the police state and outlaw free speech as terrorism and providing aid and comfort to Nazis, fascists, white supremacists, and nationalists.

Of course, this dinky minority (even the SPLC puts their numbers at a few thousand), is not a threat, at least not a threat on the scale of weekly shootings and murders in Chicago.

The state and its media have blurred the lines between actual neo-Nazis and Trump-supporting “conservatives,” who are indeed MAGA nationalists, not racist white nationalists. The race part was added after Trump won the election. It fits the Identity Politics credo that declares all white people (especially white males) are somehow privileged and owe billions of dollars to “minorities at risk.”

You know it is serious when the editorial board of the Gray Lady of Propaganda posts the following:

The awesome power of the state would work tirelessly to deny future terrorists access to weaponry, money and forums to spread their ideology. The movement would be infiltrated by spies and informants. Its financiers would face sanctions. Places of congregation would be surveilled. Those who gave aid or comfort to terrorists would be prosecuted. Programs would be established to de-radicalize former adherents.

The “awesome power of the state” was demonstrated when it incinerated men, women, and children at Waco, or when members of MOVE were incinerated (along with the rest of the neighborhood) in Philadelphia.

Whatever the Southern Poverty Law (Lie) Center may have done in the past that would have merited respect has long since gone the way of most organizations that lose their way when they are suddenly treated as if they actually still retain any value.  This organization that makes its living reviving McCarthyism with all the paranoia and viciousness it can muster is a blight on America.  It is my belief that we need to compile our own list of threats to America, and SPLC would top that list. 

Until a few years back, I was a registered Democrat and had been all my adult life.  I left that party along with any other political affiliation due to the corruption in government at the hands of politicians who did and still do violate our Constitution and our rights while they wage phony wars for profit and who will sell us out to the highest corporate bidder.  It was individuals from both major party’s who initiated the wholesale destruction of our rights; it was and is presidents representing both major party’s who encouraged and condoned these things.  I take these assaults on the Constitution and my rights very seriously.  For me, this is very personal and I reserve my Constitutional right to dissent and to voice that dissent without a gaggle of otherwise unemployable and paranoid hacks creating lists of fictional threats. 

It is apparent that the only “research” done to compile their lists is on the net.  Anyone (like me) who points out the corruption of the government, who questions their authority to violate and abrogate our rights, who publicly expresses their disgust with the loss of our sovereignty due to illegal trade agreements (which are NOT treaty’s as prescribed by the constitution), the selling off of our infrastructure to foreign interests, anyone who realizes that Muslims can’t be the international threat the government claims they are or they wouldn’t continue to allow millions to emigrate to the US (would they?) that Homeland Security exists for no other reason than to protect the government from us. 

If we believe that our right to own property free of government encumbrance, to engage in lawful business activity free of laws protecting corporations  and most especially if we believe that with our economy in shambles and 22 million legal Americans unable to find work that our borders should be secured and illegal residents deported back to their homeland……well, we must all be “hate groups, nativists, ring-wing extremists,” and whatever other fear mongering tags they can come up with to identify those of us who object to the deconstructing of America. 

Well, I lean more to the left , don’t own a gun, don’t belong to any groups and have absolutely no idea why being a “nativist” meaning, a patrotic American citizen, is a bad thing unless of course you are a member of SPLC and then you are fearful and suspicious of anyone who isn’t you.

One of the most reviled organizations to come to the forefront in recent years is the Southern Poverty Law (Lie) Center.  Whatever this organization was originally intended to be, it has since morphed into a generator of fabricated “facts” which seldom bear any resemblance to the truth.  But the pay is really good and right now they are on the short list of White House and Homeland Security “favs”.  

The reviving of McCarthyism via the SPLC, is unnerving to many of us of a certain age.  We remember the red-baiting, the commie scares, the malicious maligning of individuals that resulted during the reign of McCarthy.  At that time every one was afraid to speak about anything for fear of reprisal from the McCarthy-ites; a reprisal that could see you jailed, personally ruined, out of work; The effects would last long after McCarthy was dethroned as the #1 Commie hunter in the government. Many people never recovered socially, professionally or emotionally from being targeted and hunted by McCarthy and his henchmen. And Potok like McCarthy had nothing to evidence his accusations other than his own self induced paranoia. Potok seems to want to emulate McCarthy.

21st Century Wire The Southern Poverty Law Center’s latest Associated Press release entitled, Baffling beliefs mark Sovereign Citizen theories, is the organization’s most recent effort to marginalize large blocks of the population it deems to be a domestic threat. Examination of this, as well as other documents, reveals a systematic pattern of media manipulation and disinformation aimed squarely at the American people.

In the latest release the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) identifies,  “the number of people who now consider themselves sovereign citizens, Americans above the law who adhere only to the Constitution and follow a revised history of the United States”.

For any students of critical thinking, the SPLC is employing a 20th century propaganda technique known as doublespeak. Here the SPLC attempts to construct the doublethink idea that such Americans who adhere only to the Constitution are “above the law”.

Next it offers out proponents of sound money by railing against them, “The gold standard and bankruptcy: Belief that the country went bankrupt in 1933 when it suspended the gold standard and no longer had collateral to back its loans.” By spinning the conversation in one direction, here the SPLC states what is actual fact in the US and what few economists and historians will argue- that the country is bankrupt and has no real collateral for its loans, but attempts to paint this real-and-present economic reality as a ‘conspiracy theory’ propagated by so-called extremists.

Obama’s Visit to Quincy – Riot Police Intimidate

Well!  Here it is!  Those violent drunkards and bomb throwers, those anti-government, militia, gun-toting radicals at a Tea Party protest.  I can only imagine what the Southern Poverty Lie Center will make of this.  They are probably peeing on themselves right now just watching this video.  Oh!….did you notice the Star Wars fully weaponized riot police who were there for intimidation?  Like I said……the only people showing up with guns are wearing uniforms……wonder if they were bomb-throwing drunkards too?  I’ll have to email the SPLC….surely they will know.

As a country, I believe we have lost our minds.  The corruption in our government is so pervasive, so extraordinarily blatant and so offensive and yet we allow, and some of us even participate in the castigation of those who have the spine to stand up in their own self defense, and yours too!  Many of us participate in the demonizing of anyone who dares to express not only their discontent, but also their rage over the criminal activities that no one even attempts to hide from the public anymore; and why should they?  When anyone does speak out, MSM(for morons) snaps to attention and immediately begins the demonizing and marginalizing of anyone who would be so foolish as to express their constitutional right and duty, to dissent.

I find it not only offensive but also disgusting that instead of supporting those who are trying to reclaim our sovereign rights as states, as individuals, many of us sit rapturously listening to the white-washed propaganda that pretends to be “news”.  If you are too lazy to get up off your butts and support those who are standing up publicly to defend and demand YOUR rights, the least you can do is keep your sorry mouths shut and stop participating and supporting those talking heads who parrot the government line about how these patriots are some kind of big threat to you.   The only people who need to fear the patriot movement are the same people who are dismantling this country a piece at a time and those people go by titles such as senator, representative, secretary, czar, and yes, even president.  And there are more than a few big corporations who are vested stakeholders in this too, and want this movement stopped by any means possible.

Southern Poverty Law (Lie) Center:  This group should be charged under the hate crimes act for intitiating the targeting and public degradation of the patriot movement.

Whatever the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) started out to be, (and research shows this was questionable) it is now intolerable, defined by its intolerance of anyone or any group who doesn’t adhere to its ever changing blacklists comprised of “who we hate today”.  I will reiterate what I have said before; SPLC is the new McCarthyism.  SPLC is the ADL/South; the Anti-defamation league only slightly more virulent in its targeting and maligning of any who dare to oppose it.  The Southern Poverty Law Center has made a profitable business out of selling hate, propaganda and intolerance.  We should call this group by its proper name” The Southern Poverty Lie Center.

Doing a little investigative research it appears there are big bunches of cash to made peddling hate and SPLC is a pro at raising cash; in fact the business of selling imagined and selective hate data has become so profitable that SPLC might stand a chance of losing its 501c3 tax exemption.

…SPLC…spent 89 percent of its total income on fund-raising and administrative costs…

SPLC has become adept at convincing government officials and law enforcement that patriot groups who advocate for the constitution and civil liberties are on the verge of rising up and committing violence; patriots=militia’s, according to SPLC.

A national cancer: Support tyranny or you are a terrorist

Hate of the freedoms, for which America was once known.______________________________

Support, or at least ignore, tyranny or the corporate media might call you a racist, anti-Semite, a terrorist, or all three epithets. Today, vocal, non-violent, civil disagreement or disobedience can be deemed as terrorist activity.

If the federal government labels you as a racist or anti-Semite, they can, with their new “hate” laws, arrest you. If, however, they label you as an “unlawful enemy combatant,” for your out-spoken, anti-tyranny views, “our” government can “legally” have you picked-up, whisked to anyone of over 170 military bases around the world, held indefinitely, and tortured, all with-out charges, or the benefit of any legal defensive, and without any family or friends ever knowing what happen to you. No peaceful revolution is to be allowed in the land of the once brave and free.

As George Orwell wrote, “In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

James Bovard, author of Lost Rights wrote, “Americans have been taught to expect their salvation from government, instead of recognizing government as the most dangerous threat they’ll face in their lives.”

No redress of grievances are are to be allowed in our brave new world: Just take the destruction of our way of life and keep your mouth shut … or else.

 In a report on its web site dated April 2010, entitled “Meet The Patriots,”the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) profiled “36 individuals at the heart of the resurgent [patriot] movement.” (In reading the list, I counted only35 “patriots” and 5 “enablers” for a total of 40. I’m not really sure how the SPLC came up with “36.” Perhaps their ability to count is commensurate with their ability to appreciate patriotism and liberty.) The SPLC (founded by Morris Dees) sees itself as America’s guardian against “right wing militias” and loves to label conservatives and libertarians that it doesn’t like as “extremists.” The SPLC is one of the most ultra-liberal organizations in the country and should be dismissed as a group of paranoid leftists, not worthy of thought or mention.

 

The sad truth is, however, our federal government has chosen to exalt the SPLC to the position of being its “go to” source for information regarding “potential domestic terrorists” and similar characterizations. As a result, the information and reports disseminated by SPLC wind up in police reports and bulletins all over the United States. As an example, the SPLC had its fingerprints all over the infamous MIAC report. One could even question whether the SPLC is merely a front organization for Big Brother.

Therefore, it is highly likely that the report negatively profiling 40 American patriots will find its way into Department of Homeland Security (DHS) fusion centers and be distributed to police agencies all across the country. So, should the 40 people who find themselves targeted by SPLC expect some kind of government/police attention? Are we really that close to Nazi-style persecution in America? If the SPLC has its way, the answer seems to be a definite yes.

I have been quoted, misquoted, loved and hated in many places by many people.  Today I was sent an article from a site called “Talking points Memo”.  It would appear because of my recent writings concerning the rise of McCarthyism via the Southern Poverty Law Center, I am now a “right-wing fanatic”.   Who knew?  And here all these years I thought I was a Democrat!  Anyway, that’s how I always saw myself and how I voted. 

This particular site is linked with Muckraker; a very apt name.  Included in this obvious article to disparage anyone who might attempt to expose the national cancer that is the SPLC are the obligatory pictures of Nazi’s, skinheads and of course the words “right-wing paranoia” is the big selling point. 

Also, according to this muckraking site, the Security & Prosperity Partnership,  the foundational plans for the forming of the North American Union was also something I just conjured up. This will come as huge disappointment to the Council on Foreign Relations:

 “The Council on Foreign Relations serves as the intellectual incubator for most of the foreign policy direction followed by the executive branch of the federal government. Before the trilateral meeting between the heads of state in Waco on March 23 of 2005, the CFR had already undertaken an initiative with its counterparts in Mexico and Canada (Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales and the to study the possibility of integrating the three nations.

If not stopped, the plan for a North American Union will supplant the former independent states of Canada, Mexico, and the United States. And this is not conjecture. The North American Union is official U.S. policy.”

“the nations will no longer have separate borders, but will “implement common border-security.” The three nations will no longer respond on the national level to emergencies but will have a “common approach to emergency response.” And, in a move that has tremendous implications for the growing immigration crisis, the three leaders agreed that the United States’ north and south borders would be eliminated. Under the SPP plan, the three nations will “implement a border-facilitation strategy to build capacity and improve the legitimate flow of people and cargo at our shared borders.”

“The standard diplomatic language was a prelude to a radical proposal calling for the merger of the three nations in several important ways. Under a so-called Security and Prosperity Partnership”

Never mind that these plans call for the obliteration of the borders between the US, Canada and Mexico.  The way this TPM propaganda piece is written, you would have thought that I, single handedly, wrote up these documents, implemented the working groups, left the border unsecured, entered in to the Civil Assistance agreement with Canada and Mexico to allow the over the border use of military against any one of our countries, and entered into multiple international agreements that usurp our sovereignty and laws, penned the Patriot Acts myself and started wars all around the world.

I HAD NO IDEA I WAS SO DAMNED POWERFUL!  

Southern Poverty Law Center: The greatest threat to the US today

Excerpted: “marches, rallies, speeches, meetings, leafleting or publishing.” These are somehow now a threat to SPLC and the government for whom SPLC generates propaganda.    SPLC receives some funding from the FBI in exchange for allowing them to access its intelligence files. 

In my opinion, one of the greatest threats to our country existing today is, The Southern Poverty Law Center.  This page asks you to add your voice to the ignorance and propaganda.  Contrary to SPLC’s claim that all the groups listed: 

“All hate groups have beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people, typically for their immutable characteristics.”

So how did Oathkeepers and constitutionalists qualify for this stance?  And many others fingered by SPLC for not knuckling under to unlawful federal mandates.______Marti

This is taken directly from Southern Poverty Law Center’s website.  This organization views Oathkeepers, Constitutionalists and sovereignty groups, among many others as “hate groups”.  SPLC has now come out and declared the Catholic church to be a threat also.

McCarthy rises from the dead: The Southern Poverty Law Center is the new face of McCarthyism

One of the darkest periods of our recent social and political history were the years Joe McCarthy mounted what became known as the “Second Red Scare”.  McCarthyism lasted from the 1940’s well into the late 1950’s. 

Making unsubstantiated accusations of treason, subversion and publicly destroying individuals unfortunate enough to be caught in McCarthy’s sites, career’s were ruined along with lives and reputations.  Usually, the only evidence McCarthy and his cohorts had, if you can call it that; was suspicion.  No evidence was needed, and those residing in our hallowed halls of government repeatedly failed to step forward and stop this paranoid fantasy exhibited by McCarthy. 

McCarthyism has been revived via the Southern Poverty Law Center.  The practice of using unsubstantiated accusations has been raised to a fine art by SPLC as they assemble their McCarthy-esque lists of “groups, individuals, organizations, etc.,” whom they want us to believe should come under close scrutiny not only by their own organization, but also the government.  SPLC is a social predator and attempts to be a social controller and is in reality, an arm of government sponsored propaganda.

You say you can’t understand the anger and frustration of taxpaying citizen voters in this country, so you are reacting with “punching” back, or bewilderment, cowardice, or outrage.

You are so far removed from “ordinary” life you can’t understand why we ordinarily polite, mostly middleclass people are so angry. 

For generations we have treated you with respect, even when you betray us time and time again.  You steal our money, our freedoms, our futures, our Bill of Rights, our hopes and dreams and still think we should respect you?

For all the “Honorable’s”, pleases, begging, cajoling,  and polite acceptance of your cat of nine tails…what did it get us?  Only more, and more arrogance, corruption, rudeness, chicanery, brutality, and utter disregard for our wishes and well being.  While we were being polite and respectful you were busy weaving your protection racket scheme to cover each others’ rears, feather your nests, and keep us in the dark.
