Abolish Corporate Personhood When corporations were declared to be “persons” by the law, we should have realized where this was going. Declaring a corporation a “person” gives that corporation the rights of an individual citizen, and sometimes more due to the amount of capital that a corporation can generate to make sure that its “rights” are upheld.
