There is a web site called Liberty Zone were they say the U.S. Constitution is defended. According to the web site a liberty zone is a concept to engage, local county citizens in defense of their freedoms and rights, their true constitutional liberties and rights from encroachment by lawless, unconstitutional powers of federal, state, or local governments and courts.

They go on to say that “everyone knows there is something terribly wrong with our governments, and that the problem is getting worse by the day. Many true patriots, and even many who haven’t even thought of themselves as “patriots,” are sick at heart at the unconstitutional lawlessness, greed and corruption taking place in our Republic, but are frustrated at what to do about it. Many join various groups created to help educate people, and to begin to resist the growth of tyranny, which is a great thing to do, but this doesn’t address the real place change must take place… at out local, County level, and with the People. What can be done to unite citizens in towns, cities and counties across our great Republic”.

The site points out that the various Federal, State and Local governments have strayed far outside their authority and are unconstitutional in many actions. Unless The People stand up for the laws of the land and for the Constitution of the U.S.A., as it was intended and as “The People” expect it to be, our way of life is threatened and will cease to exist. There are millions of people across the country that belong to various groups that hold to these beliefs as well, but are so diluted at the local level that nothing can be done to effect grass root, local efforts.

They claim the solution is creating your local county, city or town as a “Liberty Zone” and is the start to bringing like-minded people together. Liberty Zones locally will be that focal point for individuals, irrespective of group affiliation, and allow our County citizens to support the varied missions of the many allies we all have in our varied groups. The ONLY way the People will secure their liberties is to stand together to defend the Constitution, both federal and state.

Whatever the Southern Poverty Law (Lie) Center may have done in the past that would have merited respect has long since gone the way of most organizations that lose their way when they are suddenly treated as if they actually still retain any value.  This organization that makes its living reviving McCarthyism with all the paranoia and viciousness it can muster is a blight on America.  It is my belief that we need to compile our own list of threats to America, and SPLC would top that list. 

Until a few years back, I was a registered Democrat and had been all my adult life.  I left that party along with any other political affiliation due to the corruption in government at the hands of politicians who did and still do violate our Constitution and our rights while they wage phony wars for profit and who will sell us out to the highest corporate bidder.  It was individuals from both major party’s who initiated the wholesale destruction of our rights; it was and is presidents representing both major party’s who encouraged and condoned these things.  I take these assaults on the Constitution and my rights very seriously.  For me, this is very personal and I reserve my Constitutional right to dissent and to voice that dissent without a gaggle of otherwise unemployable and paranoid hacks creating lists of fictional threats. 

It is apparent that the only “research” done to compile their lists is on the net.  Anyone (like me) who points out the corruption of the government, who questions their authority to violate and abrogate our rights, who publicly expresses their disgust with the loss of our sovereignty due to illegal trade agreements (which are NOT treaty’s as prescribed by the constitution), the selling off of our infrastructure to foreign interests, anyone who realizes that Muslims can’t be the international threat the government claims they are or they wouldn’t continue to allow millions to emigrate to the US (would they?) that Homeland Security exists for no other reason than to protect the government from us. 

If we believe that our right to own property free of government encumbrance, to engage in lawful business activity free of laws protecting corporations  and most especially if we believe that with our economy in shambles and 22 million legal Americans unable to find work that our borders should be secured and illegal residents deported back to their homeland……well, we must all be “hate groups, nativists, ring-wing extremists,” and whatever other fear mongering tags they can come up with to identify those of us who object to the deconstructing of America. 

Well, I lean more to the left , don’t own a gun, don’t belong to any groups and have absolutely no idea why being a “nativist” meaning, a patrotic American citizen, is a bad thing unless of course you are a member of SPLC and then you are fearful and suspicious of anyone who isn’t you.

Southern Poverty Law (Lie) Center:  This group should be charged under the hate crimes act for intitiating the targeting and public degradation of the patriot movement.

Whatever the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) started out to be, (and research shows this was questionable) it is now intolerable, defined by its intolerance of anyone or any group who doesn’t adhere to its ever changing blacklists comprised of “who we hate today”.  I will reiterate what I have said before; SPLC is the new McCarthyism.  SPLC is the ADL/South; the Anti-defamation league only slightly more virulent in its targeting and maligning of any who dare to oppose it.  The Southern Poverty Law Center has made a profitable business out of selling hate, propaganda and intolerance.  We should call this group by its proper name” The Southern Poverty Lie Center.

Doing a little investigative research it appears there are big bunches of cash to made peddling hate and SPLC is a pro at raising cash; in fact the business of selling imagined and selective hate data has become so profitable that SPLC might stand a chance of losing its 501c3 tax exemption.

SPLC has become adept at convincing government officials and law enforcement that patriot groups who advocate for the constitution and civil liberties are on the verge of rising up and committing violence; patriots=militia’s, according to SPLC.

Fighting for Liberty = Terrorism

Well, according to the goons at London’s Gatwick Airport, fighting for liberty is now officially recognized as “terrorism.” A young man wearing a T-shirt sporting the slogan, “Freedom or Death” was told to cover his shirt because the slogan was “threatening” and “an incitement to terrorism.” That’s how far things have gone in the UK, now, and it’s looking more and more like we’re not very far behind. This makes me wonder how long it will be before the state of New Hampshire is forced to change its state motto (“Live free or die”). Actually, it’s already been suggested.

When expressions of the values our nation was founded upon become “an incitement to terrorism” and we must watch what we write or say for fear of being labeled as “terrorists,” we are already living in a police state, folks. Whether there are troops in the streets with guard dogs or not makes no difference; the effect is the same: a loss of fundamental liberty. In fact, I would say that we are living in a far more effective police state by virtue of the fact that the troops and guard dogs are not needed in order to keep us in line. We have become so spineless that just the implied threat of a government crackdown is enough to silence most people, these days.

So far as I can tell from six years on the net, there are three kinds of patriots.

The un-informed, the in-formed, and the cognitively dissonant, all are patriots, and all are pissing in the wind.

The un-informed; are running on emotion, as a result of a life time exposure to public education, and the media industry, and to their worthy credit, most have tried, or would not hesitate to lay down their lives for America, and this is the hardest group to deal with, due to their fierce love for the Constitution, and their perception of America. Telling them the real history of the birth of America is a good way to lose these friends real fast. Believe me; I don’t want to lose loyal American’s because I am not capable of making them accept the truth.

An Open Letter to the Patriot Community

America’s enemies are winning the war against freedom from tyrannical governance, and it is now time to consolidate our army of Informers.

Make no mistake about it, there is no other option other than informing the masses about HOW America will become just another statistic in the long list of defeated Nations; and unless we can offer up information that can and does prove who did this to us, we will shortly become a satellite to a world government. Our only hope is by using the same techniques our enemy has used over and over to gain their objective. Namely, infuriate the masses with fear and outrage, against a particular target. This is a last call to arms people, so read carefully, and with the attitude of discovering how we can preserve our country’s sovereignty. 

My Response To MIAC Report…….By Chuck Baldwin

By now, readers should be familiar with the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) report dated 02/20/09 and titled, “MIAC Strategic Report: The Modern Militia Movement.” In this dreadfully malicious and slanderous “law enforcement sensitive” secret police report, Governor Jeremiah (Jay) Nixon; John Britt, Director of the Missouri Department of Public Safety; James Keathley, Colonel, Missouri State Highway Patrol; and Van Godsey, Director of MIAC categorize certain citizens as being potential violence-prone “militia members.” I would venture to guess that more than 75% of the entire population of the United States would fit the MIAC’s broad definition of someone who would fall into the aforementioned category.

 

According to the MIAC report, if you oppose any of the following, you could qualify for being profiled as a potential dangerous “militia member”:

 

The United Nations

The New World Order

Gun Control

The violation of Posse Comitatus

The Federal Reserve

The Income Tax

The Ammunition and Accountability Act

A possible Constitutional Convention

The North American Union

Universal Service Program

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)

Abortion

Illegal Immigration

 

Again, I would bet that at least 75% of the American people would oppose at least one or more items on the above list. Well, according to the MIAC report, that is sufficient to make them potential dangerous “militia members.”

 

However, it is the following statement contained in the MIAC report that is particularly disturbing to yours truly. Under the heading “Political Paraphernalia,” the report states, “Militia members most commonly associate with 3rd party political groups. It is not uncommon for militia members to display Constitutional [sic] Party, Campaign for Liberty, or Libertarian material. These members are usually supporters of former Presidential Candidate [sic]: Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr.”

 

The obvious inference of the above statement links Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and myself to potential dangerous “militia members.” The broader implication is that the millions of people who supported Ron Paul, Bob Barr, or myself are likewise categorized as potential dangerous “militia members.” This is a classic case of broad-brushed police profiling. Can you imagine the fallout of this preposterous report had the names Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and Maxine Waters been used instead of the names Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr?

 

Accordingly, Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and I wrote a formal letter to the above-named Missouri officials demanding “that the following-described document be immediately removed from any and all websites associated with or maintained by the state of Missouri or any agency thereof, including the MIAC; that the said document no longer be circulated by the state of Missouri or any agency thereof or associated therewith; and that the state of Missouri repudiate its references to the three of us contained therein.”

Ladies and gentlemen, we simply cannot allow this kind of police profiling to continue. I assure you, this phenomenon is not limited to the State of Missouri. Every state that has a “Fusion Center” is being fed this kind of nonsense on a regular basis. You and I are commonly referred to as “extremists” in these secret police reports. This has been happening in earnest for the past couple of months and is operating under the auspices of the federal Department of Homeland Security. And people with a public platform (such as myself, Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and a host of others) are now being singled out by name. How long will it be before police agencies begin “picking up and hauling away” those people whose names are mentioned in these reports? It may be sooner than we think.

The only thing that will stymie this nonsense is a huge public outcry opposing it. Yes, the people of this country (that means YOU) still have the power to put a stop to this kind of totalitarian thinking. If we do nothing, however, it will soon be too late to stop it. We either stop it now, or it will quickly mushroom into a leviathan that will both monitor and control the personal opinions and speech of every man, woman, and child in this country. No, I am not exaggerating.

 

The Feds already monitor virtually every phone call, email, and public speech in the country. How long before these secret police reports will be used as justification to arrest and incarcerate people because of their ideas and opinions, labeling them as a “threat” or as “dangerous” to society?

Mark it down: if you have ever publicly opposed any of the above-mentioned issues or organizations, or have ever publicly supported an independent Presidential candidate, YOU ARE BEING PROFILED RIGHT NOW!

 

We await the State of Missouri’s response. In the meantime, what are you going to do?

Barack Obama’s victory speech on Tuesday night is very interesting. At times it sounds more like he’s promoting Ron Paul’s Campaign for Liberty than accepting victory as a Democratic President.

The Republicans did not lose the election because of Sarah Palin.  Nor was it because of an overwhelming turnout.  Nor was it due to the desire of so many Americans to see “Change.”  The Republicans lost because they forgot what it meant to be a Republican.

 Ronald Reagan said, “The heart and soul of conservatism is libertariansism.”  

Barack Obama said, “The true strength of our nation comes…from the enduring power of our ideals: democracy, liberty, opportunity and unyielding hope.” 

Liberty?  Opportunity? These are not Democratic ideals. They were Republican ideals, until the Republicans  decided to rip the “heart and soul” out of their party to promote a neocon agenda of “security and safety.”  Without their heart and soul, they got their asses handed to them by the asses, er, donkeys.

To rub more salt into the wounds of the Republicans, Obama also said this about the Republican Party: 

Let’s remember that it was a man from this state who first carried the banner of the Republican Party to the White House, a party founded on the values of self-reliance and individual liberty and national unity.  Those are values we all share.

Self-reliance?  Yeah, like using tax money to “help people pay their mortgages” as McCain proposed?  Individual liberty?  Sure, unless you don’t think you should have your 4th Amendment rights violated to use a ticket you purchased from an airline.  National unity?  There has rarely been a time in our nation’s history when we’ve been more divided than leading into the election.    

Why?  Because the Bush Doctrine of “you’re with us or against us” didn’t just apply to foreign nations.  It applied to anyone who wished to use their first amendment rights to criticize government policies.  If you didn’t agree with the government, you weren’t a “patriot.”  A “patriot” is one who stands for the ideals the Republicans were founded on and seemed to have forgotten–not someone who turns a blind eye when the government begins to overstep its bounds in order to keep us “safe.”  

If the Republicans want to understand why they lost this election, it isn’t hard to figure out.  They forgot who they were. Or as Ron Paul said in a debate in which he was laughed at and booed, “The Republican Party has lost its way.”  They forgot to promote the values, that as Obama said, “we all share.”

If they want to get back into power, they have to be smart enough to be Republicans again.  The beauty of this is that this time, many of the people they will turn to to run for office while espousing these ideals will actually believe in them after they are elected.  It won’t be about winning an election, it will be about Restoring our Republic.  

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.  The Campaign for Liberty couldn’t be better poised to become the major force in the Republican Party than it is right now.  Just as Reagan ran on these ideals after a massive liberal was in office, there will be a new Reagan who emerges.  And the country will be ready for it.  This time around, the Republicans were just too stupid to listen to a man that was screaming it all along.  Instead, they had to hear the words from the Democratic President-elect.

Our only viable solution, short of civil war, is to remove and prosecute government officials for treason using the rule of law. Mark Dankof to American Patriots: Bob Barr for President? Forget It. 

Julie Bosman’s front page story in the June 28th New York Times chronicles the 3rd Party Presidential campaign efforts of ex-Republican Congressman Bob Barr, who will run on the Libertarian Party ticket.

My candid advice to American Patriots.  Forget it.  And please spell that in capital letters for public distribution to people in our movement around the nation.

Barr and I have met personally on only one occasion–the Conservative Caucus symposium on Y2K issues held before the turn of the century in Washington, D. C.’s swank University Club.  He was one of the illustrious speakers scheduled for that event by Caucus Chairman Howard Phillips.  I recall the Congressman as an interesting speaker and an apparent gentleman. 

That having been said, Ms. Bosman’s well positioned piece on the Barr candidacy in today’s Times should prove fatal to the Georgian’s chances for meaningful impact on the November election–if the Patriot movement glances at the record, effectively chronicled for the world in New York this June 28th.  Furthermore, his nomination by the Libertarian Party could seal the latter’s permanent fate as well.

Why?  As page A 10 in today’s Times underscores, Bob Barr voted in the United States Congress for 1)  the USA Patriot Act; and 2)  the “authorization” for Mr. Bush’s war in Iraq in 2002.

It is difficult to imagine a more ludicrous scenario than this–a Libertarian Presidential candidate running as an “alternative” to the impending McCain-Obama/AIPAC tragicomedy unfolding before the American people, who has put his own imprimatur on the drive of the New World Order’s elite to recast the United States as a domestic police state, and a nation at perpetual war on behalf of transnational corporations and the Israeli Lobby.

As I have already said–forget it.  In capital letters.

Ms. Bosman also notes that Barr is attempting to co-opt Congressman Ron Paul’s constituency.  Reassuringly, the Times columnist notes the resentment of ex-Paul staffers and supporters, aimed at such a transparently fraudulent scheme being launched by the Libertarian Party and its dubious Presidential nominee.  That The New York Times honestly reports this development, suggests that Barr’s sleight-of-hand with the American Right specifically, and the voting public generally, will mercifully crash land well before becoming airborne this fall. 

American Patriots, Constitutionalists, and Paleo-Conservatives are then left with one of three (3) choices going into November of 2008.

The first option is not to vote.  There is a compelling rationale behind this argument, namely to delegitimize a corrupt process firmly in the control of a well-financed, evil cabal, right down to the Diebold electronic voting machines and a sockpuppet news media parroting the line of the Masters of the Masses.  The libertarian web site LewRockwell.com has occasionally run well honed essays promoting this viable choice.

The second option materializes only if Congressman Ron Paul decides to launch his own 3rd party effort after the Republican National Convention is over.  Paul’s assets are his ideological principles, a loyal grassroots constituency, and a higher degree of name recognition than would have been the case a year ago.  His liabilities include a less than effective communication style and bearing than one would like in a Presidential candidate in this media driven age, and the age-old problems confronting any 3rd party effort–money, ballot access, and media coverage.

There is a third option.  This involves casting a vote for Pastor Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party.  I have endorsed Baldwin, on the basis of his ideological consistency and personal integrity, and also out of loyalty to my old friends in the Constitution Party.  Baldwin has already served the American Republic well by keeping Zionist shill Alan Keyes from taking over the 16 year old party founded by Howard Phillips in 1992.    If the Pensacola-based Baptist clergyman is to move his Party into better electoral results and the subsequent credibility such results would bring, he must prove to be a much better guerrilla political strategist and campaigner than his well meaning predecessors have been.  My advice to 2004 Constitution Party candidate Michael Peroutka, still available at Dave Black On-Line, holds true today for Chuck Baldwin.  He must pursue my Trinity Strategy with a vengeance, while targeting key swing states in a close election between the major party candidates.  If he manages this, his candidacy and the fate of his party might become exhiliratingly airborne like a Phoenix rising from the ashes.  If he fails, the Constitution Party will be consigned to the trash heap of history in the final days of the American Republic.

Finally, perhaps my friend Peter Phillips of Sonoma State University and Project Censored might have some thoughts on why The New York Times is willing to give Bob Barr and the Libertarians front page coverage, while ignoring Chuck Baldwin and his Constitution Party.  It may be more than a coincidence that the Georgia-based Congressman is an ex-operative of the Central Intelligence Agency, or that he is now associated with Dallas-based and H. Ross Perot-linked political consultant Russell Verney.  American Patriots may be interested in searching out these links and money trails in the days ahead–to see where they lead and what they mean.
