Besides being unhealthy, cigarettes can cost a pack-a-day smoker over $2500 a year, and we could all use that money to pay down debt, take a vacation, or just have some insurance money left in the bank.
It’s also shocking to realize that Big Tobacco – the same industry we thought we got rid of years ago – is quietly raking in some serious profits. A lot of these profits are coming from overseas markets, but Big Tobacco is still advertising here at home. After 40 years of decline, the smoking rate in the US has flat-lined for the last five years.
I’ve heard plenty of feedback this week on my recent spate of infographics, so take what you will from this one. I personally am floored by the lot of the statistics and I think that, like the other infographics I’ve posted, this one should help expose just how large the Tobacco industry is and how much it affects you and your family.
Here’s a new graphic from FRUGALDAD highlighting ust how the world of tobacco affects the world. VIEW GRAPHIC HERE

I love those who complain about smoking and who routinely get blasted on their favorite alcohol. Or, will go eat that mess at McDon’s or some other nasty crap. These are the same people who will sit in traffic for hours, sucking up the exhaust from a hundred other vehicles and who seem to have no ill affects from that. The exhaust from one car produces toxins equivelant to 10,000 cigs upon ignition inthe first five seconds. That doesn’t bother you does it? You can suck that up all day because it is what YOU do and therefore it must be ok. We all have our faults. We all have our vices. For every smoker whose habits you liek to look down on ….you have five that you won’t admit to that are equally as bad…….but no one has launched a crusade agaisnt them have they …yet.

If I were to quit smoking, just what the hell would I do after having sex? AND, who in their right mind wants to get old in this world anyway!????
I just got this from my wife:
SS & Medicare Cuts
To help save the economy, the Government will announce next month that the Immigration Department will start deporting seniors (instead of illegal’s) in order to lower Social Security and Medicare costs.
Older people are easier to catch, and will not remember how to get back home.
I started to cry when I thought of you…
Then it dawned on me … Oh crap … I’ll see you on the bus!

The cost to your lungs/health alone should deter anyone from smoking, let alone the monetary toll on your expense account…. I guess if one continues to smoke, they deserve what they get… lugging around an oxygen tank/drain on your loved ones, and finally death…. if that is what they deny what is in store for them after smoking these deadly fags.. then let them die. No pity for idiots who take the low road.

great presentation, thank you. i love it.
but it makes me think of one of my favorite questions: what if they threw a war and no one came?
what if they produced poisonous smoking sticks…..
sociopathic multi-national corporate/government aside – how have we become a nation of people so weak and helpless that the responsibility for our poor choices is laid on those who offer the choices?
those in enthrallment to the united nation’s program for global population reduction are loving these statistics. people are voluntarily doing themselves in. saves the globalists time and money.
we live in an increasingly toxic world. by design. we have the deaths and injuries from imperialist wars, haarp-related disasters, chemtrails, toxic water, toxic food, toxic air, bpa in plastics and cans, iatrogenesis, pharmaceuticals, vaccines, cell phones/towers, smart meters.
some of these are difficult to avoid. but smoking?
if we cannot take responsibility for our lives and our choices, even minimally, there is no hope for our survival. it does not matter that it might be difficult. we are running out of time.
to the best of one’s ability in any given moment, stop feeding the machine that is causing your own demise. stop.
peace,
arcadia
