WETUMKA, A LITTLE CITY IN OKLAHOMA, Part II
Mayor Jackson, under the microscope
“Tanya Talks- Where your voice is heard- and your story is told” will be aired Sunday evening, September 15th on“Marti Oakley’s TS Radio Network” and also live broadcast on Stephen Burke’s 89.9 KLRB FM at: 5 pm pacific, 5 pm pacific, 6 pm mountain, 7 pm central and 8 eastern time.
Mayor Jackson has been DECLINED his invitation to the show albeit there has been correspondence. “Tanya Talks” has requested statements as well, defenses of allegations and the rotating door of employees. on the show to discuss the matters discussed on this initial series. We will discuss the correspondence and swiftly move to the viable information that can or cannot lead to the people ultimate overturning his position as “Mayor”.
– Are promises being kept, or proactively in progress?
-How’s the electric bill?- The water?
– Do you feel the Wetumka is in a better place since Mayor Jackson was elected? Why/Why not
-Did your current Mayor represent himself accurately while campaigning?
-What promises are being fulfilled and what are not?
-What do you feel or know is unethical, non-transparent, questionable- if anything.
A rebuttal by Mayor Jackson to an article in The Hughes County Tribune has been forwarded to “Tanya Talks”. We’ll talk about the significance and your response to his.
There must be more than a dislike for “JJ” to be removed. Information is being forwarded and let’s not let it subside. Who is willing to document what they know under the pain and penalty of perjury? Sign a petition? Contact your representatives IN WRITING and keep a copy so we know just how many have let their concerns be known.
A request has been made late on Friday for the status of a voter fraud investigation. A response is pending.

Casting light on spending in Elections

In January, the Supreme Court strengthened corporations’ grip on our government and political process with a dangerous ruling, overturning more than 100 years of election law. We are part of a group of senators fighting to rein in the increased influence of special interest money this decision will unleash and save our electoral process. To combat the new, unregulated corporate influence over elections, we just unveiled the DISCLOSE Act — because Democracy Is Strengthened by Casting Light On Spending in Elections. But without your support, our legislation is never going to win the day — we need to build support all around the country, and we need your help to do it. As President Obama has said, the Supreme Court has given “a green light to a new stampede of special interest money.” But this decision doesn’t just affect elections. It has the potential to change the very way we live in America. Think about it: When you buy toothpaste now, the money you spend can be used directly for television ads attacking people that you believe in without you even knowing. We have to respond. We all have to get in this battle, and we all have to fight it from every angle. To rein in the new powers the Supreme Court has given corporations to spend unlimited funds to influence elections, we have come up with a package of reforms that should greatly limit the damage:
If you don’t want to see corporations start running away with our elections, then we need you to step up and join us. Your co-sponsorship will help us pass this crucial bill — add your name at www.DISCLOSEact.com now! Thanks for your support — together, we can do this. Sincerely,

“Here is an example of how effective that can be. It was recently announced that Monsanto had reduced Roundup prices 50% from 2008 and 2009 levels. Forget all the hooey from Monsanto over why they did this. Everyone who farms, or who knows a farmer will tell you that the price of Roundup had been jacked up so high that they quit buying it.”

By now, everyone who has been exposed to thirty seconds or more of news is aware that the Supreme Court rendered a decision that strikes down Campaign Finance Regulation, setting back election reform by, some have estimated, one hundred years.
Good gawd, Justice Roberts, CORPORATIONS ARE NOT PEOPLE! More
