Are you prepared? Preppers across the country are preparing themselves for a worst case scenario. Why would they be anticipating such an event? Possibly because of the constant warnings and threats from our own government…the same government that marginalizes and refers to preppers as “conspiracy theorists, tin foil hat wearers”,etc.?
Erin Dakins will speak about preparedness and what you can do to protect your family and help them survive if a “worst case scenario” should occur.

Erin Dakins:Bio
Erin Dakins woke up to the reality that the world was not what it seems, would not always be nice and comfortable – that the American Dream was in fact a matrix built on lies and deceptions. Erin was a Registered Veterinary Technician for 25 years before waking up to the true reality and began writing for Indiana Preppers and subsequently retiring from the clinic to work full-time as Guest and Program Producer for the nationally syndicated talk radio show “The Power Hour with Joyce Riley” which focuses on the truth behind the scenes in areas such as politics, banking and health. She has embraced the preparedness movement professionally and personally. Learning how to prepare for any emergency, short-term or long-term has been her path to freedom and while the police state is here, understanding the truth – that we are all free can give everyone the power to fight back, put back and be sustainable ensuring survival.

I hope he covers this in the book, but the most cricual tool in you kit is the gray matter’ between your ears! It is more important to know how to deal with survival stresses and needs; and to be able to do so without gear than to lug around a bunch of stuff you have no clue how to use! Next after that I hope he gives a lot of information about knives. A good knife is the most important item to have in a survival situation after your brains!I also hope he spent some time on clothing. Clothing in a survival situation is your primary shelter and it is very important to select clothing that will provide the sort of continuous protection from the elements that people need in any survival scenario. As for specific gear, I have three survival items I never leave home without: a stout knife, a good lighter, and 80 feet of 550 paracord (fashioned into a belt). With the proper knowledge and these items, one can tackle most survival problems in a bug-out situation. Everything else just makes the various tasks of survival easier, more efficient, or more convenient. KNOW HOW MUST COME FIRST!!!One last thing I would like to mention in this post: if one intends to bug-out in a disaster or TEOWTAWKI, be sure to have at least TWO no-kidding bug-out locations (BOLs) that you will be heading to one primary, and at least one alternate where you will have access to supplies, shelter and a measure of security for an extended period of time. If you don’t have these, your bug-out effort may leave you worse off than when you started!

They are on that show to marginalize the movement. They were not selected for any other reason than they were extreme.

Will the preppers in the tv show represent the main-stream-prepper or will they represent those who may be considered extreme, and out on the edge? Or a combination thereof?
