On June 19, 2018, the United States government announced it was leaving the United Nations’ Human Rights Council. The US listed several reasons for leaving, but the biggest one, according to US Ambassador, Nikki Haley, was the organization’s longstanding bias against Israel.
On June 1, 2018 the United States was the only country to vote no on a United Nations Resolution submitted by member countries that condemned Israel for the deaths of numerous Palestinians that were murdered by Israeli troops. Because the US has veto power in the UN, its single no vote was enough to crush the resolution despite ten other countries that voted in favor of it.
Why is the United States so hellbent on protecting the Zionist state of Israel? Why is the United States the only country to recognize JerUSAlem as its Capital?
There are Jews worldwide who do not recognize the legitimacy of the existence of the state of Israel. The following statement was put out by Neturei Karta International, “We condemn the Zionist misuse of the Jewish identity for their political motivations and we reject any ownership they claim on anything related to Judaism or the Jewish people. Their use of the name Israel is criminal and we demand that they stop using it. The state of Israel is not a Jewish state but a Zionist state.” More
